  44. Hour long show which looks at the life of American super-secret operators.
  45. This one has a chance to get picked up. I was on the edge of my seat! Haysbert and company have the goods to rule their time slot. I was wondering whatever happened to Regina Taylor. She now has a role that can propel her into stardom. Scott Foley always turns in great work and my boy Robert Patrick is dynamite. I hope they keep bringing back the guy in the wheelchair. Also his wife is a hoot. This piece was well acted and well paced. I just hope they don't run out of fresh ideas. For those who are tired of all those infantile reality shows, THE UNIT is a rather pleasant diversion. I wonder though if the time slot is the best for this show. It is on at 800 Central going opposite HOUSE but I dare say I have grown tired of that show already. Give THE UNIT a look and you will have spent a pretty good hour of television viewing.
  46. The point of them going to SERE training again is because they were asked when the last time they completed the training was, and it predated when they changed the tactics at SERE. I believe they said on the show as of 2001 all special forces were to attend the NEW SERE. That is what I understood. I could be wrong-~ I was just surprised that they would beat the crud out of their "Elite" to that extent. I understand that they need to prove they are able to withstand torture, but that is like shooting our enlisted to see if they can live through it. I personally did not like the episode. I just watched the episode before the season finale and I do not get it at all, like a big piece is missing. The one where the team tries to dismantle the bomb in Atlanta, and the other guy goes on "vacation" to spy on the people in the next room over. When he catches the military guy and tells him to wait to see who comes to the bench to pick up the intel, his wife is going back to her room. Then the next scene, they are packing to leave. What happened inbetween? It didn't say! My husband and I are so confused!

  48. The series would end with Jonas beginning to suffer with combat stress. This is aggravated by Bridget Sullivan being mortally wounded on a mission, her dying words forgiving Sam McBride for his fake attempted rape of her. As a result Jonas retires from the army and joins Molly in her real estate business. Mack would become an officer and he and his family would move to a permanent posting elsewhere arranged by General Ryan, giving him a conventional army training job without any combat role. Bob would leave the army due to his injuries and go to law school but he would maintin his links with the CIA and work as a training instructor/legal consultant for them and act as their liaison with The Unit. He is intended by the CIA to be their inside man on The Unit through his contacts but it is later revealed that he is actually still working for Tom Ryan and is effectively The Unit's mole within the agency. Charles Grey would be promoted to the new team leader with Sam McBride as his deputy. General Tom Ryan would get back together with his ex-wife and call in the numerous favours owed to them and his men to have The Unit once again placed under his command. The series would end with the entire cast assembled to watch Bob, Charles and Sam put potential new recruits to The Unit through their paces in order to bring their team up to full strength. a5c7b9f00b
