**My standpoint:**

As a host, it is incredibly infuriating to have to put up with the obnoxious jokes, ignorance, and overall immaturity of people in games. For my first point I want to talk about ignorance.

**Common knowledge:**

- This is ultrahardcore. If it's not NOT allowed, you can do it. If you're new, read the player FAQ. It describes what you usually can and cannot do in matches.

- In my FFA tonight, I had almost 10 people ask things like "is staircasing allowed?" "Can I dig to sounds?". This is common knowledge. No host would disallow something like this.

*Needless Immaturity:**

- Your jokes aren't funny. The constant things like "#creepered" or "is cutclean on?!??!!?" just not only spam the chat but provide an annoying experience for the true players who came to the game to have fun.

- Helpop is not a discussion tool. It's for *help.* If you have a problem with the match, use /*help*op to *once* to calmly inform the host or operator of the problem. In my game tonight, a new player was spamming helpop with things like "hi!!!!" and "lol xd!!". This is not only spammy to the host, but it filters out the real problems in the game.

- On top of this: **when the host says to stop doing something or it is not allowed, please do not reenact this event in chat because you think it's funny.** After this newer player that I mentioned was told in chat and /msg to stop using helpop for such things, multiple people who weren't new and are actually generally respected in the community started to do exactly the opposite of what I said.

**Ettiquette:**

- Alright, alright! I'm not the best at this, but lately I've cut down on the raging and I've realized that it's just a game and I shouldn't get worked up. And yeah, in the past few days, I haven't gotten upset when I died. I've had a couple funny moments in which I died and laughed about it. Anyway, that's not what this is about

- When someone dies or you kill someone, there's no need to scream "REKT ! !! ! ! ! " in chat, or just be a dick to them.

- When you die, don't rage. If you need to step away from the computer, just do it.

The community it starting to fall apart. We're breaking further apart into different communities and more hatred and unnecessary arguing is starting to occur on a daily basis. The only way we can form a stronger bond is if we act more mature and stop being so rude to each other.
