In so much to tell you, the shawshank redemption and mean girls all 3 stories convey the individual struggle within society in a similiar although unique way. Toward the end of all stories, despite their struggles, they all have a positive and relatively happy ending.

In so much to tell you the main character's (marina) parents are fighting and her father attempts to throw acid at her mother but misses and it strikes marina in the face instead, leaving her with bad burns. He then goes to jail and loses contact with both Marina and her mother.

In shawshank redemption red makes a bet with his fellow convicts on which new arrival will breakdown first, cry, moan and want to leave. Red places his bet on Andy dufrane for a packet of cigarettes, although andy doesn't say a word. He was described by the judge at his trial as "Icy and Remorseless".

In mean girls cady heron has just moved from Africa. All of her life she had been home schooled by her parents who were Zoologists and had been travelling around the world for their work. Her parents eventually settle down in America where Cady is now a teenager and is about to goto her first Public Highschool.

Because of marinas suvere burns to her face she had changed a lot, and has lost the courage to speak. Her mum decides to send her to a boarding school because she is literally sick of her silence.

Andy sees that Red is a man that can get things in the prison. He asks him to get him a Rock Hammer. Reds first intention was that Andy was going to kill somebody with it until Andy explained he was going to make a chess board seeing as he has all the time in the world. As the film progresses Andy gets quite a collection of large posters of girls around his cell that he had gotten from Red.

Cady heron becomes friends with the plastics and starts hanging out with them instead if her true friends and the outcome is Cady becoming somebody she isn't and losing her true friends for the more popular girls.

Marina catches up with her dad in jail and forgives him?

Andy had been digging s hole through the prison wall for 20 years and finall made it to the other side. The warden discovers Andy has been covering the hole with the poster that red gave him and by the time he relaises Andy has already escaped. The end scence shows Andy and red after they are both out of the jail standing on the beach together, the blue ocean shows that they are free and are no lo
*nger stuck inside the jail

At the spring fling dance cady is elected spring fling queen and gives a speech to her class that her victory is meaningless and that the victory belongs to everyone she breaks her tiara and gives a piece tk her fellow class mates

Therefore all 3 texts have shown the journey made by the main characters, their struggles have resluted in the triumph of justice. Peace is finally achieved. The composers have shown this through narrative and film technique
