  1. Indranil Vihreä whispers: I noticed you look cleaner!
  2. Astrid side glances towards Nero for a brief second before they drift back to Indra. A faint smile curves on those lips towards her statement- her eyes towards the other white haired magi could be an indication that he was the reason even before she said anything then.
  3. (Astrid)
  4. Astrid whispers: He's been helpful with that. Two favors now.
  5. Indranil Vihreä says, "Good! I got cleaner too, I found a little waterfall out in the woods to clearn my hair in."
  6. Astrid says, "That's wonderful."
  7. Astrid says, "Thought about learning water magic when I, you know, can use it."
  8. Astrid says, "Would help to stay clean."
  9. His gaze lingers upon the Exarch's departing back for a couple more, longer moments, before the winter haired boy simply takes a step back, watching Priscilla walk around him, over to Sain as he simply finds himself resting against the walls there, head tilted over to the side all the same.
  10.
  11. When the musician's eyes find him for briefest of seconds, he'd return the glance, before simply opting to gaze around. Relaxed, to say the least, and quiet for most parts, barring the soft hums.
  12. (Nero)
  13. Astrid glances back at her tail. That's how that became clean in the first place.
  14. (Astrid)
  15. Indranil Vihreä says, "Hm... yeah, that would definitely help."
  16. Astrid nods her head.
  17. (Astrid)
  18. Indranil thumps her behind onto the grass. "I still don't know what magic I want to learn."
  19. (Indranil Vihreä)
  20. Astrid says, "Water is the only one I can think of right now."
  21. Astrid says, "I.. don't know anything outside of that."
  22. Astrid says, "Or, like Synderen's metal magic I've seen him use."
  23. "I.."
  24.
  25. Charisma shown earlier drained little by little. She was so comfortable speaking to Nero beforehand. Now, the concept of being surrounded by the noble class scrambled thoughts. These developments barely did anything to her kind, convivial expression; they merely added to the jovial air emitted from her presence. But words failed to completely form. Sain completed what she hoped to accomplish and more. He achieved goals that she planned to do in the distant future. Someone else accomplished them.
  26.
  27. What does one say in this situation? The young woman remained silent for time. A deep inhale pulled through pink lips prior to light steps shrunk the distance between them. Heartbeats nearly climbed her throat as bluish sights gazed upward at the man. Hands motioned to rest the case next to both feet. Then, without hesitation, her head dipped to new lows in front of him. Priscilla’s stare pointed down at cobblestone whilst speaking with as much gusto as she could muster—only to come out as soft words.
  28.
  29. "I-It is a pleasure to meet you, Sain! Are you . . perhaps searching for a—No . . no. Please accept me as your apprentice!"
  30.
  31. (Priscilla Estiellevé)
  32. Priscilla Estiellevé says, "I apologize if this is sudden, though I find it necessary to ask. Perhaps with your help, my music can be appreciated at the same level one day. "
  33. It was an odd reaction, most assuredly, yet not entirely unexpected. Should the roles be reversed, Sain would have more than likely requested, no, demanded similar.
  34.
  35. A nod of understanding was offered, the same kind smile still clear upon his countenance.
  36.
  37. "Are you familiar with utilizing sound magic, miss? Which, on that note, I haven't even gotten your name yet."
  38.
  39. Not outright answering whether or not she could undertake an apprenticeship. Merely asking questions. Testing the waters, so to say.
  40.
  41. If anything, it was a very foreign feeling. As someone who had started off young and poor, without a thing to his name... He knew quite well the desire to better oneself. To reach for the stars.
  42. (Sain)
  43. Though she'd been passing on by - heading up northwards, to the upper city, the conversation couldn't help but catch her ear.
  44.
  45. … Not because it was a magic school that she was particularly interested in, no, but -
  46.
  47. Because it was interesting. Because it was something that set them out from those in the crowd, smoking jerkey and making dulled swords.
  48.
  49. "Ah- Excuse me," She starts, stepping forward.
  50.
