  1. Ganbaatar: http://i.imgur.com/U6vLUiB.png
  2. Alignment: LN: Lawful Neutral
  3. Titles: The Mercurial Lord, The Ironheart Brand
  4. Portfolio: Subservience, Forgework, Organized Combat, Metals, Weapons
  5. Worshipers: Blacksmiths, Slavers, Warmongers, Business Owners
  6.
  7. Paths: Metal, Order, Protection, Strength
  8.
  9. Once a normal old everyday living suit of armor, Ganbaatar was the subject of an alchemist's experiment with the god-metal Surendrar, the substance that every divine being's weapon is made of. This alchemist smelted Ganbaatar down and re-forged him with Surendrar obtained from a god's fallen weapon, throwing a portion of his own soul to the mix to add a little more 'humanity' to the product. The result was the most powerful, fully sentient 'golem' ever made, one with its own agenda. Ganbaatar felt he was equal to the gods now, and thanked the alchemist for 'upgrading' him by thrusting his metallic hand into the forge, and branding his symbol into the man's forehead, thus making the man into the Mercurial Lord's first servant.
  10.
  11. Ganbaatar used his connection to the weapon he'd been reforged from to call on its master, Ghiol, and challenged him to a duel for godhood. The duel resulted in Ganbaatar's eventual loss, but Ghiol called a meeting to ascend him to godhood anyway; it was ruled in favour, so that the other gods could keep an eye on the fledgling.
  12.
  13. Now, eons later, Ganbaatar is a full god, as powerful as any other. Unlike most, he deems to stay on the mortal plane, masterminding an empire of alchemical forges. To him, servants are a necessary part of a proper forge, performing the menial repetitive tasks required while their superiors handle the more intricate and complicated work. Menial soldiers are also a requisite for any war. Someone's got to stop the cannonballs, after all. For a follower of Ganbataar, all servants are to be branded to remind them of their position - this can be with Ganbataar's own holy symbol, or with a brand specific to the master.
  14.
  15. Ganbaatar believes that servants should be compensated, lest their work fall under par. LG followers tend to pay handsomely, and provide extra benefits like sleeping quarters near the workplace. LN or TN followers pay by performance, and usually require their servants and workers(if not in-house or soldiers) to have their own homes. LE worshipers of Ganbaatar pay their slaves piddling amounts, and keep them locked in little more than prisons, with hefty punishments for failure or sub par work.

  22. Alignment: LE: Lawful Evil
  23. Titles: The Crown of Pestilence, Lady of Plenty
  24. Portfolio: Forests, Plagues, Poisons, Vermin
  25. Worshipers: Assassins, Environmental Terrorists, Street Rats, The Diseased
  26. Paths: Nature, Earth, Beasts, Evil
  27. Note: Druids who worship Aurilya add Vermin to the lists of Domains they may choose from when gaining their Nature Bond ability.
  28.
  29. Aurilya has long held dominion over the vile side of the animal kingdom: insects, rats, snakes, and other plague spreaders and creepy-crawlies. Under her coda, the order inherent in many insectoid colonies is a necessary component of all life, with all communities requiring a 'king' or 'queen' who holds absolute power and is worshiped almost as if they were a god themselves. In addition, she governs the forests of the world, keeping them 'healthy' by cursing those who would enter them with horrific maladies. However, Aurilya's idea of a healthy forest includes massively overgrown jungles and poisoned, rotting glades.
  30.
  31. Speaking of poison, Aurilya values it as an effective, relatively risk-free method of dealing with threats to the 'hive'. This may have something to do with her being poisonous herself, or maybe it's just a coincidence.
  32.
  33. Followers of Aurilya come from many walks, from killers for hire who want her poisonous blessings, to nature-sworn activists either defending forests or slaughtering those who would endanger them. Those plagued with disease also seek her help; she will protect those who worship her, as she considers her clergy to be her 'hive'. She won't REMOVE a plague, but she will lessen one's effects on a clergyman by spreading it out to others.
  34.
  35. Those who are considered a type of plague by society also tend to follow Aurilya. 'Street rats', beggars, and petty thieves, even if they don't believe in most of Aurilya's codas, may flock to her.
  36.
  37. Aurilya has been known to feud with Ghiol and Ganbaatar over the nature of servants and 'plebeians'; to her, they are to serve willingly, with no desire for compensation, and to treat their respective monarch with absolute, unfolding loyalty, never thinking for themselves or doubting their leader, in opposition to Ghiol's beliefs that peasants and plebeians should strive ambitiously to improve their lot in life, and leave the community if they feel it their correct path. While Ganbaatar mostly promotes small master-servant relationships for business, Aurilyan hives are massive, with many branches, all under the inevitable rule of a single monarch.

  47. Worshippers: Young nobles, the oppressed, descendants of heroes
  48. Paths: Heroism, Good, Knowledge, Magic
  49.
  50. As the son of the now-fallen overdeity Morcant, Ghiol is the closest thing to a leader that the current gods have...or so he likes to tell everyone. Everyone. As the god of noble lineage, titles, and leadership, most mortals who come in contact with Ghiol see him as an insufferably garrulous buffoon who fully believes he is always correct. However, most mortals foolish, brash, or just plain situationally ignorant to challenge the god on this discover that he IS, in fact, nearly always correct. Ghiol holds the belief that those without ambition - peasants, small-time warriors and soldiers, and anyone who does not actively try to improve their lot in life and become the biggest thing they can be - is a helpless puppy that absolutely requires the protection of those with a more determined or aspirational bent on life. He's legitimately well-meaning, and does the best he can to help those he deems inferior, trying to convince them to leave their current, hapless lives behind and make something of themselves by sending ham-fisted 'signs of god' their way. These can vary from clues such as a 'passerby' follower of Ghiol asking a commoner to join them on a short trip, to a large, bold italic underlined Comic Sans inscription of "DO SOMETHING ALREADY" burned into the inside of their house door, or lining a path with wards that prevent a person from walking off of it. While Ghiol believes in his "heroes baby the commoners" ideology, he is extremely open to there being more and more heroes, and hopes that one day everyone in the world will be bursting with ambition, rendering his worldview obsolete.
  51.
  52. As a result of all this, Ghiol adores adventurers, specifically good-minded ones, no matter their placement on the Law/Chaos axis. He prefers those who abide by the rules of honor, but isn't above aiding the more chaotic or logical ones. However, betrayal is not something he will tolerate; he cuts off all ties with traitors. Ghiol places high value on knowledge, and spends much of his own time(of which he has a lot, being a god and all) delving through secret books mortals know not of. He has the ancestry of every person in the world, and even that of some powerful animals, committed to memory. While he is the god of ancestry and lineage, and he believes it is important to know one's roots, Ghiol does not believe one's bloodline or the feats of one's forefathers to completely define them. He does, however, hope for everyone to one-up their ancestors...which puts a lot of stress on people with particularly kickass parents.
  53.
  54. Those who worship Ghiol have one thing in common; they strive to give everyone an opportunity, a chance at greatness. They give the poor money, the weak strength, the trapped an escape, so that all may have an equal shot at life. Lawful Good followers of Ghiol exude his codas to the maximum, protecting and coddling the commoners and those with unlucky lots in life. Neutral Good clergymen tend to forego the coddling and focus on improving the plebeians' states of life. Lawful Neutral worshipers place an emphasis on the balance of ambition, keeping at bay those whom they fear would use the opportunities granted by a priest of Ghiol for evil.
