The Pokemon/strategy you submit must be within the realm of "usability"- that is, it must not be:
A) severely outclassed in its role or
B) too gimmicky for serious use.
All this essentially means is, don't ask me to build around terrible Pokemon. The purpose of this reward is to help people build teams that give them a reasonable chance of success- whether that be on the ladder or perhaps even in a real-life VGC tournament.

That said, the Pokemon does not have to be "standard"- so long as the Pokemon is viable and has a worthwhile niche, I'll give it a crack. If you aren't sure whether or not the Pokemon you are thinking of is viable, that's OK. Feel free to ask before you submit, and be open to alternative suggestions.

Also, remember that these teams are first drafts- while they will most likely be functional as is, they most certainly will not be perfect. Sometimes, teams just don't work out at all- that's just how teambuilding goes. It's important to remember that 95% of the work in teambuilding happens during the testing phase, over the course of (quite literally) hundreds of games- it is during testing that a team makes the transition from concept to finished product, and it takes time and effort.
Just keep in mind that these teams are intended to be a good starting point- nothing more. (Also, if you want me to test the team out for a few games and refine it, there's a reward for that too :) )