  51. "I couldn't help but overhear … you're a musician, is it … ?"
  52. (Rayne)
  53. Sain whispers something.
  54. Sain whispers something.
  55. Nero whispers something.
  56. Indra reached into one of her pockets and took out a strange brown sphere with runes in it, holding it out for Astrid to see.
  57. "There's this too, earth magic. This little ball even teaches it to you! I got it from a magic merchant."
  58.
  59. She tapped one of the runes on the side, and suddenly text appeared above the surface of the sphere, as well as a hologram of a little person using earth magic, like some sort of freakin future technology.
  60.
  61. "Cool, right?"
  62. (Indranil Vihreä)
  63. The snowy white headed kitsune's head cocks upon seeing the viridian sphere protrude from the other's pocket. One that teachers another about the element of earthen abilities. Those silvery eyes widen when she leans forward, closer to view it. For now, the mushrooms are set aside in the grass- one is plucked from the mass for the kitsune to consume.
  64.
  65. "Is there one for water magic?" She asks, observing the nearby conversation with an ear perked in their direction. Another glance towards Nero as Astrid offers him a smile. He'd be the reason for her interest in it so, however she wouldn't bother to ask for directions on the course of learning the school.. otherwise that would be a third favor she'd owe him!
  66.
  67. Yet, as she looks away and back towards the sphere, she can't help but to lean forward more, closer to the object. "But yeah, that's pretty cool," she responds again.
  68. (Astrid)
  69. "I am Priscilla Estiellevé. No worth to my name socially, yet I strive to change those tides with my melodies."
  70.
  71. Platinum tresses tossed when she canted herself upward, bringing her violin case into both hands. Passion flashed in those blue-green irises as the performer aimed to stare upward. Directly at Sain’s visage. Enthusiasm laced each syllable whilst regarding him. Nerves? Apprehension? They all melted away. Musicians worth their weight lacked stage freight. Every action was meant to entertain; therefore, they must approach the show with certainty. This was similar. To reach for the stars, confidence was key.
  72.
  73. “Sound magic is new to me. I have searched for someone expert in the field yet found no one. Until you, Sain. If you would be so kind to teach me your ways..” She paused briefly.
  74.
  75. “Do not mistake my intentions. I don’t seek much fame. I want nothing more than to craft a story through music. To give the masses perspective they never dreamt of exploring. It would be marvelous to show the rich what the poor endures, to sing the songs of the working class. Perhaps communicate on a level that all can appreciate!"
  76. (Priscilla Estiellevé)
  77. The little animated hologram above the sphere disappeared, then Indranil sat it in her lap. She looked back up at Astrid and nodded,
  78. "Yeah! I think I saw a blue one. You want to see?"
  79. (Indranil Vihreä)
  80. Astrid asks, "Sure! How exactly does it work to help you learn though?"
  81. Indranil Vihreä exclaims, "There's one rune on it you can press and it will show you words that tell the basics of how it works!"
  82. Astrid says, "I've never seen what runes are before."
  83. Indra took Astrid down to the little merchant square in the farming district, and to a little stall with at least a few of each basic magisphere on the counter. How convenient of the city to even put a little shop out here, let alone create little spheres that help teach magic.
  84.
  85. "Here!"
  86. Indra exclaimed, gesturing her hand at the magispheres.
  87. "They're cheap too!"
  88. (Indranil Vihreä)
  89. Her eyes gaze around, having plucked back up the abundance of mushrooms and fixing them so they'd all fit within a single grasp. The Kitsune follows in tow as her sandals clack against the cobblestone walkways in the farming district.
  90.
  91. Meanwhile, her gaze fixes to that of a nearly set of stalls, particularly one where magispheres are fixated upon a table for newbie magi to collect and learn the elements present.
  92.
  93. There was blue- water, brownish green- earth, red- fire, green- air, and others that were for sword or fisticuff users. Non-ranged, or close up as they spoke of it.
  94.
