  1. Hello everyone,

  3. For those of you who don't know me, I've been playing pservers since 2015, trying dozens of them
  4. donating generous amounts to those that I like, those that make my free time enjoyable. I have also seen
  5. dozens of pservers die for various reasons, and have seen various pservers improve through player suggestions.
  6. Windia is no exception, I've started playing it since week 2 after release and seeing the amazing features and the refreshing
  7. new approach, I've said to myself that this is it, a worthy server that I will stick with and support anytime.

  9. However, lots of things happened in the past few months and this is my last attempt on trying to reach to the staff about it.
  10. Most of us can agree that there were some bad decisions made (innos, low hp chaos bosses, bad balancing, weird nerfs, etc..).
  11. But the main reason I'm writing this is because there is a strong disconnect between the players and the staff.

  13. Here are a few of the main issues:
  14. - When doing tests in tespia before the final patch, Me and others have suggested fixes for numerous issues that players are now constantly posting about.
  15. The staff just didn't fully listen to our logical and valid arguments. Even if they did, the solutions were only partially implemented.

  17. - There is a general feeling that the staff don't even play the game that they are running.
  18. Various problems regarding skill balancing and the in game economy that experienced players have brought up and suggested solutions for were mostly ignored.
  19. It's not hard to see the effects of ignoring these issues when you take a look at the current state of the in game economy.

  21. - No clue about achievable dpm numbers with current equipment and attack skills.
  22. The most recent Kerberos boss is literally impossible to beat as a result of not knowing what's actually achievable.
  23. There are only 18 players in the server with the means to actually attempt Kerberos.
  24. 12 of these players have tried so far and many of these 12 have quit as a result.
  25. This was even a factor in an entire guild disbanding.

  27. - No clue about farming rates, and other such related details.
  28. There is no denying that the most recent FMA nerfs have had a negative impact
  29. on the server. Many have tried to continue farming after the update and it is
  30. extremely discouraging when you think about it.

  32. > Monsters hit 15 -> 10. Attack speed increased by 35%.

  34. This is a straight 30% nerf to the original (cs, ws, pflame) farming rates.
  35. Whilst it may not affect the players who can farm at veracent, for the most of
  36. the player base, this took away 30% of our drops and exp per attack.
  37. Take rto4 for example, originally 400~450 cs/h. Now it's 200~250 cs/h as each
  38. attack hits 5 less mobs. The attack speed boost does nothing to make up for it
  39.  
  40. This nerf only serves to slow progression and push the already far away target
  41. of 90 star force further away.

  43. What was the point of this?

  45. Was this even considered as a potential problem?

  47. How did this even happen in the first place?

  50. The staff say that they are open for suggestions and have made tespia for testing purposes.
  51. However, there seems to be a wall that filters out a lot of the crucial feedback
  52. provided by the test players that would have prevented a lot of the current issues.

  54. So, all of us would like to ask for some real change.
  55. We're asking you guys to take a step forward by acknowledging the problems that
  56. your current way of operation has caused and to hopefully improve for the better
  57.  
  58. It may seem obvious to us but it may not be for you.
  59. Here's a short list:
  60. - Test bosses on actual characters with X dpm to better understand what needs
  61. tweaking and whether or not it's even possible to down a boss.
  62. Also, rather than just boosting total boss hp, there are many other options.
  63. Specific type weaknesses, avoidable timed attacks, and maybe even boss adds.

  65. - Find out about the actual cs per min/hr of maps and classes, same with dpm.
  66.  
  67. - Learn the basic principles of supply and demand, currency circulations, etc.

  70. While all of this may be too much to ask for a single person, a team of people
  71. who actually play the game they run will be able to do all this and more.

  73. Some of us may be toxic to you, quit, and throw tantrums but it's because we
  74. like what you have built here. We find it incredibly sad that the server is in
  75. its current state.

  77. You may have a different opinion on all of these matters but all the things here
  78. are facts and here is a list of the players who feel you should know this.
