Entry: Outburst

Father had another outburst again.
He hurt me.. we haven't handled her death well.
I know he takes it out on me. Blames me.
And he does some bad things sometimes.
But I know he loves me.

Entry: Shadows

I think my father sees the same shadows I see.
Like me, he's.. haunted by death.
Why else would he tremble as he does?
I know they're just pieces of my avid imagination.. the shadows.
The .. things I can't describe.
But I can't help but be scared.
Everyone I loved has seemed to disappear.
And they're always there watching from a distance.

Entry: Sorry

My father told me he loves me. And my sister.
And that he's sorry. It's strange for him to say these things..
and to bring up rose. Why would he bring up rose? I know he's sorry.
I'm sorry too. Death is a disease and we're all very sick. But we have each other.
And we'll battle our problems together.

Entry: Why he left me

I haven't written for awhile.
I don't know what I did wrong
Or why he left me.
I can't take this anymore.


Entry: All a blur

They're still there. Watching.
When I'm completely awake, or in my wildest dreams.
I know they're not.. real. Because other people don't see them.
But what is reality when my nightmares are so clear?
It's all a blur. How do I tell the difference anymore?

Entry: Uncle Kevan

Uncle Kevan came to watch after me for now. It's been a month but it still feels like yesterday.
I've been having strange dreams again .. only .. they don't feel like dreams.
They seem to distort reality. They give me headaches unlike anything I've ever felt.


Entry: Terrified

I'm terrified to sleep again. But I know there's no way out but through.
There must be a reason..

Entry: What would happen

What would happen if I were to die in this dream?
I can no longer tell these figures from figments of my mind..
dreams, from the absolute.
Even when I'm here, and safe, I'm trapped in a nightmare.




Dad Death:

Dad.. dad.. no.. please wake up. Dad, please wake up!
Dad!
Why would you do this?
Please!
I need you.


First Forest Scene:

Waking up in the Forest:

"No, no, no.. not another dream."
"Where .. am I? It's so cold.."

First encounter:

"Wh.. what do you want?"
"I need to find help."

Approaching house:

"This looks like the house dad grew up in. He showed me a picture once."


First Boy encounter in the house:

"Hi.. um.."
Boy(whispering): "You shouldn't be here.."
*Boy runs upstairs*

"Wait! I.. I'm lost! I don't know where I am, there's something outside!
Please!"


Entry:

"Dad never talked much about his childhood or where he grew up .. or about his little sister.
But I know it bothered him. Haunted  him even .. like my insomnia and the headaches.
And I can see why.. this place is strange. It's like the walls are .. watching me."


Approaching basement:

"Something awful happened here. I can .. smell it. Literally"
