  1. Chapter 3
  2.
  3. >”D-dance?”
  4. “Yeah, you and I, outside, now.”
  5. >She hesitates for a moment, before following your suit.
  6. “Come.” You call to her again, as you near the exit.
  7. >The party was held both outdoors and indoors, inside- a quiet gentleman’s talk, while on the outside- a lavish garden party.
  8. >There was a simple melody playing out in the background, setting the atmosphere.
  9. >The garden was blanketed in white, fusing with the evergreen.
  10. >The trees flanked the center, forming borders and into a circle.
  11. >It was snowing lightly, as the two of you walk to the couples gathered there.
  12. >A band near the entrance started to play, as you and Fleur moved to the center of the circle.
  13. >Ponies crossed their neck, and swayed back and forth- thus ‘Dancing’.
  14. >The two of you glance around awkwardly, Fleur even more.
  15. >”Maybe we should just-“
  16. “No, I got this.”
  17. >You crouch down in front of her.
  18. >She smiles, before coming close to you.
  19. >”Anonymous, you-“
  20. >She leans her neck on yours.
  21. >You hold her back with a hand.
  22. >”Anonymous, I thought we were dancing.”
  23. “No, not like that.”
  24. >Before she can respond, you place your hands under her front legs, and slowly lift her up.
  25. >She squeaks once, before trying to balance on your hands.
  26. >”Anon! What are you doing?” She’s smiling.
  27. “Dancing?”
  28. >You pull one of her long legs over your shoulder.
  29. >What do you know; she’s about your height on her hind legs.
  30. >Fleur lets out a shy smile, and tries to keep her balance.
  31. >”Are you sure this is a great idea, Anonymous?”
  32. “I’m having fun- are you?”
  33. >”Well-“ Her eyes go wide as she almost trips, and you hold her side.
  34. >She’s giggling now, awkwardly shuffling with you.
  35. >You lower your hands to her waistline, eliciting another squeak from her.
  36. >”Anonymous- you’re just too… Forward.” She blushes.
  37. “Oh, I’m sorry- this is how humans dance.”
  38. >”Is that so?” Her mischievous grin is back.
  39. >She then leans her body entirely to you.
  40. >Both of her forelegs are over your shoulder now.
  41. >You slide your left hand over one of her leg, and hold the soft hoof.
  42. >You then gently tug it to the side, and you’re all set.
  43. “Now, just follow my lead.” You smile, as the music rolls out.

  45. [If the link does not work anymore, it is ‘The A-Team – Ed Sheeran’]
  46. [Yes, credits to the Betty haters, the A-Team.]
  47. >You study her expression, as the two of you move in unison.
  48. >One, two, three.
  49.
  50. >White lips, pale face-
  51. >Breathing in snowflakes-
  52.
  53. >Her lips quiver, as she locks eyes with you.
  54. >You can see the soft snow settling on her pink mane.
  55. >The edges of her lips slowly curl into a smile, as you take a side-step.
  56. >She looks around, noticing all of the ponies staring.
  57. >”Anonymous, they’re all-“
  58. “Shh. It’s just us now. Come on, one two three- one two three-”
  59. >She lets out her bright smile again, before going with your movements.
  60. >At this point, you wouldn’t care about what the ponies might think.
  61. >You were right; it was just you and her.
  62. “Okay, just going to twirl a little bit…”
  63. >”Twirl?”
  64. “Spin.”
  65. >You put up your out-stretched arm, and let go of Fleur.
  66. >Taking a step back, you watch her spin once.
  67. >She balances herself on your grasp and a hind leg, and spins.
  68. >You quickly catch her as she comes to the end of the revolution, and return to your steps.
  69. >She giggles again, before sighing.
  70. >”That’s fun. Let’s do it again.”
  71. “Whatever happened to everyone watching?”
  72. >”Who cares.”
  73. >She let out a playful smile, before enthusiastically join in the steps.
  74.
  75. >And they say, she’s in the Class A team
  76. >Stuck in her daydream
  77. >Been this way since eighteen
  78.
  79. >You see a spark of excitement in her magenta eyes.
  80. >And for that moment, all of your troubles are gone.
  81. >It was just the two of you now.
  82. >You nod and take a step back, raising your arm again.
  83. >Fleur spins once, and then twice.
  84. >She’s starting to lose balance, and you sweep in.
  85. >The moment she falls, you are right behind her, catching her with your arms.
  86. >You cradle her, as she looks up to you.
  87. >The excitement is slowly wearing out as her expression slowly melts away.
  88. >”Well?”
  89. “Well what?”
  90.
  91. >It’s too cold outside
  92.
  93. >”Kiss me.”
  94. >You obey, and lean in.
  95.
  96. >For angels to fly
  97. >And angel will die
  98.
  99. >You slowly draw over her, not really knowing what to do.
  100. >She grunts in annoyance, and rushes to you.
  101.
  102. >Covered in white
  103.
