- whaIing: [Yooo]
- Tsaaq: ((Want me to post first or give you a chance?))
- whaIing: [You can post first xD]
- Tsaaq: ((Alrighty cool.))
- Tsaaq: Freedom drove up to the cafe, carefully parking out front. She pouted as she swiped her fingers against her phone screen a few times. With a small exhale she unbuckled her seat belt and got out of the vehicle. She moved towards the cafe, pulling the door open and glancing at the counter. Raksha wasn't there, probably still with her parents. Freedom pursed her lips a little as she awkwardly stood by the entrance of the cafe.
- whaIing: Connor stood in the corner of the cafe, the place was packed and there were no table with seats for two. He scrolled through his texts as he saw one come in from Christina, detailing about how she had a Doctor's Appointment to go to during the time when she was supposed to meet up with him and show him around campus. He sighed and ran his finger through his hair, lightly scratching on a new tattoo he got on his face. He looked at the door, hoping that maybe she had ditched the doctor and came here but he sighed as a petite blonde walked through the door. He ran his eyes up and down her, before returning back to his phone. He scrolled through pictures of shoes and skateboards, then of his ex-girlfriend. He immediately turned off his phone, shoving it into his pocket while scanning the room for a seat.
- whaIing: [Internet went out]
- Tsaaq: ((Wb.))
- Tsaaq: The cafe was pretty dead, so it was fairly easy to narrow down who she was probably supposed to meet up with. She cautiously approached the male and smiled at him. "Heeyyy, you Tina's friend?" She asked him. Freedom gritted her teeth, anticipating the embarrassment in finding out whether or not it was him.
- Tsaaq: ((I waited for you lol.))
- whaIing: [tyty tyty]
- Tsaaq: ((Yw lmao.))
- whaIing: His scouting was interrupted when the blonde he had glanced at had walked up to him. He looked down, placing his hands in his pocket and having a quizzical look on his face when the blonde asked. "Uh, yea? Why?" He looked at her sternly, his bushy brows pushed down on his face.
- Tsaaq: "Oh aiight." She said with a nod. "Nah she told me to meet her here and shit but, she also told me that she gonna be late and that her friend would be here." Freedom replied a little anxiously.
- whaIing: He smirked, crossing his legs infront of him and leaning against the wall. "Ah, so she ditched you too?" He noticed she was fidgety and chuckled a bit. "What's wrong? You seem on edge."
- Tsaaq: Freedom shrugged her shoulders. "I didn't know it was all that. I definitely believed that she had a doctor's appointment." She laughed then crossed her arms over her chest. "Eh... I'm aiight." She waved her hand at him. "I'm Freedom by the way."
- whaIing: He nodded, then returning to look for a table for the now two of them to sit at.Then he noticed she was still talking. "Yep.." He wasn't really listening, until he found a table. He nodded his head to it and then sat down, leaning back in his chair and spreading out his legs. "Connor."
- Tsaaq: She pursed her lips as she darted her eyes. She went with him to the free table and pulled the chair out. "Nice to meet you though." She said as she sat across from him.
- whaIing: Nodding, he pulled his phone out of his pocket, scrolling through it. "How you know Tina?" He looked at the different pictures he scrolled through then stopped. "You're legal right?"
- Tsaaq: Freedom crossed her legs and put her hands in her lap. She looked up at him and pursed her lips. "Well she go to my school. Me and her chill sometimes... We kinda friends-" She answered before furrowing her eyebrows. "Yeah, I just turned nineteen?"
- whaIing: "Oh, you go to Saratoga Univesity? I'm going there this semester." He scoffed then returned his attention back to his phone. "You don't look it." Connor adjusted his pants, pulling them up slightly and then stretching his legs out. "What's there to know about the school?"
- Tsaaq: "How old I look?" She asked wait her eyebrows raised. "Well... It's a good school and shit. There's just a lot of drama."
- whaIing: He raised his shoulders. "Sixteen." He grinned slightly, then frowning when she mentioned drama. "Fuck, for real? We in high school now? Jesus, you'd think in New York shit was all mellow and everyone was chill, but it's just petty shit minus the fighting. Everyone out there too pussy to fight." He groaned.
- Tsaaq: Freedom kept her eyebrows raised. "Damn..." She whispered. She looked over to him again and shrugged her shoulders. "Well it's cause nobody knows how to mind they mother fuckin' business and bitches be jumping to conclusions. I be the main one telling people to chill." Freedom waved her hand at him. "Ayyee, you from NYC? Where? I'm from the BX."
