- ⓘ <Igel> capitalism is stupi
- NewChatte
- I was walking in the woods and came across a shed.
- Inside that shed I found this channel.
- fierygt
- good for you
- NewChatte
- fierygt: Want to hear a surprising truth?
- You're not ready for it.
- fierygt
- truth can be manipulated. fact...can not.
- NewChatte
- I'm one of the smartest humans you've ever met but you're moderately high intelligence is insufficient to fully draw out my brilliance.
- fierygt
- except that, i've never met you.
- NewChatte
- Prediction: You're respond with some childhood heuristic.
- It depends on the definition of 'meet'.
- My definition, in this context, is 'had some interaction with that person's mind, in real time'
- This is a post-internet definition of meet -- recognizing that a lot of human interaction is digital and not face-to-face.
- You'll respond*
- fierygt: Do you enjoy analyzing the meaning of art?
- Say, in a semi-formal manner.
- fierygt
- oh, who doesn't!
- NewChatte
- I am interested in your perspective on the meaning of this song and video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYlNjQ5TTF4

- Enigma - Amen - YouTube
- NewChatte
- I've been thinking about it for about ten days.
- There is a lot of symbolism that seems hard to precisely explain.
- For example, she holds two spheres in her hands with some visible symbols.
- What is the meaning of those spheres?
- Also, there's that sphere in orbit that looks like a moon with a smaller black sphere between it and our perspective.
- Is that related to the two spheres in her hands?
- What is she?
- Is she a non-human goddess?
- Is she the manifestation of humanity?
- She appears to be observing humanity.
- What does her torch represent?
- Hope?
- Awareness?
- fierygt
- her torch represents a joint.
- NewChatte
- It's sort of snowing.
- What does that mean?
- A loss of hope?
- Is it ash?
- fierygt
- the snow represents frozen water.
- NewChatte
- See, you're dumb.
- And that's not my preference.
- (You're not really dumb)
- Your IQ is about 125.
- fierygt
- no. i just don't care about this that much.
- NewChatte
- But you aren't that inquisitive compared to me.
- I think you're much, much more inquisitive than most humans you engage.
- But you give up pretty easily, I've noticed.
- fierygt
- why? because i don't want to bother with an 'enigma' song, right now?
- NewChatte
- You get mentally fatigued in debate.
- fierygt
- ok
- NewChatte
- Because I have previously observed your mind.
- Did you see the video?
- I have saved several conversations I've had with you.
- fierygt
- good for you. coincidentally, i have them saved, too.
- NewChatte
- You answered the second question first.
- Indicating it was more emotionally salient for you.
- Perhaps you perceived it as a claim by men to have power over you.
- Which you negated by signaling you, too, have these conversations.
- This is what dumb minds do.
- Smart minds just learn when there is the opportunity to learn.
- by me*
- Ignoring fierygt!*@*
- NewChatte
- Anyways, I put you on ignore.
- You have a pretty robust pattern of responding poorly to being directly challenged.
- You tend to immediately, and relatively intensely, going into ego-defense mode.
- Again, and this is what humans look like at IQ 125-130.
- Our species may be doomed.

- fieryUSA is terrible at debate - Pastebin.com
- NewChatte
- This is from a long time ago. I believe you repeatedly engaged in fallacies when your knowledge frontier was surpassed.
- I'll give you one compliment.
- You do not typically get very aggressive in assigning ill-intent to your chat partners when you lose control of the debate.
- Which is pretty standard behavior at IQ 100 and below.
- So, thank you for that.
- How do people at IQ 150 respond to being personally challenged?
- To contrast it with 125 and 100.
- 'What evidence do you have of your claim?'
- Followed by evidence evaluation along with synthesis into existing worldview.
- Then, possible update of beliefs.
- If the other is detected to be smarter, that person is accepted in that role.
- There is no defense of self.
- NewChatte
- I've been reading about Buddhist solipsism, lately.
- Here's a thought I had:
- It makes sense, as one model, to frame Western philosophy using a linear progression similar to the Roman Catholic Church's ecumenical councils.
- That is, different sects of Christianity sort of fall off from the RCC's ideology evolution at each of the ~20 ecumenical councils.
- I think that solipsism is often received pretty negatively by many Western thinkers.
- Here is why I think that is:
- Solipsism is a pretty coherent interpretation of the subjective experiences of a human mind.
- It's not clear it is possible to use the 2500 years of Western philosophy and science to refute solipsism.
- So, in the ecumenical council model, solipsism probably exits at the first council (Nicea)

- Catholic Ecumenical Councils - Wikipedia ( http://tinyurl.com/zgrhgg9 )
- NewChatte
- This leads to very deep, long-lasting, and potentially irreconcilable differences with solipsism and the Big Bang-theory of evolution-brains as intragenerational data storage devices-mind as a simulation-predicting engine narrative that seems to represent the contemporary metaphysical worldview.
- Sometimes when I free-write, as I am currently doing, people will Google my posts because they assume I'm copying and pasting them.
- When they find out I am not they are surprised and do not update their beliefs nor present that contradictory evidence.
- I wonder what it's like to have an IQ of 175.
- There aren't many of those beings.
- What errors in my thinking do they observer?
- observe*
- NewChatte
- This is what it looks like when a person is very smart, fierygt, and doesn't spend their cognitive resources defending their ego.
- I suggest you mimic this behavior.
- @_OldSchoo
- One of them would probably your obsession with a questionable metric
- *be
- NewChatte
- IQ is probably the single most predictive metric of cognitive function that currently exists in science.
- Can you think of one better?
- Prediction: You won't have any followup and your initial post will be revealed to be social-leveling intelligent-designed to be an attempt to engage in psychometrics.
- Ignoring _OldSchoo!*@*
- NewChatte
- I put you on ignore, _OldSchoo.
- Reason: You think intelligent-designified arguments masquerading and science and/or philosophy are legitimate human actions.
- But, they are not.
- For they do not develop the individual, nor build robust nation states.
- as science*
- I have exhausted the cognitive 'resources' of this channel.
