- The team followed carefully behind Rocket, they were on their way back from exploring an area further from their air craft. The cost was suspiciously clear and quiet for most of their expedition, they had a few issues but they weren't anything serious that the team couldn't easily handle on their own. Rocket was informed of said issues, he was there to supervise and make sure everything is fine but his involvement wasn't necessary as the team was able to figure things out on their own. He did record this for the record for logging purposes. The bearded man was feeling a bit uneasy, like eyes were watching him and his team while they were on their way back to their original position. It felt like he was walking into a trap, his grip onto his rifle tightly, senses sharpened as he carefully treaded through the unstable terrain. He knew things could feel and seem fine for one second though it could turn quickly into chaos if there was something that has been stalking them, or worse. Setting a trap for them to walk back into after leaving the air craft back to tread further into the unknown danger of the core.
- The uneasiness was getting to the commender, he could sense something in the distance and he didn't like it. His crowns rattled in response as he held his fist up, signaling his team to stop in their tracks. Everyone quietly stopped moving and held their positions, waiting for more orders from their leader who stood ahead of them. The commender scanned the horizon before he slowly walked back to his team, he quietly commended them to take a different path that was close by. It would take them longer to reach the air craft but it would be a lot safer as he can tell that there's something ahead waiting for them, he would go on his way to investigate further. His team wanted to protest, stating to him that he shouldn't be going on his own for the sake of his safety, that he instructed them to not go without a team of three at least. The commender shook his head and shot their concerns down straight away, he reiterated his commend. Stating that they should get going before whatever is blocking their current path gets to them, that he is able to handle them on his own, that he's experienced enough and this isn't his first mission nor the most dangerous one he had ever encountered. He wasn't going to budge and stood firm, his team reluctantly obeyed and began their journey onto the other safer path. The soldier watched his team disappear in the distance before he turned around and continued on the path ahead of him, he was holding his rifle up now, ready for action in case anything jumped out at him.
- The commender treaded through the dead foliage with silent steps, you could barely hear him make a single move as he approached what he had sensed earlier. An ichor beast, it was peacing nervously, sniffing the air trying to relocate his team that had gotten out of is path and it lost their scent. It seemed aggravated by that and Rocket could clearly see that, he wanted to give it one good shot to put it down but it's irregular movement and back and forth made it difficult for him to lock onto its deformed head. A body shot wouldn't be that affective considering it's mass and thickness of its body, a grenade would absolutely be affective but he would need to stick it onto its body instead of throwing it under it. Though it would bring unwanted attention from other ichor beasts if there's any near by, the fragile ground underneath them wouldn't be able to handle the blast as well. His guns will have to do for now, if he could get closer without alerting it, he might be able to take the perfect shot and put this monstrosity down.
- Rocket lowered himself, trying to blend in with the dead world around him as he continued his hunt. Stalking and creeping closer to the beast that was blocking the path ahead with its large and disfigured body. The beast was still unpredictable, clawing at the ground, pushing dead trees down and crushing them, looking desperately for its victims that it was so eagerly waiting for to return so it could crush and eat them. It roared in frustration, only blowing whatever cover it might have had. The roar was loud enough that Rocket's team would have heard it in the distance. Rocket was glad that he had made the right choice to let his team go ahead without him, he wouldn't have been able to handle the beast if he had anyone else with him due to their safety.
