  1. [19:31] {NARRATION} Creek...
  2.
  3. Slowly the door would begin to creek open, gradually giving a path for these children to move forwards.
  4.
  5. Those cries and screams had all seemed silent now, no crabs stood upon the other side waiting for them.
  6.
  7. The air had grown still, all the children needed to do now was...
  8.
  9. Take that final stride into the next room, where a massive opening could clearly be seen.
  10. [19:34] Since she had been the one to input the correct number, that sets her up the closest to the door when it opens.
  11.
  12. Which, of course, means Aurora probably bullrushes her way in first.
  13.
  14. If she can take the initiative, though, the flame-wreathed Summerling would bend down, and toss a rock through the ominous portal that she had just opened.
  15.
  16. She doesn't really want to go in there. It's kind of scary. So...it's probably worth checking to see if something is on the other side.
  17. (Alesia Elisheva)
  18. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  19.
  20. [19:34] The luminosity of Aurora's cosmic magic shined brighter as the door began to open slowly- revealing the empty room that it had kept closed for so long. Any voices that might have originated from here? They were also silent now. She couldn't even hear the snap of the crabs' pincers...
  21.
  22. What could this mean?
  23.
  24. Who knows, really. She'd already proved she isn't the brightest in the group. Stepping inside, she intended to find out in the most natural of ways-
  25.
  26. By being surprised.
  27. (Aurora Elisheva)
  28. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  29.
  30. [19:35] "Aurora, next time, I'll put in the numbers if there's something dangerous, okay? Once is enough for spooky pinching crabs!"
  31.
  32. Lips push out into a small pout as she watches the door creek open to reveal... a large opening. Was the King of Crabs inside? Would it drop down on their heads?
  33.
  34. Glancing among those there, she would draw in a careful breath. Oh dear. Stepping forward, she would give a push of fire to illuminate the area around, eyes moving around.
  35.
  36. ...Weeeellll, that is until Aurora pushes forward inside.
  37.
  38. guh.
  39. (Thalia Elisheva)
  40. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  41.
  42. [19:36] Grinning from ear to ear the Kang watches as the door creaks open. Yet the air grew eerie, the screams and rushing waters all but silent.
  43.
  44. It was beyond this, wasn't it? Probably not. It was probably the king crab's trust knights, outfitted with metal claws and shells from the best crab blacksmiths in Crabtopia.
  45.
  46. With his heart still beating in his ears, the staff held in a white-knuckled grip, he'd step forth towards the odd opening. Following his family onward into the brink.
  47.
  48. Oh, hey, there goes Aurora doing Aurora things.
  49. (Sima Kang)
  50. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  51.
  52. [19:36] Creepy..
  53.
  54. Just as the door opened, the screaming stopped. There's no crabs, there's no.. Well, there's no nothing.
  55.
  56. Clearing his throat rather loudly, the boy glanced between the rest of his group. Seeing as they were tossing rocks, the Dryad reached down. Picking one up for himself, only to toss it down the ha--.. Wait, no.
  57.
  58. Seeing as Aurora was stepping forwards, the Dryad dropped his rock. Only to shuffle after her, seeing what's on the other side for himself.
  59. (Ilui Elisheva)
  60. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  61.
  62. [19:39] {NARRATION} Horror.
  63.
  64. Nature had overtaken this portion of the cavern as vines hung from the ceiling with moss glossed over most every stone.
  65.
  66. Such, however would hopefully be of little concern to those which had stepped forth.
  67.
  68. Spread out upon a stone table was hundreds of body parts, heads of those severed and limbs all being plucked up by this massive crowned crustacean which now sat before the group.
  69.
  70. Feasting away on this endless mass of food, pinching the ends of a human arm to push that filling right into the crabs mouth.
  71.
  72. This, this was where those which had fallen victim to this caverns horrors would end up.
  73.
  74. As a Mukbang for this King of Crabs.
  75.
  76. Those beedy black eyes settled upon the group just as they entered, claws idly clicking and tapping away as the creature only watched...
  77.
  78. Waiting to see the groups next move.
  79. [19:42] Her hand lifts upwards to her mouth, and there's another horror witnessed here and now. From people dying, to burning alive, to suffering creatures, and more... She did not expect to see a gigantic crab quite literally devouring dismembered pieces of people all around.
  80.
