  1. Jeremy pulled up to work. He got out to see someone waving him over at the entrance. Very unusual, the place is usually abandoned by now. Well, except for the more robotic residents. The strange man came jogging over. The first thing that came to Jeremy's mind was that he was wearing similar uniform to him.
  2. "Hello? Hello?! Can you help me?" The man frantically shouted
  3. "Well sure I guess. You work here?" Jeremy responded.
  4. "Yeah I usually leave you messages, listen it's urgent."
  5. "More urgent than killer robots?"
  6. "We can talk about that later, someone stole my car!"
  7. "Well okay but what does that have to do with me?"
  8. "I uh, got locked out."
  9. "Oh."
  10. "I know it's, well, 'safer' out here but I really need to use that phone."
  11. "Yeah sure" Jeremy opened the doors.
  12. "Thank you so much!"
  13.
  14. The two began to quicken their pace through the halls to the office.
  15. "So how long were you standing out there?" Jeremy asked
  16. "About 30 minutes."
  17. "Why do you leave so late?"
  18. "Uh F-foxy's my favorite?"
  19. "Uh huh" Jeremy wasn't believing that for a second.
  20.
  21. Jeremy watched as the man began to dial on the phone quickly.
  22. "That's a lot of numbers for 911."
  23. "911? No I'm calling my car."
  24. "What? Why?"
  25. "They won't believe me if I tell them."
  26. "That someone stole your car?"
  27. "No I-look I'll put them on speakerphone, maybe you'll understand."
  28.
  29. The slow steady ring was interrupted by a click. Argumentative sounds of "put it to my face!" could be heard.
  30. "Yes? Who's calling? I didn't order any!"
  31. "Yeah hey listen, can you give me my car back? And my robot?"
  32. "Hell no!"
  33. A faint nerdy voice could be heard "I-I don't think I can hold this fox and this phone and the steering whe-"
  34. "I'LL GAS YOU AT THE NEAREST STATION IF YOU DON'T KEEP DRIVING!" The answerer of the phone yelled.
  35. The caller looked more and more distressed. Jeremy still looked quizzical.
  36. Phone guy continued asking questions.
  37. "What are you going to do with my car?!"
  38. "I'm going ALL THE WAY TO PHOENIX to meet my body!"
  39. The awkward voice was beginning to panick "I-I can't keep steering with my legs!"
  40. "DAMMIT STEVE!"
  41. A foreign sound started coming through the phone, along the lines of "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
  42. "I TOLD YOU TO HOLD THAT FOX DOWN! WE NEED TO PUT HIS HEAD ON IT!"
  43. "H-hello?" Phone guy meekly asked.
  44. Silence on the end of the line.
  45.
  46. Jeremy cleared his throat.
  47. "So, you going to stay here or do you want to call a cab?"
