Blake and Mike

Alivi: Blake knocks on the door of Michael’s office
[12:25pm] Tox: "Come in," comes Mike's authoritative voice.
[12:25pm] Alivi: Blake enters, looking a bit awkward.
[12:27pm] Tox: Mike's sitting behind a fairly elaborate desk, covered in papers and a triple-monitor rig. He cocks his head. "Agent Turner," Mike greets, standing. "Please, close the door, sit down."
[12:29pm] Alivi: Blake sighs and does so, he sits down in front of the desk. “…Nice to see you."
[12:31pm] Tox: Mike sits down as well. "It's nice to see you too, Blake. What can I do for you?"
[12:32pm] Alivi: “…Well uh….I wanted to talk to you about…what’s been going on. I am sure you’ve gotten some reports."
[12:33pm] Tox: Mike nods. "I have. I've spoken to both Naberius and Addison."
[12:39pm] Alivi: Blake frowns at Naberius’ name. “I see.” he seems to have grown tense.
[12:39pm] Alivi: “…Did Naberius have anything to say?"
[12:42pm] Tox: "Naberius was not aware the Bureau already knew of your nature. He believed he was acting with good intentions. I believe him, but I did rebuke him for not coming to me first."
[12:44pm] Alivi: “…I see."
[12:45pm] Alivi: “I am fine with the higher ups knowing of my nature. But I’d rather be in control of who I tell…”
[12:47pm] Tox: Mike nods. "I completely agree; it's your nature and your right. I told Naberius to make sure to bring things to me first when they're this big."
[12:47pm] Alivi: “…he told Addison."
[12:47pm] Alivi: “They…told Addison.” Blake says sighing. “Who knows who else was told."
[12:48pm] Tox: "I'm sure Naberius didn't bring it to anyone outside this organization. Specifically, I don't think he told anyone outside of this team."
[12:50pm] Alivi: “Alright. I’ve been thinking of transferring- but there has been issues…with one- Addison, and two- I was informed that if I transferred… It’d be to protective Custody."
[12:54pm] Tox: Mike nods. "That's correct...the Director informed me that placing you in protective custody is non-negotiable...and I gather that's not much fun. As for Addison...." Mike sighs, rubbing his face. "Not speaking as the division leader of Field Operations, but as Addison's father...you make her happier than I've -ever- seen her before. Losing you would destroy her, I fear. I don't say this in an attempt to influence your decision, but just so you can -

[12:56pm] Alivi: “…I understand…"
[12:58pm] Alivi: Blake exhales, “…Everything is hitting me at once, and I don’t know what to do."
[1:00pm] Tox: Mike rubs his face. "I understand, Blake. Trust me, I know what you're feeling. I don't think looking to transfer away is the best solution, especially when you know it's going to involve putting you in protective custody. I think you can make this work with Naberius."
[1:00pm] Alivi: “…I’m not sure how it can."
[1:04pm] Tox: "Speak with Naberius," Mike says, leaning forward. "I think he understands why what he did is wrong. If he hasn't spoken to you since then, I think you and he need to. Clear the air. I don't think this is irreparable."
[1:09pm] Alivi: Blake sighs.
[1:09pm] Alivi: “…fine. I will."
[1:11pm] Tox: Mike nods. "I'm glad to hear it." Mike smiles. "Is there anything else I can do for you?"
[1:16pm] Alivi: “…n…no…that would be it."
[1:18pm] Tox: Mike nods. "If there ever is anything, my office is always open for you." Mike stands, crossing from behind the desk and offering his hand.
[1:19pm] Alivi: Blake stands and offers his own, “Still unsure of talking to Nabierus."
[1:20pm] Tox: Mike shakes Blake's hand. "Do you want me to be there as a mediator?"
[1:20pm] Alivi: “If….you would be."
[1:22pm] Tox: "It's part of my job as division leader," Mike says.
[1:27pm] Alivi: “Alright…” Blake sighs.
[1:28pm] Tox: Mike nods again. "If there's nothing else, you can head out."
[1:29pm] Alivi: “Alright…” Blake nods and runs a hand through his hair before turning to leave.