  95. The Kitsune takes out a few of the coins Nero had bestowed her with, using the amount necessary for collecting elemental sphere she wanted to learn more about. The tome broker opts to dedicate little time for explaining about the fluidity of the magic and how it might tie into the emotional cortex of one's mind.
  96.
  97. Fluid, perhaps cold, cool, or smooth. In a way it seemed to represent a 'flow.' Although she vaguely grasped the idea, she was just happy to have it in the palm of her now occupied hand that didn't contain the mushrooms.
  98.
  99. "This.. is like nothing I've ever seen before," Astrid says, glancing between the sphere and Indra. "Wanna activate them together?" Meaning, she would become attuned with her element, and Indra her own.
  100. (Astrid)
  101. Indranil Vihreä says, "Activate them together? You just press one of the runes on the side, then learn."
  102. Astrid says, "That's what I mean."
  103. Indranil Vihreä asks, "Oh, okay! Um... wanna go somewhere where there's water?"
  104. Astrid exclaims, "Sure!"
  105. Indranil seemed to have run all over the place, turning around multiple times until she got to the beaches of the lake in the middle of Esshar.
  106.
  107. Panting as she stopped and plopped herself onto the sand, she spoke,
  108. "Sorry... for running around so much. I was looking for the waterfall I showed in... didn't fine it."
  109. She let out a little chuckle, then looked up at Astrid to see how she's doing.
  110. (Indranil Vihreä)
  111. They both ran together. Mushrooms falling from the Kitsune's grasp until she eventually leg go. Her tired person was panting rapidly, low on energy already from earlier travels, and sweating immensely even in the cool airs of the night.
  112.
  113. Despite this, she lurked around with Indra for bodies of water or keeping an eye out for that waterfall, and even Indra herself should they happen upon any mushrooms! The thought still made her smile, and yet..
  114.
  115. What made her grin the most was coming upon the beach with her friend where both magi could learn their proper elements. The world was around them, including this body of water they could shower with, perhaps by Astrid's forthcoming abilities if she could muster up mana more potent than before, tied to the element rather than raw in its untouched form.
  116.
  117. She hadn't known it still, but she knew that she'd work hard to attune herself properly!
  118.
  119. And between pants, Astrid speaks, "Don't be.We'll.. we can do this. I can.. maybe clean us," she says, straightening out her body from a leaned forward position, "Nero did it for my tail," she mentions, flicking the white appendage to brush up against her friend. Some furs were still matted down, but for the most part it was lacking the caking of dirt it was once riddled with before!
  120.
  121. "Either way," Astrid begins, "Let's begin!" And that's when she takes up the magisphere within both hands, readying herself to touch upon the runic engravings to entwine her birthing circuits with the forces of water magic- a free flowing, cold set of abilities.
  122. (Astrid)
  123. Indra nodded, "Yeah! And I could get us dirty again!" she giggled, and then giggled again when Astrid's tail was brushed in her face.
  124. "Pffa! You forget I'm down here on the ground?!"
  125. She smiled at her friend, then nodded and took out her brown magisphere. Indra stopped to look at Astrid's, wanting to see if hers did anything different. They were pretty much just super fancy books, so probably not much was different aside from the teachings.
  126. (Indranil Vihreä)
  127. "Oh, right... Sorry, Indra," she responds while plopping herself on the ground too. With both hands cupping the magisphere. It was smooth and cold to the touch as it generated a subtle flow of mana from within. Astrid could feel it in her grasp.
  128.
  129. Dawning a smile on her features still while staring at the azure object. A deep breathe is taken inward. "Alright," Astrid begins. The fingers of her left hand brush up against the runic numbers, allowing them to glow in a vibrant luminous hue of azure, similar to the coloration of the sphere itself.
  130.
  131. Upon a minor projector, silhouettes play out some of the most basic of abilities regarding the magic. A lesson is initiated. The bright orb gives off a light effect just slightly lesser than the illuminance of a torch, but in blue.
  132.
