- Tsaaq: Remy was pacing outside of the facility, smoking his cigarette hurriedly while his other hand was stuffed into his hoodie pocket.
- Covet: -Cadence was inside waiting for the doctor and Head Admin to call them in, while she waited for Remy to finish his cigarette outside. She was sitting on the couch looking around the facility, honestly expecting Carrie to be free reigned again. After a few minutes the receptionist got a phone call and looked at Cadence- // They're ready for you guys. Last office down Hall C on the left. -she told Cadence-// -She got up from the couch and went to step outside to let Remy know.- They're ready for us, babe.
- Tsaaq: "Coming!" He called out as he flicked the cigarette butt away into the street and wiped his hands on his hoodie as he went to follow Cadence inside. "This better not be some old bullshit..." He whispered, moving behind Cadence since he didn't know which room they were going to.
- Covet: I agree, and if it is, We're pulling her tonight... As much as I don't want to do that, because she's doing so well, I don't want her to be here longer than necessary because they can't pull their heads out. I told Dr. Ferguson as much earlier when she called me today asking about it. -Cadence said softly, getting to the door the receptionist had directed them to. It was more of a conference room than it was an office really. with the big table for more seats and all that shit. She reached for Remy's hand and then opened the door to be greeted, by a man and a woman looking all professional, Dr. Epstien was there too I imagine.- // -The Head Admin was a balding, stiff looking guy in a suit with no tie- Hello Mr. Berkoff and Ms. Ryken. Please come in and have a seat. -He said in a cold tone that put Cadence on edge-
- Tsaaq: Remy took Cadence's hand and squeezed it a little as they made their way into the room. He furrowed his eyebrows before going to stand by the chairs, waiting for Cadence to sit before he did. He furrowed his eyebrows at the head of the facility before glancing to Dr. Epstien. "How are you guys tonight?" // She nodded her head curtly before shifting in her seat. "Fine." She answered, saying nothing else.
- Covet: -Cadence sat down, placing her hands on the table and looked them both in the eye- Goodevening to you both. So, what are we going to do about the issue we're having here? -She asked bluntly because she was in a zero bullshit mood- // -The Head Admin cleared his throat and sat up straighter in his chair- Well Ms Ryken, you seem to have stirred up quite the commotion last night. And you realize that even though you are a former patient, you can't just come in and do that yes? // -Cadence stared at the guy and blinked- Oh, I know exactly what I did, and that I shouldn't have. But It needed done, for the safety of one of your patients. Me being a former patient has nothing to do with this issue...I am here with Remy, as a benefitiary to a patient here. And we expect actions to be done in a timely manner for the safety of Hayley. That's something that should be provided regardless of who we are.
- Tsaaq: He pressed his lips together tightly and blinked slowly, trying his best not to go off. "Yeah, plus, it should mean something cause she's paying and all. I don't know. Money doesn't just grow on trees." Remy began to ramble in a monotone. // "If you would've initially came to us on the issue it could've been addressed but you definitely caused disruption last night in your actions." Dr. Epstien said. "We could've made arrangements if you would've just contacted us."
- Covet: -Cadence looked at Dr. Epstien and shook her head- Oh don't even give me that. I've already had problems with you too, shoving your fancy degree in our faces, instead of listening to the people that know Hayley best. You're welcome by the way, for doing your job for you. -She looked back at the Head Admin- I understand that you have difficulty with Carrie, as she's more or less a permanent resident here, but that shouldn't give her free reign over the facility, or into people's offices to get private files. She's been intimidating and bullying Hayley, and god only knows how or what she was doing with her file. That is completely unacceptable and Hayley shouldn't be in a room with her. Period. // Dr. Epstien is one of our finest doctors, here. I think her heart was in the right place when she was initially diagnosing treatment. All the same we can't have people coming in and disrupting the order around here like you did. So we have a couple of options. We can set Hayley up with someone else for her roomate, she can stay in a solo room, with a staff member keeping an eye on her at night, Or we can discharge her and you can take her somewhere else if you don't trust how we're doing things.
- Tsaaq: "Okay, how the hell are you picking people's roommates first off? Secondly. Don't get mad at her for trying to diffuse the situation. If you cared about my sister as a suicide risk this would be of a higher concern." Remy said sternly as he leaned forward in his seat. "Okay, no offense. But I don't want a creepy staff member watching Hayley. Okay? So the person would have to be a chick, and it would have to be somebody who makes her comfortable. Otherwise that's just weird. As for the new roommate option, you have to choose wisely instead of whatever the hell you feel like works..." Remy listed the conditions. // Her eyes widened at Remy and Cadence. "We are addressing the situation wherein Carrie was able to get into my office, it's a security issue. I'm sure if our personnel noticed any aggressive behavior they would seperate them. That has not happened. No problem was brought up until you were yelling and disturbing our patients last night." Dr. Epstien stated with a scoff. "And as for how you feel about how I do my job? It feels as if you have us under this microscope of how you assume these type of facilities are supposed to be run."