  81. Clamping her hand around her mouth, there's a distinct whimpering that leaves her as her eyes widened in that utter horror. Thankfully, she hadn't puked, she was able to hold onto the contents of her stomach in the wake of such a thing.
  82.
  83. This was... Awful.
  84.
  85. Irredeemable.
  86.
  87. A sight among sights, something that she never wished she had witnessed before.
  88.
  89. But here it was, right before them. Even if she can keep her stomach from rolling out of her mouth, she can't stop the tears that well up and fall down along her face.
  90.
  91. ...The Crab King had to go.
  92. (Thalia Elisheva)
  93. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  94.
  95. [19:43] * You have been awarded 4 Roleplay Points! *
  96. [19:45] Okay, that's gross.
  97.
  98. After venturing into the cavern, the boy's attention was drawn to the overgrown flora and fauna within, only for his gaze to drift down. Catching sight of the giant King of Crabs, sitting and feasting on the limbs of those who dared enter its caves. Crinkling up his nose, a single hand raised to pinch at it, blocking the stench of the bodies from getting to him.
  99.
  100. ".. That's really gross."
  101.
  102. .. Yet, despite his words, a bit of anger started to swell up within the youth. It reminded him of something else, something back there at the orphanage. It's similar to what was going on there, after all.
  103.
  104. With his brow furrowing, the boy's hand grasped tightly around his shimmering staff. Readying himself for the fight to come.
  105.
  106. Readying himself to kill the King of Crabs.
  107. (Ilui Elisheva)
  108. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  109.
  110. [19:45] A massive crab with a crown. That's all they came here for. No horror, no death, no... People being butchered alive.
  111.
  112. Apparently, that was not good enough for Kang shore.
  113. It was clear that this part of the cavern was riddled with vines and plants that grew from seemingly any crack within the walls. Yet, there wasn't a scent of nature inside– it had been plagued by the scent of death. Of blood. Aurora's attention is stolen by the figure of the large crab, but as soon as her gaze dips slightly down, she sees it.
  114.
  115. The mukbang. The man the crustacean had been feasting on. Piles of dead bodies and human flesh that seemed to reach no end. At least in her mind.
  116.
  117. Tears began to leak from the corners of her eyes, but not a single word is uttered. A mix of fear and shock takes over her mind, denying her the chance to speak.
  118.
  119. Her staff is taken by the pair of her arms, gripped onto tightly now. This wasn't something they could ignore. This was beyond just a crown.
  120. (Aurora Elisheva)
  121. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  122.
  123. [19:46] Vines. Neat! Honestly, the clearing would've been a splendid little sight if not for the CRAB and its FEAST OF BODY PARTS.
  124.
  125. This was a nightmare. This was no ordinary mukbang for his family as he watched the king crustacean feast upon human body parts. With eyes the size of saucer plates the Kang can only stare for a time at the King of Crabs before...
  126.
  127. "WHAT!?" Just like any other encounter with a giant crab. The world seems to spin about him as an arm is pulled apart, the beady eyes of the king now set on them. He could barely pull his eyes away from this horror.
  128.
  129. Now who was it that said crabs aren't evil?.. Probably someone. He'd remind them after this monstrosity was over with. Gulping back his rising cheese sandwich he'd shake his head.
  130.
  131. The new crab Kang stood beside his family. This wasn't just about stopping the crab-problem in his home. This was war.
  132. (Sima Kang)
  133. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  134.
  135. [19:47] As they came upon the Crab King (Tamatoa)'s layer, the boy is..
  136.
  137. Horrified.
  138.
  139. Terrified.
  140.
  141. .. Lightheaded.
  142.
  143. Percival had always had issues with blood- whether it be fainting from the littlest cut he'd seen, or something far lesser. What he saw now was the worst of his fears. The youngest Kang slowly hobbles over to a wall.
  144.
  145. "That is.... aa...Aaaaaaa...Aaaaaaaa…...h...."
  146.
  147. It takes him a few moments to realize that even the walls were lined with limbs- skulls- other body parts, as he rests his hands on a humerus, or something.
  148.
  149. "..Ah.. AAHHHH...……"
  150.
  151. Percival screams. He feels queasy and the youngest party member begins to throw up. Everywhere.
  152. (Percival Kang)
  153. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  154.
  155. [19:49] Thalia Elisheva whispers something.
