New Industrialist Fluff

Their origins are murky and shrouded in mystery. Some say they came from a rocketship carrying an entire island. Others that they were an experiment by some government.

But whatever it is, it went right.

They are a people who LOVE to work and manufacture and build, the same way you and me love to eat, sleep, and have sex. Work is, quite literally, hardwired into their system.

Everyday is a crowded rush to get to the ever growing superfactories or build sites, churning out another million tanks, to go to bed dreaming of the day the megastructure built on the foundations of older ones.

They aren't entirely sure what money is for, apart from the fact that the things they make can be traded for it, and that they can trade money to get stuff to make more things. The idea is they need to make as many things as possible, so they can get more money, to make more things.

What little hometime they (thriftly) alot themselves is to sex as much as possible, to breed more children who will work in the factories (each child dreams of becoming the most productive or the next boss). Pregnant women are often very unhappy and bored with maternity leave, but are satiated with work like sewing new uniforms and electronics.

And just what will this industrial juggernaut of a people accomplish? Who knows. Perhaps the means are more important than the ends.
