- I'm breathless, but my legs won't stop moving, thankfully. If they did, it'd be my end. I'm getting closer to Celadon Mall. I rush into the door, and decide to take off the motorbike helmet and tuxedo that I just bought, and swiftly suit up into my overcoat as well as a cowboy hat, which are both just as new. I calmly exit the building, and head towards Cycling road. The pursuer who was in the distance, is now right on my tail. He's carrying a large weapon. He didn't think twice about my disguise, ran past the mall completely, and is running straight in my direction.
- Startled, I get back to running, towards cycling path. There's a freaking Snorlax. Quick to find a solution, I immediately order my shiny Alakazam that I bought to teleport me out of there, anywhere.
- It seems I'm in Cerulean City. This must've been where I last healed. I head over to the Bike shop. The cashier laughs at me telling me I can't afford a bike because it costs a million and no one can afford one. I'm not exactly sure what his idea of business is. Anyways, I reach for a few leftover bills in my pocket and drop it on the counter. "Keep the change." I grab a random bike and take off. As I thought, I see some shady guys around the Pokemon Center, probably looking for me. How are they tracking me?
- It's not the police. It isn't Team Rocket. I don't know what they're after specifically, but they're chasing me. And they're good at it.
- I ride quietly along the fence, to the south exit of the town. There's a freaking tree. No choice, I'll get spotted soon anyway. I send out my new shiny Bellossom, and cut the tree down. A large thump echoes, as I sprint down Route 5, with them quickly following. I enter the underground path that leads to vermillion and bike down the stairway.
- I'm remembering Professor Oak's words; "There's a time and place for everything". But now's not the time for that!
- I quickly look back to evaluate the distance between me and my chasers. Nobody there. Phew, It seems I opened a gap. Actually, that sounds odd. There's no way. In fact. They're probably waiting for me outside on the other end. I stop and think for a second. I'm screwed if I exit either end, and Alakazam can't use teleport indoors.
- Actually, there might be one more way. I put on the wizard hat and cape that I got from the gift shop earlier, and begin to chant:
- "O please hear out my prayer,
- Great Deity of Random Number,
- Two minutes I'm willing to wait,
- But help me before it's too late.
- Bringer of crit, miss and flinch
- I'm not one favored by your luck
- But this time, I'm really in a pinch
- Just this once, let me be unstuck!"
- I hold my breath, and stop moving completely.
- It's just a matter of time until they decide to come inside and ambush me. But stallers always win.
- I hear them entering the tunnel. If I move, my spell wears off. Hope is all I got left. The RNG will not let me down this time. I'm calling it.
- They're dashing towards me, full speed. Getting close. Finally, one bodyslams, onto the ground, just as I vanish.
- I'm in Pallet town... Surrounded by armed men. They saw it coming.
- "It's over", I think, just as I am smitten by a golden hammer.
- I wake up in a cell. I see a guard, so I ask him why I've been brought here. He says he'll take me to someone in charge.
- He lets me out, and leads me to the office around the corner. There's a man in a spinny chair, and a squirtle sitting beside him. He stares me down without a word.
- I tell him about my situation and request to be released.
- "I found $100,000,000 in a mystery box today. Did you want it back? I'm sorry, but I spent most of it already. Some guy offered me lots of reward points in exchange-"
- He interrupts me there, sighs, and quotes some law article, and how I just violated it.
- "Appeal Denied. You're permanently banned from going outside."
- The office door closes shut, as I'm led back to my cell.
- He sounded like a charming doctor, but I really dislike his diagnosis.
- Stay here forever? No way. I look around along the way and spot an emergency fire exit. Within seconds, I punch the guard, run to the door, teleport.
- Ban evasion successful!
- I have nothing else left, though. No money, no clothes, no boxed pokemon. They confiscated it all.
- But there's one guy who can help me. An old crazy man with memory deficiency. For this, I need to part with my party. I need to start over new.
- I head back to Pallet town, and release my friends. I step into the tall grass, and get called out by Professor Oak, who tells me the tall grass is dangerous without pokemon. I enter his lab, and introduce myself under a random made-up-on-the-spot-name, 'Eggplant'. He has no idea who I am anymore. He gives me a squirtle, ironically, and sends me off on a journey to complete his pokedex.