  156. [19:51] Unfortunately, as she worried about, her sister barges in first. Well...at least she's consistent?
  157.
  158. Also unfortunately, the rest of the group are forced to follow behind her or risk leaving her to whatever horrible things lay behind the door...
  159.
  160. And...horrible is an understatement to the monstrosity they witness within.
  161.
  162. Their target is found, the King of Crabs...feasting on an entire table of body parts.
  163.
  164. Instantly, the Summerling dryad retches- but nothing comes out. She hadn't much eaten today.
  165.
  166. Steeling herself against the sight...and inevitable smell, once they get closer to the monstrous creature.
  167.
  168. Her fires begin to gather in her hand, along her arms, around her entire body as a fury fills her.
  169.
  170. This creature has killed how many people, to bring this mass of rotting flesh to its table.
  171.
  172. The flame-wreathed dryad is disgusted.
  173.
  174. Whether this is the creatures home or not, this is unacceptable.
  175.
  176. The amount of suffering spirits in here must be limitless...she's going to have to ask Ilui to help with a cleansing, once they've killed the King of Crabs.
  177.
  178. And with that, she steps forward, ready to begin throwing a large array of burning heat at the glutton at the table.
  179. (Alesia Elisheva)
  180. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  181.
  182. [19:51] {NARRATION} Screams.
  183.
  184. Such horror in their eyes mixed with screams would send chills throughout the body of this massive monstrosity.
  185.
  186. One claw quickly rushing forwards towards that puking boy as if not giving a second for the children to even so much as collect themselves.
  187.
  188. The monster would wait for none.
  189.
  190. It's feast would not be cut short by a group of those seeking to claim the crown for themselves.
  191.
  192. Mourning and disgust would have to wait it seems, the group had mere seconds to steel and ready themselves for the heat of battle.
  193.
  194. That...
  195.
  196. Or become victim to this monster once more.
  197. [19:52] And with that claw rushing forward, Thalia would attempt to move forward in hopes to push Percy right out of the way of the offending motion.
  198.
  199. Even if it meant getting hurt herself, she wouldn't stand for someone to be struck by this.
  200.
  201. Especially when they were struggling and puking everywhere.
  202. (Thalia Elisheva)
  203. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  204.
  205. [19:54] "This isn't about the crown anymore, guys!" Her will to speak is rejuvenated when the massive crab sends its claw at Percy, her favorite cousin. "This is about the victims of this... This monster! We're taking IT down!"
  206.
  207. A comet began to charge above Aurora's staff.
  208.
  209. Orange blending in with azure, which bled into a tranquil violet... That swam right next to emerald.
  210.
  211. The shades of the rainbow, all at Aurora's disposal. It was time to bring this crab down!
  212. (Aurora Elisheva)
  213. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  214.
  215. [19:55] As it turns out, having already prepared herself to fight the giant crab monster was the correct action to take, as she's forced into it as the creature begins by attacking Percy.
  216.
  217. While it's focused on Percy, however, she rushes forward to attempt to begin scorching the crab, trails of flame left behind her.
  218.
  219. There was a time where they could have acted with the initiative, but they lost that.
  220.
  221. They might as well strike back in an attempt to reclaim it.
  222. (Alesia Elisheva)
  223. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  224.
  225. [19:55] "..."
  226.
  227. So it's attacking, then. Grabbing for his staff once more, it's given a wave as vines, blooms of flowers, and many other things began to sprout of from the ground. Those vines lashing out, grasping hold of the crab's stubby little legs, hopefully keeping it held down long enough for Percy, and or Thalia to not get hurt.
  228.
  229. Yet it's clear that he's not letting up.
  230.
  231. Nope, he was going in for the kill.
  232. (Ilui Elisheva)
  233. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  234.
  235. [19:57] Percy.
  236.
  237. Not another family member, especially one that close would be getting hurt. Two steps move him forth as he acts against his wobbling legs, slamming a foot down after a twirling jump. Flashes of white roll over the teen's form upon each bound before a winter's gale sends a hail of ice towards the dining king's position.
  238.
  239. For the victims and his family he'd fight his worst fear. With stardust littering his walls of water he'd try and bring its focus towards him. "Stay sharp! D-don't let it snip at you, we can do this!" How pathetic of a cry it was, yet...
  240.
  241. What was a Kang without his people?
  242. (Sima Kang)
  243. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  244.
