I am 17 and I am turning 18 this year, on November 9th. Driver’s license awaits!! Yay! (sorry, got too excited… haha)

What time are you most often on? (EET)
Monday to Friday 6 PM to 11 PM, depending on my work and studies.
Weekends I am online all the time I just can be on.

Are you multilingual (Speak more than one language)?
Yes, I am multilingual. I live in Finland and Finnish is my native language so I speak it fluently. Notice that English is my second language which I am able to speak quite well (“I’m doin’ the best I can!”). I can also speak some Swedish because that is taught in every Finnish school as it is the second official language in our country (some people like, some don’t… but I sure do!).

What comes to helping people with certain languages I am able to help people in English and Finnish without any kind of problems.

When did you first play Minecraft, how often do you play?
I played Minecraft first time one and half years ago but before that I have played occasionally with my friends’ accounts. Nowadays I am playing it whenever I have the time to spend to it which happens to be countless hours every month.

Have you ever been banned or temp banned on another server? I have never been banned / temporarily banned on a server.

What is your previous experience in any type of moderation?
I have been an admin in a decent size server called AeroCraft with 20-30 players online regularly and with over 4000 visited players. It was a creative server and I learned the secrets of maintenancing a server and using many, many handful plugins and commands.

I have also been a Senior Moderator in a server called Arcadia but before that known as BuildCraftia. There has been 70-200 people online regularly and it’s a server with over 100,000 visited players. The server has creative and many, many different kind of mini games.


Where are you most active on the server?
I am really keen on the MVP+ land at the moment and I use most of my time there now. It will possibly change in the near future. My other favorite games are all the TNTgames and also Mega Walls ( Love it, love it, love it! )

How many hours can you contribute per day?
I can surely use many hours on the weekends because I play Minecraft more than anything but on average I would say about 1-3 hours minimum on the weekends. From Monday to Thursday school and work states how much time I can contribute on the server but I would say at least an hour a day.

Are you VIP? If so when did you purchase?At the moment I am MVP+ on the server. I bought that just before Christmas 2013. I bought my VIP rank in the summer of 2013.

What advice would you give someone who had to deal with people younger than them?
You just need to remember that you cannot assume that they are as mature as you might be. You have been at that age as well, you were maybe like they were. They are young and they have a lot of things to learn. Kind language towards youngsters tend to work.
It’s also really important to remember that teens in puberty age tend to test their boundaries. That’s why older authority needs to set the boundaries for them and monitor how they obey them. This is really important to understand!
Younger people tend not to say the problem straight and it is important to make sure what is their specific problem. When you get more experience you are able to notice if something is wrong. Then just ask if they need anything. That way you can ensure that they won’t start a big hassle because nobody helped them.
Even though you are a staff member, remember that are you not the ‘bad guy’ you are supposed to be a role model for the younger. If you are acting bad, they are going to do it as well.
Kids younger than 10 are usually pretty inexperienced with Internet and social situations. Usually one notification for them is enough. And do not forget the friendly, but still stiff language towards players!
Be the friend of the young. If you are always all silent when people greet you, I have bad news for you. Youngsters need to trust you and that’s achieved by talking to them: being with them. There’s no other way around this.
Remember that not everyone has the same backgrounds. People are very different from each other. Different language, country, culture... There is and will be different kind of opinions and every one of them needs to be respected. Nothing racial isn't allowed, though.
Do you use the teamspeak and a microphone?
I rarely use Teamspeak but I don’t think it will be a problem for me. I own a Rode Podcaster microphone which I can use in case I need to use Teamspeak or anything similar.

Are you able to record?Yes, I am able to record full HD video. I have already been reporting hackers by uploading the video on YouTube. I am also making a SMP series on the MVP+ land on YouTube.

How many Hypixel staff applications have you made before?
This is my first application for Helper, numero uno.

Anything else we should know?
This application is getting long... but yes. My real name’s Niko, but people prefer calling me just ‘AZZA’. I live in Finland and I am a photographer. I just love photography as much I love Minecraft. In Minecraft I am more of a builder guy but I love exploring the beautiful world also. I am playing electric bass in a little band and I enjoy signing to people.

I have always been a social kind of person. I love meeting new people and I especially love traveling. I get along with different kind of persons and personalities. I couldn't live without Multiplayer, on any games.

Why would I be a good choice for a Helper?
Helping is something I really like to do. I love helping people with their problems, and in real life I am a cashier in a local market so my social skills with unpleased and also pleased customers (or in this case players) are pretty good. Even though I am funny and I have a good sense of humor, I can (and I will be) be strict with rules and regulations in the server.

I don't get angry easily, which would be a bad thing when working with young players. The way I work is to notify, warn and then act. Seems to be working. My work is not to collect enemies but to create a safer and more enjoyable community.

Making Hypixel server safer, more enjoyable for players is my dream. That’s really what I want to do. That what every staff member wants to do, I hope. I want to help make the Hypixel server better place by moderating the chat and helping the players with their problem, taking care of the troublemakers. For the community, for the server, for the players!

All in all, the goal with any server is to create an awesome gaming experience to the players. Create a safe place where they can use their free time. A place where they can state their opinions almost freely and no one would judge them by the fact where they come from or what kind of background they have.
