Can't pierce Hermann's armour

Jensen shot off his feet and dove back at his opponent, deploying his nanoblades as he
went. One snapped forward from across his knuckles, the other back from
his elbow, and he pivoted in the tight space. Against an unarmored target –
or even one with a standard Kevlar rig – Jensen’s slashing attack would
have been deadly. But to his dismay, the tips of the blades skipped off the
smooth ceramic-metallic plates that covered the ogre’s broad torso. Sparks
flew and the monomolecular edges left scored lines across the armor
without cutting any deeper.