  133. And as she spectates that lesson, where the silhouette attunes itself with the element, Astrid opts to bend forward, the sphere still in hand, and allow the digits of her left appendage gingerly touch the approaching waves that lick the shore. They're just as cool as the spherical asset itself, and when she gives in to the focus of emotions, flowing cold and deep of what she felt back then from Nero's prompting of, the feed within the waves below to amalgamate with the water, meanwhile the sphere's mana does well to mingle with her own spiritual capacity, allowing her circuits to intertwine with the element of water!
  134.
  135. Who's to say the process is complete, though she speaks, "It's cold, but I can feel it," and nothing more then.
  136. (Astrid)
  137. You have learned Water Attunement
  138. "Ooo.."
  139. Indra sounds as she watches Astrid's sphere glow blue, like one of her eyes! She continued to watch the silhouettes of the water magisphere, finding it somewhat entertaining to watch the part where it shows a few uses of the magic.
  140.
  141. After that part she'd leaned back into a regular seated position from having been leaning in to watch Astrid's. The magisphere was held up from the bottom with one hand, while the other pressed the first little rune on it.
  142.
  143. ...
  144. ...
  145. ...
  146.
  147. Indra had a hard time grasping what the text and the silhouettes were telling her. How does this help attune yourself with earth? It's just dirt.
  148.
  149. She looked around themselves, was sand earth? Maybe the sphere told her that... but Indra still set the sphere to the side, then got on all fours with her face practically in the sand, looking at it and moving it around with a finger. She figures it does look like really tiny rocks, so... maybe it was earth. Earth was also rocks, right?
  150.
  151. Indranil sat upright and sent her mana into the sand, yet nothing happened. Did she even pay attention to half the magisphere's text?
  152.
  153. "Uh... what do you feel?"
  154. (Indranil Vihreä)
  155. Brief glances are paid towards the earthen magisphere that Indra possesses. The runic patterns aren't known of in their language, but she does vaguely see how a magi may attune themselves with the element.
  156.
  157. Just as Astrid is working to feel the waves upon the tips of her fingers and interpret the flow of water with her mana, or even try to shift it herself, she feels a sense of cool, flowing energy wash throughout her person, as if her veins were just opened up and welcoming a new flow of vitality, yet it was merely her spiritual veins opening themselves up to the attunement of water.
  158.
  159. "Um.. kind of refreshed," she replies. It was the sensation of water, after all. Refreshing, "Cold too," she says after a momentary pause. "More.. free?" It was how water seemed to be of what Astrid could describe. Free flowing, akin to the wind, yet more palpable before them and shifting alongside it.
  160.
  161. The tips of Astrid's fingers delver more below the surface of water, and with more focus setting in tune just then, the waves around a short radius seem to halt as the surface completely smooths out, as if no waves were touching it. Immensely calm, but from a more detailed observation, one could view the waves still ongoing around the barrier created to stop the flow of water.
  162.
  163. For a young magi just starting out on this newfound journey of magic it was only minor in comparison to most she'd seen, such as Nero's ability, but Astrid was happy with the result.
  164.
  165. "..What about you? Are you.. feeling the earth?" It was a deep statement that meant much more than how the kitsune spoke it.
  166. (Astrid)
  167. "Hm..."
  168. Indranil sounded in thought. Surely she wouldn't also feel that way with earth magic, unless all magic felt the same.. But regardless, she felt nothing yet.
  169.
  170. "Oh I'm feeling the earth."
  171. She said as she leaned down again to look at and feel the sand with her hands, brushing it around, scooping it up and allowing it to pour between her fingers. The girl was just having fun in the sand at this point, and shook her as she snapped herself out of it.
  172.
  173. "Pffa! Hmmm..."
  174.
  175. Back to inspecting the sand. She was sure the magisphere said it would help to understand earth, all it's properties; how it feels and how it moves and such. Indra was certainly getting that with her playing with the sand. Then the next part was to control it with her mana. So again she sent some mana into the sand in front of herself, and concentrated with all her might for it to do something.
