  1. Covet: Kelsey had gotten Connor tucked in and was making her way out of her room to walk down the hall. She pushed her glasses up on her nose and walked over to where her laptop was and went back to typing up the essay she was working on. She bit the inside of her cheek doing her best to keep to herself because she didn't want to talk about last night at all.
  2. Alexithymiaa: -Brad was seated at the table trying to get his own work done at the moment, but he was feeling a little irritated about last night. Half because Kelsey was pretty quick to throw him under the bus to her parents, and half because Connor was airing their business out even if he didnt know better. He hadnt had any intention of bringing it up to Connor, especially not before talking to Kelsey about why he was a little annoyed with her. When she returned from putting Connor to bed, he glanced up over the top of his computer, just watching her. Waiting for her to say something.-
  3. Covet: Kelsey was just typing away, noticing in her upper periphreals that Brad was looking at her, and doing her best to ignore that he was staring her down. She brought her fingers up to push her glasses up again and that kind of helped hide him.
  4. Alexithymiaa: -Noticing that she was clearly avoiding him, he pushed his finger into the top of his computer to shut the top, piking his fingers together in front of his mouth and continuing to stare at her, but more obviously. "I never see you wearing glasses."-
  5. Covet: "I've had a headache, I do wear them from time to time." She said to him still not looking up.
  6. Alexithymiaa: "Uhuh..." He started, just trying to get her attention at this point. "Are you writing a novel with the deadline tomorrow?" He asked a little sarcastically, watching her. "Because I can't imagine any other reason you would be so interested in what you're doing."-
  7. Covet: "Maybe I'm just focused on what I'm doing." She told him "Is that a problem?"
  8. Alexithymiaa: "A little, yeah." He paused before extending his hand out to push the top of her computer closed as well. "Were you going to talk to me about what the hell went on last night?"-
  9. Covet: Kelsey sighed and pulled her glasses off rubbing her eyes. "No, not really, but it seems like you want me to." She said shortly and curtly
  10. Alexithymiaa: "Uh... yeah? Your mom asked you one question and you instantly threw me under the bus. What the hell was that?" He asked with furrowed brows, watching her intently.-
  11. Covet: "It wasn't my fault... entirely." She said pushing her hands up her face as she opened her eyes. "When she does her mom thing, I panic... and It's been so long since I've been around it that I caved."
  12. Alexithymiaa: -He just stared at her completely unamused, sitting in silence for a moment. "So it's okay for me to defend you and try to keep some semblance of privacy from your parents, but the moment she asks you, you just sell me out?"-
  13. Covet: "I appreciate you defending me and not selling me out...Because neither of them can know about what I did." Kelsey said. "And I'm sorry that I sold you out, but you don't get it because she's not your mom. She gets that tone and that look and it posses my soul to get the words she wants out."
  14. Covet: [Dramatic much Kelsey?]
  15. Alexithymiaa: "Is that supposed to make me feel better?' He asked through narrowed eyes. "Regardless of the situation, you dropped me like a bag of bricks for her to plow over."-
  16. Covet: "I know... It was awful of me to do. I get it." Kelsey said leaning forward on her laptop. "I'm sorry I panicked."
  17. Alexithymiaa: "Well the cats out of the bag now, we can't exactly take it back." He said, tossing his hands into the air. "What are we supposed to do?"-
  18. Covet: "What do you mean, what are we supposed to do?" She asked him. " We told her enough that she will let it go and hopefully forget about it. So long as she doesn't get you to crack at all. And Connor doesn't know about it either."
  19. Alexithymiaa: "I really don't think she's going to let up, but whatever you say." He said, not really banking on that and panicking a bit inside. "It's not me cracking that I'm worried about."-
  20. Covet: "Well I just won't talk to her for a while then." Kelsey said like it was no big deal.
  21. Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, okay." He rolled his eyes, opening his computer again. "And how long do you think that's going to last?"-
  22. Covet: "I don't know!" Kelsey said slamming her hands down. "I don't know what to do , or how it's going to all work out. Okay. We can deal with it when it happens."
  23. Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, because that's worked out so well for us up until this point. If you dont have a plan in the moment, you crack. And apparently just blame me for everything so if you don't mind, I'd like to know how this is going to go so at least I can be prepared."-
  24. Covet: "Well since your'e the one who wants a plan, what are your ideas?" She asked him.
  25. Alexithymiaa: "I'm not the one hell bent on hiding my mistakes. I think that's more of your responsibility if you're so dead set on your parents knowing what really happened."-
  26. Covet: "No, I don't want them to know. They already have a specific outlook and expectation of me, and that slip up goes against both of those things. Hence the whole reason for hiding it, amongst the other ones for why everyone else doesn't know."
  27. Alexithymiaa: "I get why you think the whole world shouldn't know, but at this point in the game now that you've kicked it and things are better? I think if you want to keep your relationship with them, that you're going to need to be honest eventually. And then all the lies are just going to come back to bite you in the ass."-
  28. Covet: "It's not like I'm telling them something else happened then what actually did. They don't need to know all the things in my life. If I have to be honest about the cocaine issue, then don't I have to be honest about our sexlife and everythinge else we get up to?" She argued.
  29. Alexithymiaa: "It's not really the same. Our sex lives aren't illegal or harmful to our bodies. The coke really can't argue either of those points. And it's not like your parents would want to hear about our sex lives even if we weren't open."-
  30. Covet: "Okay then they don't need to know about this because it's no longer an issue." She said standing firm on her decision.
  31. Alexithymiaa: "Haven't you told me that a lie by omission is still a lie?" He asked, raising his brows at her.-
  32. Covet: "Yeah, well this is a situation that falls outside of that rule." She said trying to justify it.
  33. Alexithymiaa: "Okay Kelsey." He said, sort of just sighing and giving up on this little discussion. "Why don't you stay out here and finish up your novel, and I'm going to go to bed so I can check on Evan in the morning before I have to do any shit. Sound good? Good." He grabbed his computer off the table, tucking it under his arm and pivoting quickly, walking away from her.-
  34. Covet: Kelsey watched him and pulled her laptop back open but no longer was focused on writing so she shut it and went to her own dorm room for the night.
