Philip (Cavalier) - Southern Zofia 2
Derived from the Greek Philippos, which means "friend of horses."

Description:
"Commander of the Zofian Cavalry. Ambitious and two-faced."

Personality:
Philip was born a minor Zofian noble, and sided with Desaix during his coup in hopes of increasing his family's status. He took Fernand's position in the army after his and Clive's defection. Philip is still trying to climb up the ladder. He's cunning, sly, and willing to lie and cheat his way to the top.

"Ah, the Deliverance. What a splendid way to prove my worth to Chancellor Desaix. Die, worms!"

Vs. Fernand:
P: "S-sir Fernand? What are you doing here?"
F: "Sir Philip. Still kissing the feet of the throne, eh? With no care to who sits upon it?"
P: "Never! You have it all wrong! I was planning on defecting, I had to... get close to Desaix to assassinate him, you see?"
F: "Spare me your putrid groveling. You've made your choice, and I'm afraid it was the wrong one. Have at you!"

Vs. Lukas:
P: "Lukas. Still Sir Clive's lapdog, I see."
L: "How ironic coming from you, Philip. First Lima, now Desaix. The only thing you've ever cared about is status."
P: "Er... Sir Lukas! I think we got off on the wrong foot! Why not join me? I'm sure that Desaix will look kindly upon you."
L: "..."
P: "I-I see. So be it. Die!"
