——having a heart of gold, hayun often finds herself caring to much for others and gets involved in so many things because of it. she then ends up with a pile of work and she does it all with a positive mind because she loves helping others. many may find her nosy but she's got the best of intentions. even though she makes sure everyone else is fine, hayun tends to cover up her wounds with a smile and "i'm okay", even if she isn't ok. both mental wounds and physical wounds. she's the type that doesn't want to burden anyone and carrys the load herself.
——hayun doesn't try to be cute, she just comes with natural cuteness. how her cheeks puff up when eating for an example. the fact that she's so small simply makes her cuter, though hayun disagrees, she's still in denial that she's not growing anymore. hayun gets super shy whenever she's praised and becomes a human tomato, she also gets shy after doing aegyo due to request

★ Background:
——hayun was raised in daegu by her grandparents as her parents had very busy lives and jobs in seoul. her parents, wanting hayun to grow up in her own pace instead of a past paced life, left hayun under her grandparents care. hayun's mother and father would come back to visit during holidays and whenever they could.
——her grandparents were a jolly and gentle couple and wanted to raised hayun to be the same. hayun became a kind soul at the early age of 7 years old and other grandparents and parents would envy her family because their small child was already thinking about others before herself. the old couple loved singing and hayun would frequently sing for them when they requested and that was how her dream of being a singer budded
——hayun was rather reserved in school, she didn't talk much which lead to her only having a small circle of friends who reached out to her first. she stuck with them throughout her school days in daegu and they trusted each other a whole lot. gradually, hayun became more talkative, even though she was still quiet, it was a big improvement from where she started
——hayun was scouted into sm when she went up to seoul to visit her parents. her parents took her out to myeongdong during the weekend to shop and have some "bonding time", the scout went up to her when the family was having a break at a cafe and hayun accepted to attend the audition. her parents supported her of course, they've seen her sing when they visited daegu and knew she had talent.

——at the salon, the two woke up very early in the morning as they had a comeback/debut scheduled and had to get their hair and makeup done in preparation for it. though they go to the same salon, the two had never came in at the same time which explains why they've never met. that particular day however, they were in the salon at the same time and hayun greeted him immediately, knowing that he was a sunbae. kihyun however, had no idea who she was as she hasn't debuted yet. he had assumed that she was a normal citizen, wanting to dye her hair. kihyun was proven wrong as soon as her manager came in and told hayun about her schedule. when hayun's manager lefter, kihyun struck up a conversation, feeling embarrassed that he assumed wrong eariler. he told her about how to cope with debut nerves and what you would expect after debuting. kihyun, who was done with his hair first, timidly went up to ask for hayun's number, stating - "i'm not interested in dating you, i'm interested in being your friend ok?"

afterwards, the two haven't been able to meet face to face due to the fear of dispatch and scandals but through text, they got along pretty well. kihyun would complain about his sons- i mean members to hayun and hayun would try give advice to kihyun but her advice were all on having a gentle talk with them but whenever kihyun tried to have a gentle talk, he'd end up blowing up and sass the member like there was no tomorrow. gradually, after meeting backstage during music shows and texting, kihyun would know hayun like the back of his hand. he would smile whenever he was texting hayun and his members would wonder if he got a girlfriend. kihyun would sometimes go on hayun's fansites just to see photos/videos of hayun being a smol squish. kihyun lowkey gets jealous whenever hayun's out with ten or doyoung.