  176.
  177. She wasn't sure she felt anything interms of her circuits opening up to earth magic... but perhaps it was overshadowed by the fact that the sand her mana was in just blew up and flew all over the place- there was no fire, it was earth magic.
  178.
  179. Indra sat there in stunned silence.
  180. (Indranil Vihreä)
  181. Astrid glanced back towards her friend to watch as she inspects the sand, lets it fall between her fingers, and feels it as she stated.
  182.
  183. As Astrid looks away, allowing Indra to work further with her own abilities and concentrate, suddenly some blew up all around, landing in hair, against skin, and such elsewhere!
  184.
  185. The kitsune's own focus shattered in the blink of an eye from that situation, and the natural flow of water commenced back around where she'd created a barrier with her magic to cease it..
  186.
  187. She's still for a moment longer with closed eyes as she waits for the rest of the sand to trickle down and avoid getting in her eyes. "You certainly felt it, it seems.." Astrid replies in a jesting manner, peeking open a silver hue and turning back towards the drakanite girl. A light giggle is made thereafter.
  188. (Astrid)
  189. There was no reply to Astrid yet. Instead, Indra's silence was broken by a chuckle escaping her, which then turned into full on laughter. She clearly found the sudden explosion of sand in her face hilarious, however her mind calmed fairly quickly; letting out a breath as it did so.
  190.
  191. "I guess I did, whatever it was!"
  192. She exclaimed, admitting she still didn't know what attunement to earth felt like. Solid? Grounded? Maybe she was just oblivious at the moment and couldn't tell it apart from any other random feeling yet..
  193.
  194. "Was yours working? I wasn't paying attention.."
  195. (Indranil Vihreä)
  196. In tandem with Indra, Astrid bursts out in hoarse laughter. Raspy gasps of air between pushed out bouts of giggles once it begins to die down, she's had enough after little time, though the smile on her face is still worn. The straining voice of the kitsune makes difficult doing any verbal speech or what have you of communication.
  197.
  198. "I could tell," she says in reply. Her eyes return to the oncoming waves, watching with scrutiny as the land before her against the shore, just nicking at her knees where while Astrid kneels.
  199.
  200. "Mine was working," she says. "I stopped the flow of water," she says again. "In a small area though," Astrid says again. "Um.. I think I can get the hang of it.. it's water, so it flows. That sounds.. easy, doesn't it?" A rhetorical inquiry is made.
  201.
  202. There's a pause then while the kitsune continues to stare at the water before a single left hand is cupped, dipping below the water, and brought up to drip along the forearm of her right to wash away the riddled dirt there. With that same left hand she begins to clean the area, allowing the most of her skin to feel the coolness of the water and familiarize herself more with it.
  203.
  204. But that's when she gets up instead... for someone who's never swam in all of her life, Astrid aims to wander through the waters, plunging one step after the next with her frail legs in order to get at a point of where it's just midway of her thighs. Cold, likely because of the nighttime airs, but she stands in the midst of the waves anyways.
  205.
  206. "..I want to feel it more," she says. She pondered.. how would she feel to fall below the waves and let them carry her? Would she be able to manipulate them herself, or become lost below that shallow surface? For now, she contemplates that. "What if you put the sand on your legs too to feel it more?" Astrid glances back. Her idea was absurd! She didn't believe it would truly work as a mage new to this world of abilities, but it was worth a shot, right? Allowing some part of forced emotions drive those abilities to activate more- however she would do it, or Indra might.
  207. (Astrid)
  208. "Sounds easier than earth. Earth explodes."
  209. She chuckled, and watched Astrid start to clean her arms off. Indra almost began doing the same, but then it gave her an idea before Astrid even said it.
  210.
  211. Off her jacket went, sliding backwards onto the sand behind her, now revealing her full little outfit underneath with quite a bit of skin showing. She'd then scoop up sand and do the opposite of what Astrid was doing; get herself more dirty; pour sand onto herself as if it'd help somehow. It didn't seem to... but at least it was fun. She began burying her legs in the sand as she watched Astrid go out into the water.