  104. >Your lips meet hers, and the two of you stay freeze.
  105. >You close your eyes, and fade away into the feeling.
  106.
  107. >Closed eye
  108.
  109. >You feel the soft pat of the snow on your hair and ears.
  110.
  111. >This time we’ll fade out tonight
  112. >Straight down the line
  113.
  114. >You can hear the claps from the background, as you pull away.
  115. >Fleur looks to you silently, before letting out a small smile.
  116. >You sigh and let her to her hooves.
  117. >She retreats back to the building, and you tail her.
  118. >The song is just ending behind you.
  119.
  120. >And they say
  121. >She's in the Class A Team
  122. >Stuck in her daydream
  123. >Been this way since 18
  124. >But lately
  125. >her face seems
  126. >Slowly sinking, wasting
  127. >Crumbling like pastries
  128. >They scream
  129. >The worst things in life come free to us
  130. >And we're all under the upperhand
  131. >And go mad for a couple grams
  132. >And we don't want to go outside tonight
  133. >And in a pipe we fly to the Motherland
  134. >Or sell love to another man
  135. >It's too cold outside
  136. >For angels to fly
  137. >Angels to fly
  138. >To fly, fly
  139. >Angels to fly,
  140. >To fly, to fly
  141.
  142. >For angels to die
  143. >The door behind you closes.
  144.
  145. >”That was… fun.” She takes breather.
  146. “It was, been a while since I dance with anyone.”
  147. >”Well,” She answers, “I’m always available.”
  148. >You smirk, and nod.
  149. >”Might have to put on a dress, however, that was cold.”
  150. >She shakes the snow from her mane, and returns to her position in the crowd, her calling.
  151. >”Oh and Anonymous.” She turns to you.
  152. >”You are definitely interesting.”
  153. “I was about to say the same to you.”
  154. >She smiles, before fading away with the other party-goers.
  155. >You also return to your seat, joining a disgruntled Blueblood.
  156. “I’m guessing it didn’t go so well, my prince?”
  157. >You take your seat, and resume your drinks.
  158. >”Oh, it went heavenly, Anonymous.”
  159. >Emphasis on ‘heavenly’.
  160. >”Sometimes I wonder why I even listen to you.”
  161. “Why, I’m the most interesting individual around, sire.”
  162. >”Speaking of which-“
  163. “Yes?”
  164. >”That mare.”
  165. “Fleur?”
  166. >”Yes, that wench.”
  167. “Wench? Isn’t that a bit-“
  168. >”It’s true, all to the very letter. Look, we all saw your little ‘commotion’ outside.”
  169. “Just dancing, my prince.”
  170. >Blueblood suddenly grabs your collar and pulls you close.
  171. >”Listen, Anonymous, I’m warning you, be careful around that mare.”
  172. “What did she do?”
  173. >Blueblood assumes his composure again, and lets go.
  174. >”You mean who she didn’t do. That mare is trouble, Anonymous.”
  175. “Elaborate.”
  176. >”I can safely say at least half of the stallions here were ‘escorted’ by her before. That’s what she does, Anonymous, she is, at the very base, a wench.”
  177. “Is that it?”
  178. >You’re not buying any of this.
  179. >”No, that’s not all. All of those stallions were cheated out of their money. Completely legal, by the way. And everyone knows it’s her.”
  180. “And what proof you have on her?”
  181. >”Proof? Listen you oaf, she is bad, and I am taking my time warning you.”
  182. >You stand.
  183. >You’re not having any of this shit.
  184. “Then I bid you good night, prince.”
  185. >You wave and you walk towards the exit, you had enough for one night.
  186. >A white hoof stops you, and Fancy Pants steps into sight.
  187. >”My boy, we need to talk, about a certain mare.”
  188. “I know sir, Fleur De Lis?”
  189. >”That, and we also have another problem.”
  190. >You sigh, what now?
  191. >Another mare steps in your view…
  192.
  193. >Fleur dodged through the crowd, and come into the corner.
  194. >A stallion comes up to her, holding a cigar.
  195. >”So doll, got the next target?”
  196. >She hesitates for a moment, before responding.
  197. >F: “N-no.”
  198. >?: “Is that so? What about that human out there?”
  199. >F: “Look, he’s nothing.”
  200. >?: “Tell that to him- or to yourself when you kissed him.”
  201. >F: “Shut it, I’ll get a target soon enough.”
  202. >?: “Not soon enough, my dear- why not just the human?”
  203. >F: “He’s… Special. Besides, he’s just an enterta-“
  204. >?: “Special you say? Come on, Fleur.”
  205. >F: “I think… He likes me.”
  206. >?: “Likes you? Come on, he’s just like every stallion out there.”
  207. >F: “No. He’s different.”
  208. >?: “Fine. We’ll see about that.”
  209.
  210. >You study the mare, eyeing her strange clothing.
  211. >”It is I-“
  212. >She stands on her back legs, and stretches her front legs wide.
  213. >”THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE!”
