Alexithymiaa: -Noah sat out on the back wooden swing in the yard, his arm draped over the back of it as he stared at the river that was rushing by. He'd been feeling a little down after being scolded by his professor last week for skipping class so much, and it was starting to settle in that he wasn't exactly doing as well academically as his parents wanted him to and the shit was going to hit the fan eventually.-
Covet: Tae came to a screeching hald, parking outside in the driveway , slamming her door as she climed out with her bag over her shoulder. She did the same with the front door as she came into the house and went to her room to throw her bag into her room. Clearly she was in a mood, she could hear her phone going off incessantly and stormed off out of her room, looking to see if Noah was in his room at all, She called out for him as she walked down the hall.
Alexithymiaa: -He vaguely heard sounds coming from inside the house since she was so fucking loud, turning his head to look in that direction with furrowed brows. He couldn't exactly tell who it was in the house since he was so far away, sitting up a little straighter before finally climbing to his feet, taking his sweet time wandering back toward the house to investigate.-
Covet: "Of course he'd be nowhere to be found..." Tae grumbled and stormed back down the hallway into her room. She shoved her bag off the foot of her bed, phone and all and turned on her bluetooth speaker blasting some angry Japanese band, then started to find something else to wear.
Alexithymiaa: -Reaching the patio stairs, he climbed up to the second floor, letting himself into the living room and instantly hearing her loud music coming from her bedroom. Wandering in that direction, he stopped in her doorway, giving a knock that was definitely not audible over her music. When he realized this, he let out a deep breath, practically screaming. "HEY!"-
Covet: "Finally... Did you say anything to anyone?" She asked him crossing her arms. "About.. you know... Us?" she reached over and turned her music off for a second. She didn't look one bit happy at all.
Alexithymiaa: -He instantly made shifty eyes because he'd definitely bragged about 'the hot asian chick he's hooking up with' to the hockey team, but had never actually mentioned her by name or given real clues. "Uh... no? Why?" He asked, trying to look as casual as humanly possible.-
Covet: "Dammit Noah..." She said shaking her head as she caught his eyes doing the shifty thing. " Because somehow it got back to Drew and now he's blowing up on me." Tae said then turned away from him. "Did you not understand me when I said if it gets out someone's going to get hurt?"
Alexithymiaa: "I didn't tell anyone!" He said defensively, crossing his arms over his chest. "I literally told like two people that I had found someone hot to hook up with, but I never said it was you. I'm not an idiot." Even though you obviously are.-
Covet: Tae shifted uneasily turning back around. "The only other person that would have said anything is Adam, and him and Drew aren't exactly talk on a regular basis, if at all, so It couldn't have been him.... Have you seen anyone hanging around at all? Or weird cars?"
Alexithymiaa: "I mean, it probably was Adam because the dude hates me and would do anything to get me to leave you alone so..." He trailed off, trying to shift the blame onto Adam. "What? I don't know, I don't know what anyone drives or anyone here. Everyone looks weird to me."-
Covet: "Yeah but Adam doesn't hate me, so I don't think he'd do me like that." Tae put her head in her hands and grumbled. "You're so not helpful right now...We've got to be a bit more careful, I'm serious... Drew's not exactly above doing bad shit."
Alexithymiaa: (This excites me.)
Alexithymiaa: -He rolled his eyes, shifting his weight so he could lean against the frame of her doorway. "Well what else am I supposed to say? i really don't know that many people yet so I wouldn't even know what this guy looks like. Or his friends." He said quickly. "Bad shit? I'm not afraid of him."-
Covet: "You should be... because it's not like minro bad stuff, I mean... You could end up in the hospital.. for a long time.. or.. worse." Tae said, biting the inside of her cheek. "Just pay attention to the people around you.. because if Drew knows, he's going to show up to find out for himself."
Alexithymiaa: "You're being kind of dramatic." Noah said, brushing off her warnings because he doesnt realize how crazy Drew is. "Call me crazy, but if you're cheating on the dude, maybe you should just break up with him."-
Covet: "I'm not being dramatic, not even a little bit. If anything I'm underestimating him." Tae said glaring at Noah, because he didn't know. "I've.. tried.. You know what... It's not as easy as you're making it out to be, okay. I told you it's complicated."
Alexithymiaa: "You've tried?" He asked her, clear judgement in his voice. "What does that mean? You tell someone you want to break up, and you do it. I don't understand how you can try and fail at that."-
Covet: "Yes, I've tried. I've told him that we can't be together, but he doesn't let me. Just.. Nevermind... I'm just warning you. Okay." Tae said as she laid down on her bed and rolled over.
Alexithymiaa: "He doesnt let you?" He repeated, sounding like a parrot at this point. "It's not really up to him if he doesn't want to break up. Sometimes both people don't want to break up, but a relationship is two people making decisions, not one." He said, staring at her. "He sounds like an asshole."-
Covet: "I mean.. you're not wrong... but.. that's kind of my type..." Tae said softly, then looked over her shoulder at him. " Just be careful please. I'd feel bad if something happened to you..."
Alexithymiaa: "Ha ha, very funny." He said, shifting forward into her room and moving to sit on the edge of her bed. "Nothing bad is going to happen to me. If anything, something bad is going to happen to him if he tries anything stupid."-
Covet: Tae just sighed and did her best to ignore him, because you're an idiot Noah. "Are you staying in here?"
Alexithymiaa: -He thought for a moment before nodding his head, kicking his shoes off and pulling his hoodie over his head. "Yeah, I think so. Why not? Fuck Drew." He said a little triumphantly, lying down next to her.-
Covet: "Okay." Tae said as she shimmied out of her shorts, leaving her hoodie and her underwear on as she shifted over to the wall. She was just thinking to herself now, about all the things that Drew could do to them both.