- Covet: So you mean to tell me that you have to wait for things to get physically agressive before you do anything? Everyone in this room knows how Carrie is....she's a manipulative psycho bitch, and if she can get under the radar with shit, that's exactly what she's going to do...and has been doing with Hayley. But none of you thought to check up on that after you placed her in there with Carrie did you? You had a passion commit suicide over the holiday, Patients getting a hold of other patients files, not checking in with patients and knowing them well enough to know that there's something wrong without them telling you... there's a serious issue of neglect around here, and I'm sorry that I expect more than that out of a mental health facility. I do have you under a microscope right now, because I'm paying you guys to help make someone better...that's not myself this time. I'm not assuming... I've been here... I know the routine and when I've been in here before, everything wasn't nearly as bad as it is now. It seems like you'd rather line you wallets then actually do your jobs. And if that's the case, I'll put my money into lawyers to expose that neglect. I mean it's pretty bad when one of your contracted psychologists, sees the same issues that I do around here. // -The head Admin grunted and sighed, listening to both of them, and looking at Dr. Epstien.- Well, I think we can make sure that Hayley is better accomodated, if she'd like a different roomate, or her own room, we'll make sure she's accomodated as requested. We definitley don't want to cause a big legal issue, as I'm sure that wouldn't make anyone involved happy. Will that satisfy you and keep you from disrupting the order around here?
- Covet: *Patient....I have no idea where passion came from... XD
- Tsaaq: Remy furrowed his eyebrows a moment while he looked between Cadence and Dr. Epstien. // "You can't sue us because there hasn't been any negative ramifications to this apparent 'neglect'. You both have a lot of things to say, but the person who's opinion seems to matter involving recovery and maintinence is Hayley. Who as far as I know is just attempting to cooperate to get out of here." She said with a roll of her eyes. Dr. Epstien pursed her lips. "With all due respect sir, Hayley is my patient. She has yet to complain about anything. It's the people in front of us who seem concerned about invisible issues." She leaned over to whisper to the head of the facility. She sat up straight once more. "Yes, she's in a good hands. If you could refrain from blowing things out of proportion and just coming to us so we can correct an issue please do so. But the way you did last night was not acceptable whatsoever." She said.
- Covet: -Cadence tried not to choke on her own laughter.- Invisible issues? In-fucking-visible issues? Okay, let's ignore the fact that I dunno, Remy and I have both been patients here and know far to well what Carrie's capable of. Whether you guys see it or not, because your heads are so far up eachother's asses. I can't blame Hayley for not wanting to open up to you, when you've made it RATHER clear you don't actually give a flying fuck about her. If she's attempting to cooperate, just to get out of here...shouldn't that say something about this facility and how she's being treated? God forbid someone have an advocate to speak up, since apparently the doctors and administration don't listen for shit. I think a patient commiting suicide is a pretty negative ramification...that's someone's life that's on your hands now. -Cadence said glaring at them both, while reaching over to give Remy's hand a squeeze, her hand shaking at this point- I won't cause anymore uproars, because the next time something is out of line, We'll take her out of here and put her somewhere that's going to care about her on a personal level, not treat her like she just another number on your checks, and there will be a shit show that follows. // -The Head admin, cleared his throat and spoke up- I think we've all made some rather important statements and revelations here, and we'll all do better to make sure going forward things are ran through the proper channels. Does that work for everyone involved? -he said looking between everyone.-
- Tsaaq: "Hey hey, calm down. At least find a back up place to put her before you talk shit to them like that." Remy said to to Cadence before shaking his head. "Yeah, that's fine. Thank you." He said loudly and let out an exasperated exhale. // "It's actually none of your business as to why that particular patient ended her life neither is it in good taste to blame that on us. We are not some type of magicians who can grant an instant cure. We can only help those who actually want it." Epstien said, getting a little angry now. "And she isn't a check to me at all. Trust me. If I have to hear more complaining about how I'm doing my job wrong? I'll gladly drop her as a patient. But make no mistake other therapists will hear about the nightmare you put the staff through and no one will want to take her. Choose your statements wisely. So for the sake of her treatment I think you should start to be a little more forthcoming when addressing me, I try to do the same with you. Thank you." She sat back in her seat. "That's all..." She trailed off, resuming her silence.