  245. [19:59] As Percival remains away from the group, vomiting away, the boy even has to take off his hat to use it to catch his vomit. It would be ruined forever, until modern washing machines could catch up.
  246.
  247. He turns as the claw strikes in his direction, and poor, tubby, and sick Percival vomits rotting crab into his hat once more as Thalia pushes him out of the way.
  248.
  249. He clatters to the ground, the boy sliding across the ground as his cousin came to his aid. As he pulls himself to a stand, the boy shuts his eyes.
  250.
  251. There had to be something that he could do. He wasn't very good at learning anything in his Reimara academy courses, as he slept in his father's, didn't take notes in Adsila's, and flunked Beginner's potions.
  252.
  253. But perhaps from Declan's class, there was something to be learned. The Kang draws in a long breath.
  254.
  255. "Right. Right, I can't be baby anymore, I have to be.. Earth mage." He muttered to himself in a low tone. Just as it had in the dungeons, and just as it had when he showed his brother and father, the earth began to rumble gently, and slowly work up to become very violent.
  256.
  257. "I'm not baby anymore.. I'm not baby anymore!" The boy shouted now, as a holy energy begins to shroud his form. The rumbling had reached is peak, and for a moment, it stops.
  258.
  259. "Stop-- Stop HURTING people!" He shouts, reaching an arm forwards. The earth moves with it, his will forming a golden hand that restrains the crab if only for a moment.
  260. (Percival Kang)
  261. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  262.
  263. [20:13] ** Percival Kang has inflicted an injury upon King Crab. ("Permanent Injury", "Permanent Injury", "Permanent", "Severity: MODERATE (-10 Vit)") **
  264. [20:19] {NARRATION} Crash!
  265.
  266. Thalia would be the first to meet the blows of this monstrous King of The Crabs. The claw immediately knocking this girl aside as Percival was pushed to safety, her body sent spiraling into the walls of this cavern.
  267.
  268. Quick as ever to regroup.
  269.
  270. Blows would repeatedly knock aside pieces of this monsters shell, hundreds of crabs all watching from their holes in the distance as their King was slowly being knocked aside.
  271.
  272. By a group of children, no less.
  273.
  274. Piece by piece that armor upon this monster was stripped away, slowly but surely they would continue upon this offense which none could defend against.
  275.
  276. Sima and Percival being crushed under the weight of these claws, slamming down upon each and knocking them into these stone grounds.
  277.
  278. A small crater being left where that blow had struck them, luckily leaving nothing more than superficial injuries.
  279.
  280. Thank goodness Magi were so durable.
  281.
  282. Nonetheless, as their friends were knocked down... Quickly being picked apart it was Thalia to rush forwards ahead of all others.
  283.
  284. Eager and ready to deliver that final blow.
  285. [20:19] {Item} You picked up Crab Crown. Dropped by King Crab. .
  286. [20:26] -- Dishonorable.
  287.
  288. The way that the creature had attacked Percival was something she couldn't forgive. The way that it dined upon the bodies of innocents in the way it had. She might've felt pity for the likes of the smaller ones falling in step with the larger crab, but... She'd fight. She'd fight hard. Her gauntlets burned and she'd send burning tornadoes in the direction of the foul creature, and her wind would cling to it as she watched intently. Sima fell. Percival fell, but...
  289.
  290. Her foot forces against the ground, and she would brave the harsh elements of water intermingled with the occult, and she found fire hot at her heel as she gave a loud battle cry as if to accentuate the weak one that had been given at the beginning. Though she had been cut up, though she had been tearstained... It didn't dull her mission.
  291.
  292. So before the gigantic creature, she'd propel as she forced her fist forward, slamming it into the King's shell to send out a ripping rush of hot, burning wind straight through where the heart was assumed to be.
  293.
  294. Quick, swift.
  295.
  296. Feet forced out in the air, and her burning heels would dig in, aiming to ride and crash the body of the monster down to the ground, letting innards, blood, shell fly around from the harsh impact she aimed to deliver using all of the magical strength that she could muster.
  297.
  298. Standing upon the creature's corpse, she would raise as she gripped her fists tight, soon looking back toward the group.
  299.
  300. There's no words from the battle stained teenager as she tilts her chin upwards, but the look upon her features is clear: Judgment had been delivered here for the King.
  301.
  302. He was dethroned permanently.
  303. (Thalia Elisheva)
  304. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  305.
