Ralsei x Anon: Nightmare Comfort Edition (Lnger one)

(One of my first greens that I thought was forever lost to time until now. This was just before I had made this Pastebin account, and now I have learned to archive my stuff since. I hope you enjoy this one!)


>be Anon, walking towards the door to your house, hands in the pockets of your jacket as the cool night breeze soothes you
>you had worked quite the late shift, and while you were no stranger to these, your partner Ralsei wasn't a big fan of them
>of course, he'd always understand and never make a fuss about it, but you could always tell from the tone of his voice whenever you called him and told him you'd stay later than intended.
>luckily it happens once in a blue moon, and hasn't necessarily messed up any real big plans, but it still pains you to know that your sweet fluffy lover is all alone, knowing that he would have to sleep alone until you came back
>...it always brought him bad thoughts from when he was alone in his castle for so long.
>a tiny part of you dies when you walk into your shared bedroom and see him either crying silently in his sleep or murmuring desperate pleas that you could only sometimes make out as ‘don't go’ and such
>just the thought alone stung your eyes, and you were afraid to see such a sight again tonight
>But such things would happen no more.
>You made it clear to your boss that you would no longer be available for night shifts no matter what. Even if it meant slightly less bonuses at the end of each week, it didn't matter.
>You'd rather go home at just the right time for Ralsei instead of stay longer for the sake of a little more money.
>Plus, to make up for tonight, you had two tickets to a certain event that would be coming up in town this weekend.
>One that your lover has been begging to go and experience, and you'd be damned if you would deny him the chance.
>You close the door to your house behind you, making sure to be extra quiet as to not wake up your fluffy prince upstairs.
>After taking off your jacket and shoes, you head upstairs, taking a quick moment to brush up in the restroom before you finally head into your bedroom
>Slowly opening the door, you peek in, your eyes dimmed focused on the small lump of fluff under the blankets of your bed…
>Ralsei…
>You smile, the sight always pulling at your heartstrings whenever you see your gote so peaceful…
>...until you start to see him squirm a little, and begin murmuring things you can't quite hear from where you're standing.
>You quickly but quietly step forward into the room, moving besides Ralsei as he begins to squirm side to side at a more intense and panicked pace.
>”n...no, n..no pl… eas… pleeas… “
>You notice that he was tightly clutching one of your pillows, and through the gleam of the moonlight from the window beside you…
>...several trails of tears grazed down his face.
>”Ralsei…” You shake him a little, to no avail.
>”An...on, n...no, nnnoh… I don...t don't wanna be alon… no no...no t… aga...in”
>”Ralsei.” Again, louder and with more intense shaking.
>”Please…”
>Ralsei continued to murmur this to himself, seemingly squeezing your pillow with as much strength as he could muster, gritting his teeth as hot streaks of tears ran down his otherwise fluffy and beautiful face.
>This would be the last time something like this would ever happen.
>”Ralsei! Wake up!”
>The goat then suddenly let out a scream of both fear and sadness, jolting awake as he sat up, hyperventilating as he laid his eyes on you, pupils dilated.
>”A-a-a-ann-oon…” Ralsei breathed out in a squeaky tone, looking as if what he was seeing right now wasn't real, but yet coming to terms that it was at the same time
>”It's okay Ralsei, it's okay… I'm right here...I'm right here, you just had a bad dream is all…” You tell Ralsei reassuringly, holding both of his soft, shaky paws in your own firm, gentle hands.
>As you squeeze his paws and give him soft, gentle kisses on his forehead and cheeks, he slowly begins to calm down to the point where he's no longer hyperventilating
>Ralsei gazes into your eyes, before he softly begins to weep and sob, leaning forward into you.
>You don't even think twice and immediately let the goat bury his head into your neck and shoulder, while your arms wrap around him in a loving, protective embrace. You gently nuzzle and kiss his long fluffy ear as well
>”It's okay, Ralsei… I'm here… I love you and I'm not going anywhere… okay?” You whisper. >He nods as his body shakes in your embrace, his arms clinging onto you for dear life it seems…
>” I-I-I had a n-nightmare… I...I-I was back a-at the castle and y-y-you were there and… and…”
>You remained silent, paying full attention to what Ralsei was saying, rubbing his back and nuzzling and kissing him still.
>”...wh-when I turned around, you were walking a-away… th-then the doors… the doors closed and I was...I-I was-”
>You cut off Ralsei suddenly with the deepest, most sensual and loving kiss you could muster at that moment, one arm wrapped around his slim fluffy body, while your other arm was in between the two of you, hand and paw clasped together over one another's hearts
>You held the kiss for a while… Ralsei hiccuped and returned the kiss desperately, tears now streaming down your own face as well, which were noticed by the goat after you two broke the kiss, still holding one another's hand and paw respectively.
>”Ralsei… I would never… ever do such a thing.” You whisper, forehead pressed against his as you gaze into each other's eyes
>”I wouldn't dare just leave you like that… You mean more to me than the world… light or dark…”
>”...you won't ever have nightmares like that again, Ralsei.”
>The goat looks at you, confused, but a glimmer of hope in his pupils.
>”...I know I've stayed at work longer than I should be sometimes… but I've seen how… horrible it's affected you.”
>”A...Anon…”
>”I won't be taking late night shifts anymore.”
>”...and tonight only proved that I made the right choice.”
>”Anon… b-but-”
>You stop Ralsei with a quick kiss to the lips, then you pull him close once more, your head resting on top of his, in between his cute pink horns.
>”...Thank you, Anon…” Ralsei whispered softly as he hugged you as tightly as he could, nuzzling your chest as you both say there on the bed now, embracing one another
>You could still feel how unbelievably fluffy and warm he was, even with his nightgown on
>”I love you…”
>After several minutes of more comfortable hugging and kissing, you and Ralsei eventually fall asleep in each other's arms, dreaming of your lover as you almost always do at this point.

>...then you slowly woke up relatively late into the next day, sun shining dimly through closed curtains, as your eyes open up to the welcomed sight of Ralsei, already awake with tired, happy eyes and a smile that instantly melts you heart before your blurry vision can clear up.
