The Mcduck secret Pt.1

The Mcduck mansion, home to the richest duck in the world, Scrooge Mcduck.
The duck was a legend, every man wanted to be him and every girl wanted to be with him.
Strangely enough, Mcduck has never gotten himself a woman, let alone an heir.
This, of course, brought about many rumors questioning his sexuality.
Scrooge never dignified that line of thinking with a response.
After all, this rumor was nothing in comparison to the Mcduck family secret.


The duck in question was in his office.
He could hear loud sounds coming from the hallway.
Large bangs and quacks.
Scrooge sighed.
The mansion was usually quiet, only Scrooge and his butler were living in the giant home.
But recently Scrooge was given the job to take care of his nephew and niece, Donald and Della duck,
The children of his sister, while he put up a show of resistance, he knew deep down he couldn’t refuse.
After all…...
Scrooge picked up a photo of his sister Hortense.
He couldn’t help but run his hands on the picture, This only made him reaffirm his decision.
He would put his plan into action tonight, for the Mcduck family line.



Scrooge stood up and went to investigate the noises he was hearing all this time.
Well “investigate” was a strong word, he already knew who was responsible for the noise.
Scrooge ducked as soon as he opened the door to the main hallway.

A priceless antique knight helmet flew past him, his brain calculated how much money he just lost in that one second.
He quickly turned his head to the culprits.
Two young ducks were running around throwing whatever they could get their hands on at each other.
One had a look of delight while the other had a look of pure anger.
“Come on Donald! You haven’t even won one game!”
“I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT WE’RE PLAYING!!!”
The hall was littered with every type of sporting equipment.
The twins were holding a horrible contraption of a hockey stick/ baseball bat/ golf club/ tennis racket/ cricket bat all taped together.
A hockey goal was stuffed into a soccer goal and then hung up on a basketball hoop.
Barely hanging on was a banner showing off the name of the new sport, which was basically the name of all sports in existence meshed together.
Scrooge watched as the young Della jumped up the stairs hitting golf balls into the air while hitting a baseball and kicking a football all at the same time.
Each one of them hitting a different goal.
Donald was jumping in the air swinging his stick around, trying to hit anything.
But the balls were all hitting his head instead.
This all ended when Della threw one final dodgeball into Donald’s stomach sending him outside of the sumo ring.
“YES!!! I win again Donald! Now you have to do anything I say!”
Download slowly stood up, he rubbed his bruises and scrapes while cursing under his breath just loud enough that anyone could hear him.
“..why..you no good...if I get my hands….”
At this point, this scene was nothing new to the old duck.
The two would have the same interactions each day, where Della would drag Donald around for what she considered fun.
Donald would complain the whole time but strangely he would never resist.

Della was gloating on top of the stairs and looking down on Donald.
She didn’t notice the ping pong ball under her feet, Della slipped on the ball and almost fell off the stairs.
Just as Scrooge was about to run to catch her, Donald was already there.
He moved at speed he never saw the lad run before.
Della fell into his arms as they crashed into the ground.
“Della!! Are you okay!!”
Della was spread eagled on Donald, his arms wrapped around her, Della’s face was pushed into Donald’s chest.
This was only for a second, yet it felt so much longer than that.
Donald held Della up, looking for anything that looks broken.
“I’m fine I’m fine!! I fell off taller things!!”
“Show me your legs! Did you break anything!”
“Stop touching me!!”
Della was quickly trying to get out of his embrace, her cheeks were slightly pink.
Scrooge decided this was a good time to put his plan into action.
He cleared his throat.
“ahem”
Donald and Della Turned to him, after realizing what piston they were in, they quickly stood up while making some space between them.
“Are you two hooligans done making a mess of my mansion?”
Dell racked her brain to come up with an excuse.
“Uncle scrooge we-”
Donald didn’t even hesitate to point a finger at Della.
“IT WAS DELLA’S IDEA!”
Della looked at him as if he was dead to her.
“YOU SNITCH!”
“Now now! I don’t care whose idea it was!! You two will be cleaning up this mess in the morning! Now go to sleep!”
The twins grumbled as they made their way to their rooms.
Donald walked to his room with his hands in his pockets.
At least now he could get some alone time, after a long time of asking and doing whatever Scrooge said, Donald finally got his own room, he was really happy about it but strangely enough, Della was completely against the idea.
Donald could never forget her face when he took his stuff out of their room, she was so overdramatic! It wasn’t like they would never see each other again.
But in the end, it was worth it! No more being woken up in the middle of the night, no more pranks, and no more of Della sneaking into his bed!
Donald made his way to the door, he wanted nothing more than to throw himself at his bed and sleep right then and there!
He flung the door open and jumped in!
WAK!!
Right into a wooden crate!
Donald pulled back, waving away the birds circling his face.
What he saw shocked him! His room was filled with wooden crates!!
Was this a prank!!
Donald ran to get his answers only to be met with his uncle.
He quickly explained the situation to him.
“Uncle Scrooge! My room is filled with-”
“Wooden crates, I know, I’m the one who put them there.”
“WHAT?!?!”
Donald couldn’t believe what he was hearing!
“I needed some extra storage space! And I’ll be in the cold dead ground before I pay some company to keep MY things!!”
Donald very much considered putting Scrooge in the cold dead ground.
“You said I could have my own room!!”
Donald shuddered when he thought of all the things he had to do to get it!
“Stop complaining! It’s only for tonight!”
Donald sighed.
Well, Donald could just take another room.
Donald opened a door to the room next to him, the room which was supposed to be a guest room.
Was filled with kitchen appliances.
Donald very slowly turned his head to Scrooge.
Scrooge just smiled.
“Oh did I forget to mention! Every room in this mansion is being used”
Donald was angry, the fact that he didn’t blow his top until now was already a miracle.
“WHERE AM I GOING TO SLEEP THEN!!!!”
“You can sleep with me”
A voice cut through.
It was Della, she was peeking through her door.
“Oooh! Noo! I’ll just sleep in the living room!”
“Come on Donald!! It’s been so long!! Let’s have a slumber party!”
Della came out and wrapped her hands on Donalds’ arm.
“Come on!”
Donald tried to run but Della pulled him into her room
Scrooge smiled when he saw this, his plan was going smoothly, only one last step.
Scrooge yelled at them.
“Remember to take a bath before sleeping!”
“Yes uncle Scrooge”
“Yes uncle Scrooge”


