  1. Region Descriptions:
  2. >I: Uhavot
  3. Most of the middle section of this continent is a massive arid plains with mountains blocking it on both sides. The desert stretches so far north and south it transitions from a hot sand desert to a desolate cold desert. The main inhabitants here are scattered Pelkori hive colonies. Some of the eastern shore is claimed by Vulkur colonial powers.

  5. >II: Hivarh
  6. This entire region has its northern border pressed against the rugged Hivarh mountain range. The portion of this facing the southern sea is an great expanse of fertile prairie. In the north river valleys support thriving Pelkori civilization, some of which are under the colonial rule of the Vulkur, others under the control of Susajahi. As you travel along the northern shore towards the equator it traditions into subtropical then tropical monsoon land.

  9. The entire subcontinent supports a small ring of short mountains on its southern shore. This traps incoming trade winds to form an enormous jungle, letting out into the northern sea. Isolated Pelkori tribes live here. This land is of much interest to the Vulkur colonial powers as it is rumored to contain the Susajata.

  11. >IV: Manjura
  12. This subcontinent is the most isolated in the world, only doing sparse trade with the Osini powers to the east. Human tribes occupy most of the main landmass while the arable land clings to the nothernmost sections and islands stretching out into the sea. Strange cults and beliefs abound in the southern ice hill tribes.

  14. >V: Osini Tyvuru
  15. The seat of the Tyvuru Osini, one of the two main branches of the Osini church. The holy city, Tyvuru itself, lies in its southernmost section clinging to the shores of the inland sea, just inside the arctic circle. These humans, despite their proximity to the Vulkur enjoy a must more calm relationship with them than the Eastern Osini as they avoided early colonization

  17. >VI: Osini Ijit
  18. The homelands of the Osini church and home of the Orthodox Osini. The northern border of this land is formed by the great Iji Mountains, which tower over the fertile river planes. This is a land what has long resisted the encroaching Vulkur influence to the north and strongly believed in the preservation of the Tas Da Raken.

  20. >VII: Vulku Vaha
  21. This is the first human territories to be taken over by the Vulkur and plays host to many Vulkur colonies. It is one of the stops along the Vulkur slave trading routes. This land in the south is a small hot desert, while the northern sections a vast jungle filled with isolated human groups.

  23. >VIII: Vulku Vu
  24. The heartland of the Vulkur powers. The Vulkur here have long built their world around the production of the Vahi trees and the brewing of Scour. Wars have been waged over the secrets of the narcotic. This land stretches north into the cold planes and south into the hot riverlands where the Vahi tree Orchards are.

  26. >IX: Vulku Yan
  27. The ancestral homeland of the Vulkur, and the supposed crucible through their their species was formed. This constantly flooding inland seas play host to numerous ancestors of the Vulkur who still frolic among the waves, fishing and rutting.As you travel east you pass into the Kanhaia Desert, and the southern tip of tropical land, and finally to the eastern shore and the great trade cities that form part of the Vulkur slave trade triangle.

  29. >X: Haggurn
  30. A great mountain range makes up its eastern shore, stretching high and releasing a great many rivers to flow into the rift valley that cuts through the continent. Many insular Vulkur civilizations play petty kings among these inland seas, forgetting their brothers to the west to their own devices. The ambitions of the Haggurn Vulkur tend towards much more spiritual than their western counterparts.

  33. The great island chain has two extremes. On its western edge Vulkur colonies and trade cities help as ports in the trade of Human and Pelkori slaves, as well as the outflow of Pelkori goods. On the shores in its eastern side the most independent Pelkori culture in all the world resides, nearly free from the grip of the Susajata.

  35. Defined Terms:
  36. >Pelkori
  37. Originally a slave race created by one of the two now extinct progenitor races in the setting. They are physiologically similar to the terrestrial ancestors of whales and live in a strict caste society based on naked molerat social structure. 80% of their species are permanently infertile drones, all of which are very stupid with a sub 60IQ. The remaining 20% is made up of fertile & infertile males and fertile queens. Males can switch between fertile and infertile based on pheromone signals from their queen. The infertile males are supervisors to the numerous drones while the fertile males are leaders and consorts to the queen.

  39. >Osini
  40. The Osini are humans. The Osini faiths are 7 distinct faiths that all derive themselves from a core ideology. Think of something similar to the diversification of Abrahamic faiths.

  42. >Vulkur
  43. The Vulkur are a species of avian folk based on flightless wading bird, and most bear a resemblance to carnivorous waterfowl. The Vulkur are the most industrialized race in the setting enjoying a continent far less hostile than that of Humanity and the Pelkori. They are the main colonial power in the world and portions of their world, mainly the nations within VIII are on the cusp of industrialization. They are naturally gifted speakers of the voices.

  45. >Tas Da Raken
  46. The degenerative form of one of the progenitor races of the setting, the Tas Da Daunn. The name means "Ones Who Lost Beauty". Technically humans are simply a numerous variety of Tas Da Raken.
  47.  
  48. >Susajata
  49. The remnants of the other progenitor race, the Sumori. The Sumori destroyed themselves after winning their long war with the Tas Da Daunn. This left behind the Susajata, and malevolent entity that knew itself to be the true Sumori. Physically it is nothing more than a mass of writhing flesh, a biological factory. Over millennia it has tried to recreate the Sumori in numerous strange forms, but always finds them wanting.