  212.
  213. "That's what I'm doing! Careful out there!"
  214. (Indranil Vihreä)
  215. Astrid turned back, watching as Indra dragged the sands above her body to partially bury herself. A dip of the kitsune's head is given! She'd try her best to be careful. Her body wasn't strong physically because of malnourishment, but perhaps doing this activity would push the girl to grow stronger in more than one area. Mentally, physically, and magically.
  216.
  217. That's when the newly minted water magi turns away, opting to delve deeper through the water at a slow pace. The waves were rough and opposing, but she'd push onward and with all of her strength.
  218.
  219. It is then that Astrid finds herself at a level of where the waters reached just below her chest, just barely able to keep going. The mana she possesses, which is minor, shifts out from around the girl through the polar waves to cease their movement around her. This was the first step. In a small radius, it all seems to halt entirely with immense, tiresome focus.
  220.
  221. One rough ripple after the next, Astrid found it increasingly difficult to utilize that force to keep out the external flutters of water from taking her back to the shores. Her own internal task was not complete, and so she strides forward until it's at shoulder level..
  222.
  223. Mana continues fixing itself through the waves below like intangible tendrils that reached out and freeze its movement still. Not literal freezing, but paralyzing the natural shifts to her own need.
  224.
  225. And yet, all of that disappears instantaneously as the girl dares dip below the water to keep up that focus where- her legs kick out, and Astrid falls through the barrier, allowing herself to plunge in. From the shore she could no longer be seen!
  226. (Astrid)
  227. [04:19] Indra had started a bit of her own practice again with mana being pushed into some sand in the palm of her hand. Her legs were still under sand, though it didn't seem like it would help, at least it felt nice.
  228.
  229. An attempt was made to get her mana to move the sand with sheer willpower. She didn't actually know that was a way to use magic, but she didn't want to use emotion for it. She didn't use emotion for her drakan magics, it was just sort of a feeling. However she wasn't sure she had the feeling; the attunement into Earth magic. Did she even need it all that much at first? Was she even using the magic right?
  230.
  231. Something was certainly happening, but barely enough for her to even notice. The sand seemed to rattle in place, but nothing more than that.
  232.
  233. It was then that she looked up and... Astrid was gone! Indranil worriedly got to her feet, took a few steps into the water, and called out, "Astrid!?" A few more small leaps out were taken, knee-height now, eyes scanning the water. "Astrid?!" She called out again, then pulled her shoes off right there in the water, and trudged further out until she saw the figure of her friend just under the water. Indranil took the few steps further, head barely above the water, and grabbed Astrid. Now to see how she reacts to being grabbed or if she's squirming.
  234. (Indranil Vihreä)
  235. [04:32] She couldn't swim, but that was in mind the entire time that Astrid forced herself to feel the water around her whole body below its surface. She didn't fear it, but embraced it. The girl was truly in her element for attunement under the asset of which her emotions would tie into one way or another.
  236.
  237. Cold? Rough? Frosted of a sheer, loathsome demeanor?
  238.
  239. Those were what she felt festering within, bubbling in the girl's own core towards the specified party in which she found herself opposed to.
  240.
  241. Yet, nothing more than minor water manipulation took place of the novice. Indra could easily locate Astrid- it was where the surface was petrified, entirely smoothed over and still, while rougher waves seemed to brush around an unseen barrier.
  242.
  243. Her concentration may have killed her, for she paid no mind to the lack of oxygen down below. Her focus was too far mingled in the aspect of melting in those waves and feeling their touch against her skin where she stayed in place in order to avoid being pushed back..
  244.
  245. But when Indra's interference came about, shattering Astrid's focus again, the girl found herself scrambling to kick to the surface of the lake for a gasp of air and a fit of coughing...
  246.
  247. Juiweihu.. sheesh.. It was in that moment of struggle that a massive wave of.. gleaming water? Whatever that was, the force was unforeseen and mysterious, though it appeared to splash around them in a circular motion rather than from ahead of them. Odd! A response by Astrid to the interruption?
