TAN~
decided not to scrap the project or anything, but i feel it needs an alternative more general bullshit type talkshow that can happen whenever. for TAN going forward, i think the aim will be for 1 episode a month, around 2 hours in length. this way the show can provide a recap of the month's news and records, and allow more time to setup interviews. i think jymotion is still willing to co-host so that'll continue. i'm unsure when the next episode will happen, but likely after NASA

for the general bullshit show, i'm open to ideas anyone might have for it, including what to call it. i'll likely tweet out shit for topics like i usually do and go from there? this was the original idea that turned into TAN, so it's like regressing back to the stupid morning bullshit inspired showed, but as a separate entity from speedrunning altogether now. i wouldn't mind a rotation of co-hosts if you're interested spouting some bullshit for an hour

i tied 2nd place in batgun at 10:57, 'bout 3 seconds off verz's record. using my thumb and pointer finger to mash across a/b on the autoscroller bosses has made a huge impact and provided the biggest time save. this sort of technique wasn't great on my gameboy sp, but now that i'm on a sgb2 and a snes controller, it's viable

i've let vtmb all quest routing go for some time now and it's annoying that i haven't had more discipline with it. again i'm routing the dialogue options, but i have to start from the beginning as it's been too long now to remember where i was. i'll pick up routing again after NASA. my priority now is practicing any% for both NASA and ESA. i've also let any% slip for awhile; lauripolka picked up nosferatu any% and has come close to my current time on that clan. it'll only take me a day to derust any%, same with nice body

i'm still learning aliens vs predator 2. i'll finish learning it after NASA now that i know running the game in windowed mode makes enemies deal more damage to you (or some stupid shit where i get annihilated before i can even react. >pc speedrunning) i'll monitor capture that bitch and deal with a potential choppy looking stream - whatever. i'm also still interested in learning doom 1, even if it's brutal to finish. i know all of the first episode and may keep up with it. i'd also like to grind my nes metroid no warps time into the top 3 and get myself a 15:xx. game's missile luck can be frustrating to grind