Donald was forced to wait as Della bathed herself.
HE stat down on the bed, there was only one bed in this room so that meant someone had to sleep on the floor.
Donald started of thinking of way to get the bed while waiting for Della.
Donald was notorious for his long baths so Della always made sure she would go first.
“Hrumpf! So what if I take long baths! What’s wrong with that! It’s important to stay clean!!”
While Donald was talking to himself Della was just finishing up.
She got out of the bathtub and wrapped herself with a towel.
She made her way to her closet while thinking about all the things she would do to Donald while he was asleep.
She couldn’t help but let out a giggle.
She opens up her closet to take out her pajam-
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!”
Della screamed.
Donald quickly ran to her.
“What!?!? What is it!?! Is it a ghost!!!”
Donald was fully ready to run away if the answer to that question was yes.
“My clothes!!!”
Della pointed at her closet.
Donald was now very aware of what was going on, his eyes very slowly went to Della, her body only covered in a towel, her feathers wet…..
Donald looked away fast, his face beet red.
His eyes instead looked into the closet.
“What’s this?”
Donald picked up a note left behind.
“It’s from Duckworth!”
“Let me see!”
Della snatches the note from Donald.
“Dear Della, I have found an infestation of bugs in your clothes, as such they must all be cleaned……….that’s strange I don’t remember seeing any”
“That sounds about right! You never notice anything Dumbella!”
“What did you say!!”
“You heard me!”

This of course led to a fight between the twins.
It was just the usual pushing.
But it seems Donald was just too frustrated that day.
He pushed Della just a bit too hard causing her towel to fall.
It took a few seconds for Della to register what happened.
It was enough to have the image burned into Donald’s brain.
Donald’s eyes almost popped out of his head.
He tried to squeeze out a sorry before he was hit on the head.
After shaking off his concussion and taking a longer than usual bath even for Donald standards.
He walked into the room while drying off.
Della was on the bed, she was wearing a shirt she borrowed for Donald but no pants.
Donald without even thinking took some extra pillows and a blanket and laid it down on the floor.
He then got under the blanket and closed his eyes.
He justed wanted to sleep and forget about today...forget about Della’s-
“What are you doing?”
Della asked him looking down on him from the bed.
Donald didn’t open his eyes.
“I’m trying to sleep”
“Why are you sleeping on the floor?”
“Where else would I sleep?”
While Donald did consider taking the bed and making Della sleep on the floor, he wasn’t heartless enough.
“With me of course!! Let’s sleep together like we used to!”
Della pulled Donald up to the bed.
“No!!”
He tried to get out of the bed but it was too late, the soft bed had already claimed him, he couldn’t go back to the floor after this.
“Ok......just this one time, AND YOU’RE NOT ALLOWED TO TELL ANYONE OKAY!!!”
“Yes yes!!”
Donald rolled on his side and tried to go to sleep.
Just as he was about to doze off he felt something on his back.
Something very soft.
He looked back to see Della hugging him.
“Della! Let go of me!!”
But it was too late, Della was already asleep and she wouldn’t wake up.
Donald tried to sleep but he just couldn’t, the feeling on his back.
Her legs locked around him.
Della was only wearing a shirt and she just took a bath.
Donald’s eyes were wide open.
Della was all he could think about.
He was feeling strange…………..
Donald wouldn’t sleep that night and after that day, he felt as if something was different between him and Della.
He would soon find out.