  248.
  249. Whatever it was.. the way these waters crashed down seemed *far* too forceful! It could have been enough to pull them both under like a river rushing out roughly, taking them with it...
  250.
  251. Right back to the shore where both dragged in the sand! An odd occurrence!
  252.
  253. In a way, the kitsune was right about emotional responses, though she'd never figure out that the rush of that harsh water was of her doing to save them both from potentially drowning.
  254. (Astrid)
  255. [04:35] * You have been awarded 5 Roleplay Points! *
  256. [04:43] "I got you I got you!"
  257. Indra said as she grabbed Astrid by the hips and hoisted her up in the water get her head out of it, but it seemed that wouldn't matter. Suddenly some strange water smashed into them both, sending them through the water and back into the sand by the shore.
  258.
  259. Rolling onto her hands and knees in the shallow water, Indranil coughed heavily a few times as she had accidentally swallowed the water with some of course going down the wrong pipe.
  260.
  261. After her little coughing fit, she looked to Astrid beside herself, and helped her up if she wasn't up already.
  262. "Y-*cough*-you okay?"
  263. (Indranil Vihreä)
  264. [04:50] What that had been was a mini tsunami.. Oh joy! Where it had come from or been conjured by in this little lake was unknown- though it was most definitely an emotional response from Astrid's sense of danger and lack of air to grab even after she came up. Spooked? Just a tad.
  265.
  266. And although the girls were forced back towards the shore in a violent, yet protective manner, Astrid was still down in the shallowness of the waves. The kitsune knelt on all fours while coughing up water..
  267.
  268. "I'm sorry," she uttered out. Astrid tried to manage enough to get the air to spill out and apology. "I'm sorry," she repeated. Despite that being a novice's work, it wasn't powerful enough to have caused any real major harm to either teen. Only done by a means of saving them both from the waves!
  269.
  270. Regardless, because of that... they were both washed off of all the dirt at least, right?!
  271.
  272. "Are you," she stops to cough more, "-okay, Indra?" Astrid questions while being helped up by the other magi. It was a struggle. The Kitsune could barely raise herself up even with help, but they both managed. Rather than be concerned with herself, however, she inspects Indra for any harm and to ensure she's okay.
  273. (Astrid)
  274. [04:59] Once helping her friend up, Indra immediately pulled the Kitsune into a tight hug, holding her head beside her own.
  275. "I'm so glad you're okay.. I'm fine.."
  276. She said in a very relieved tone, then after a few moments she'd pull away from the hug- but kept her hands on Astrid's shoulders. Indra stared her in the eyes as she asked, "Are YOU okay?"
  277. (Indranil Vihreä)
  278. [05:02] Astrid was just slightly dazed from the new activity she'd performed. Although poorly, it might have pushed for better progress than she could currently determine. That was a thing for later, however!
  279.
  280. As her arms wrap around Indra's weakly, shakily, Astrid nods her head. "I'm glad," she whispers while being pulled away. It's easily noticeable that the Kitsune is out of it as if she were going to pass out from what had just transpired here.
  281.
  282. "I'm.. fine, yes," she affirms. Not a truth though! She was feeling sick to the stomach. "Just.. need a moment.." Her speech is slow, light, and spoken in a manner that shows she's somewhat out of it! "Did you, um.. progress any?" She asks, being more concerned with her friend instead to sway the conversation!
  283. (Astrid)
  284. [05:10] Yeah, Indra could easily tell Astrid was out of it. Her eyebrows furrowed as her friend lies about being fine, but there was no need to press on it.
  285.
  286. An arm is put around Astrid for Indra to help her up and over to the dry beach.
  287.
  288. A sigh is made at Astrid's question, "No, not really. Maybe sand isn't what I should start with, probably dirt." she nodded to herself as she guided and helped her friend sit down on the sand.
  289. (Indranil Vihreä)
