  1. Before Harper sat the three bones of the arm, made out of orichalcum. Thanks, Vulcan! Next to her sat the notes she had copied from the anatomy book retrieved from Mormegil, which had only managed to barely help her already extensive knowledge of the human body.
  2.
  3. No joints would be needed to create her arm. Instead, magic would be used to make the limb mobile. But first... it needed shape. Before her were the diagrams of the muscles of the body and their location.
  4.
  5. One could assume she would have to craft them herself, but that was certainly not the case. Eliana's gift to her was her body, and it would be put to use.
  6.
  7. Sitting upstairs was the body of Eliana Skyflame-Tsuchi, stuck in a solidified stasis, a mummification of Harper's own personalization. The blood within her was frozen, including those in the muscles. They were still intact and had yet to succumb to the process of decomposition.
  8.
  9. Several minutes later resulted in Eliana's body placed upon her table. With a pair of scissors in hand, Harper began to snip-snip-snip away at the skin of her arms with careful consideration for the fragile, solidified state of what lay within.

  12. The several muscles of the arm were retrieved from Eliana's corpse and were sat down upon the table, each labelled within her head. She would have to place these over the arm in a way that fit a normal human body, which would be an easy task if it weren't for the lack of tendons and ligaments to hold the muscles not only to each other but to the bone.
  13.
  14. Several minutes of brain racking brought Harper to the idea of using her knowledge of anatomy and blood magic to make artificial tendons. With a vial of sanguine liquid sat next to her, Harper strung tough, thick lines of blood in between the bones and muscles to hold them to each other.
  15.
  16. An hour of work resulted in a semi-realistic arm, save for the missing layers of skin. The muscles wrapped around it snugly and expanded and contracted at Harper's command, in which she used her knowledge of blood magic to twist the red blood cells inside of the muscle's mass.
  17.
  18. There were only two things left to do.
  19. (Harper)