- Covet: -Cadence looked at Remy, then back at Dr. Epstien.- Wow... You're going to sink that low to black ball her from getting help. What kind of sick twisted quack are you? Not that it matters, I've already been looking into other options as well as have someone who'd be more than happy to take her on, that actually invests her time into helping her patients. Even the most difficult ones. So don't act like you are doing an act of god here, and aren't replaceable -Cadence said getting up from her seat- But I'd really rather not upset the progress that has been made so far. So let's focus on that, and everything will be Kosher. // Yes, I think that's something we can all agree on. Hopefully we won't need another meeting like this, and everyone's needs will be met. Thank you for coming in and being... vocal and attentive...-he said struggling with the right words- If anything comes up we'll let you know and handle it with the utmost care.
- Tsaaq: Remy got up from his seat and started to lead Cadence out of the room. "Come on and we please just go." He said under his breath as he stepped into the hallway. "Thanks, night." Remy called out. "Okay Cadence thanks and all but you know going back and forth with the bitch only hurts us, clearly. They think we're just being annoying." He whispered before shaking his head. // "It's not me black balling. You've done that all on your own. I don't have to say a word. Word gets around against my will, which I'm sure you should know about." She sassed before picking gathering up her things. "Alright, goodnight. Thank you for your time." She said before shaking her head and looking to the head.
- Covet: -Cadence set her jaw as Remy led her out of the room and down the hallway.- Oh they haven't even seen annoying yet. That fucking bitch isn't a fucking doctor she's a headcase all on her own with a fucking power complex. Dr. Ferguson said she'd take Hayley on if we needed. She's not exactly fond of Epsuck's mentality around here either. -She took a deep breath and looked around and frowned, feeling exhausted from her own actions.- This used to be a place that helped people.
- Tsaaq: "Oh my god Cadence, stop it." He stopped walking and put both his hands on her shoulders while staring into her face. "They are helping her. It's not like they're not trying. Or they would've just fucking dropped us. And you've got to stop talking shit about Dr. Epstien okay? We're just look like privileged assholes because we're complaining but we're still paying her. And she's kinda right. They can't just magically fix people. It takes a lot of factors. That's why a lot of factors attribute to problems too." He sighed. "It would be different if we went another way with this but that's not what's happening. And we don't want bad attitudes ruining anybody's approach to Hayley's treatment. Do you?"
- Covet: -She stopped and felt her face burning as he spoke to her. She had her jaw set and her fists balled up as she listened to him- I wouldn't be paying her if I didn't have to be. -she muttered- But...No, I don't want that effecting their approach... unless it's going to light a fire and make them pay attention. I'm not asking them to magically fix people, I know that can't happen. I'm asking them to do the best they can, and they're dropping the ball for their own egos. I'm sorry I have an issue with that, and that I'm more than happy to throw my privledgedness around to make sure she's not the next incident they have on their hands. -She explained, swallowing hard, while trying to justify herself, because she was embarrased about being scolded by him.-Cadence shrugged his hands off her shoulders and kept walking, pushing past the doors, and out to the parking lot. She took her keys out of her pocket and handed them to him, speaking softly- Can you drive please....I'm worked up and liable to run someone over.
- Tsaaq: He shook his head. "Well it didn't light a fire. And now you can see that. They mentioned giving her up as a patient twice in that convo and you can only imagine what they're talking about now that we're gone." He sighed and stepped back, walking behind her. "Listen, it's not showing people the truth if you're a dick about it, then they're too focused on how you're being a dick. Remember, people don't like shit like that. You don't even like that shit and you know it." He said before sputtering his lips. "Yeah fine." He said in a whisper as he took the keys and made his way to the truck and getting in the driver's seat.
- Covet: I know I don't. I know I fucked this up. Okay. Thank you for reminding me how much of an asshole I can be, even when my hearts in the right spot. -she said snapping at him, crossing her arms as she got in the passenger seat, staring out the window, clenching her jaw tightly.-
- Tsaaq: "No stop it. You didn't fuck anything up. You're just at a hundred and twenty and I need you at like seventy five right now." Remy answered as he shrugged once he placed one of his hands on the wheel. "Cause really what does all this shit do? It makes you all upset, gets your blood pressure all high and shit. Nobody is happy that way. Not even you, look at you, you're pissed. And we won, we won and you're still pissed." He sighed, changing the gears and starting to drive. "I'm sorry, shit. I was just trying to calm you down."
- Covet: -She stayed quiet, listening to him, but not looking at him. She bit the inside of her cheek and swallowed hard- I'm sorry too. -she said trailing off softly before reaching over to take his hand again, but still not looking at him. She was counting the lamp posts out of the window as they drove, trying to bring herself back down as he'd asked.- I need to get home and take my meds.... and sleep. -she mumbled, sniffling as she rested her head on the edge of the window-
- Tsaaq: Remy sped up a little bit. "We'll be there soon, don't worry." He sighed as he ehaded towards the apartment and stuff.
