  30. Banning gives the offender time to reflect too.

  33. Pha Llus Actually if you're like me and got banned you're most likely to just dig your nose and play Dishonored. I don't reflect over unimportant stuff.

  39. Gavin Andrew Simmermacher Banning actually works pretty well. As long as the person realizes his/her own mistakes, they can take time to reflect and, when readmitted back into the group, avoid making the same mistake and improve their way of thinking as a whole.
  40.
  41. Of course, In Carlvin's case, he's still a kid and can't seem to accept all the crap he did. So if he doesn't want back in, his loss.

  54.
  55. Hoa Jae Chew Banning does allow the guy/gal to reflect i don't disagree with that. But just asking, so does the person that got banned really change his/her mindset? Or does he/she only behaves differently out of Fear? Fear of being banned again. There is a difference between behaving well because you Respect others and the rules and behaving well cos one is afraid of what may happen if he/she does it again.

  60. Now that's a little too serious. If you did something to get banned in the first place, you probably wouldn't mind getting banned again. Even if it WAS a permaban, if your life didn't revolve around the group, you'd just say "F**k it" and life would go on.

  81. And to be honest, if you actually have a fear of being banned from an online group... that's kinda pathetic, don't you think? (I'm sorry for using such a harsh word; can't think of a better one)
  82. I'd understand if you're afraid of getting fined, or going to jail, or being actually banned from going somewhere in real life; but to be afraid of being banned from a facebook group, or even an online game - My first advice to such a person would be: Grow a pair.