  306. [20:28] Percival himself didn't have much in the way of power, besides being able to momentarily stop the crab from moving. The King crab was formidable regardless, and Percival is soon slammed into the ground (his ribs! Oh no!)
  307.
  308. It unfortunately puts Percival to the ground, and out of the fight. Regardless, he knew how an earth magi was meant to be now.
  309.
  310. So, the boy did that. He laid there, unmoving like the earth. Because he couldn't move any further.
  311.
  312. As the Crab King is hit with the force of a thousand suns thanks to Thalia, the crown flies off and onto his head in a strange fiasco!
  313.
  314. "Wow.." He remarks- absolutely shocked that his cousin could hit that hard.
  315. (Percival Kang)
  316. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  317.
  318. [20:30] There's no stopping the wrath of Aurora Mukbang Elisheva. She hungers to see the crab's defeat, and nothing will stand in her way now. Nothing, and no one.
  319.
  320. Not even a humongous, terrifying crustacean.
  321.
  322. From her staff, multiple tiny stars and comets are charged, each boasting the energies of more than just a single, particular star. It was never in her blood to be chained to a place or a thing, and when it came to Aurora's magic? It was no different. Some shined brighter, and some were dim in light - but one thing was consistent.
  323.
  324. Their splotches of color were never the same.
  325.
  326. And it even changed how each of them affected the crab's armor. It burned, it felt cold, it struck hard - an array of blows, truly.
  327.
  328. The brunette could almost hear the whispers of the skies, but the voice were faint and quiet... As if not meant to be heard. Even now, when she felt most attuned to her magic - whichever star loomed above to guide and guard the girl remained unresponsive.
  329.
  330. She huffs as the battle reaches its end, not willing to move elsewhere just yet.
  331.
  332. Aurora had to catch her breath.
  333. (Aurora Elisheva)
  334. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  335.
  336. [20:31] .. It's finally over.
  337.
  338. After a long fought battle, they were finally able to pull through. Bringing down the man-eating, crown-wearing, oversized crab that had taken over these caves. And right now, he couldn't feel any happier, just watching as that thing was finally brought to it's end.
  339.
  340. .. Guess that's what she meant about starting to enjoy it.
  341.
  342. Since right now, he didn't want anything more than to see that stupid crab suffer for what it had done. Completely fogetting about the golden crown that fell off it, he focused himself on the actual giant beast instead. Just smiling, his arms moving to fold behind his back.
  343. (Ilui Elisheva)
  344. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  345.
  346. [20:32] This. This was not what he wanted. It's a crazed series of events from sending forth beams of sparkly water within the clearing to the various other magics his family could use.
  347.
  348. Ice continued to freeze upon the crab King's shell, allowing an easier opening for his family to rip through its defenses. Sima dances about the area, gracefully spinning upon spawned patches of ice before unleashing gales of winter out upon his whirling staff.
  349.
  350. Sima's not very swift on his approach, however, as a giant claw comes careening down atop him. Twirling on a patch of ice he gracefully wills forth a block of ice about him - Well, a tad too late. He's battered, beaten even, but he's hanging in there like any other good Kang within the crater.
  351.
  352. Sputtering, coughing, he'd shakily begin to rise to his feet. As Thalia rushes forth to deliver the finishing blow the next crab Kang would await the fallout; The king's crown would stop the red menaces from bothering them, right?
  353.
  354. The kick delivered by Thalia is... Terrifying. He'd make a mental note to never anger them in the future. Stepping forth towards Percival he'd look them over for any injuries. "You alright?" It's practically muttered, gods he was in pain...
  355.
  356. And definitely wasn't grabbing for the crown like the greedy brother he was.
  357. (Sima Kang)
  358. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  359.
  360. [20:32] The flame-wreathed Summerling launched volley after volley of burning flames at the King of Crabs, nimbler footwork than her first encounter with a crab monstrosity being brought to bear.
  361.
  362. It appears the dryad has actually been training.
  363.
  364. She dodges and ducks and weaves out of the way of numerous beams of water, rings of malicious waters, and even manages to avoid the flooding torrents that fill the field of battle. Mostly, at least.
  365.
  366. While she could not do anything to prevent the creature from crushing her cousins into the ground, she can rush over to finish of the King of Crabs...but Thalia beats her to it.
  367.