- whaIing: "TriBeCa, but I went to the Bronx every day cause of my ex-girl Arya. What part of the Bronx?" He cracked his neck slightly, then waiting to ask another question. "You skate?"
- Covet: [I'm gonna wait to post in for just a sec, Cause I have to go pick up the to go order for lunch here in a second]
- Tsaaq: ((Damn it bitch lmao. Tyt.))
- Covet: [XD I'll post in after that It won't take me long.]
- Tsaaq: "We lived in Castle Hill since I was a baby. Manhattan was waaayy to far to go to. Only on like special occassians and shit." She replied with a shrug. Freedom frowned widely. "Naaah." She answered. "That shit seem dangerous."
- whaIing: He raised his brow. "Castle Hill? That's only like 25 minutes away from Harlem." He laughed, playing with his thumbs, placing his phone away once again
- Tsaaq: Freedom pouted her lips. "I mean... That's what moms and daddy used to tell me..." She said quietly, looking embarrassed. "Well we live here now so it don't matter..."
- whaIing: He shrugged, placing both hands on the table and tapping them rhythmicly. "Don't worry about it, it's not that big a deal. My parents told me boroughs that weren't manhattan were "riddled with crime and gangs"."
- Tsaaq: She nodded her head slowly. "I mean... They bad. But I always figured everywhere was bad." Freedom laughed a little. "The suburbs is aiight." She shrugged.
- whaIing: He shook his head side to side. "I always felt less safe in the suburbs, I don't know why. Probably 'cause of the like doormans and shit.
- whaIing: *"
- Covet: -Nika walked into the cafe and walked up to the counter to order herself something strong and sweet. Opting for a double shot carmel latte she paid for her order and waited for the barrista to hand it to her. Looking around the shop she made her way to her favorite table against the back wall, seeing Freedom sitting with a guy. Sitting down she gave her a wave and reached into her bag to pull out her book, setting it down on the table.-
- Tsaaq: "What you gonna take at SU then?" She asked him. "You know it's gonna be hard living out here for school then?" Freedom laughed a little before seeing Nika. She gave her a smile and a wave. "Hey!"
- whaIing: "Psychology Major. And yea, I'm livin in the domrs right now but I'll get used to it one way or another. He close-mouth smiled, then looking at the girl who Freedom waved to. He gave her a faded wave, then directing his attention back at her. "Who the people I should be aware about at school here?"
- Covet: Hi Freedom, How are you doing? -She asked with a smile taking a sip from her coffee- And Hello -She gave the guy a wave as well-
- Tsaaq: Freedom rose her eyebrows and nodded her head at him. "You gonna be a pyschologist?" She whispered then forced a smile. "That's cool." She sighed. "Well... There's like a main group of people that everybody be talking about like my roommate Raksha, she popular or something." Freedom shrugged. "Then there's her brother who's missing so be careful out here-" She smiled up at Nika. "I'm good girl, how you?" She asked.
- Covet: Wait people are missing? I had read that online, but I just thought it was some hoax thing. -Nika said than gave a forced smile as she spoke- I'm doing fantastic. Things have never been better. -The statement was rather forced-
- whaIing: Nodding he leaned his elbow agains the wood table, his strong jawline on his palm. "People going missing, that ain't anything new." He huffed, sketching the tattoo on his ring finger.
- Tsaaq: "Yeah but... That don't make it okay?" She said to Connor. "Shit, pardon me. Nika, this is Connor, Connor this my girl Nika. She real nice." She waved her hand between the two of them. "My friend Effie got a text from Rohan saying he was kidnapping people and that he was killing himself." She sighed. "At least you okay, stay safe."
- Covet: Nice to meet you Connor. -Nika said politely giving another wave, before she just gawked at Freedom- Wow? Really... That's intense. Was there any indication that he was well... not right in the head?
- whaIing: Connor shrugged, about to respond to Freedom, then glacning at Nika. "You too." He grinned at her, then turning his attention back to Freedom. "When did I say that makes it okay? I'm saying, people go missing all over the world and they were innocent people. But we ain't talking about them? Why give special treatment to the people getting kidnapped near us?" He noticed he was going a bit on a rant, but didn't really care. "Anywyas, I'm just saying."
- Tsaaq: She shook her head. "No!" Freedom answered quickly. "This shit is mad uncalled for. It's mad sus." She said in a small voice. She looked over to Connor and bit the inside of her cheek."I guess that's true..." She muttered, not really wanting to argue as she lowered her head.
- Covet: -Nika stared at him while he talked reaching for her coffee taking a long sip from it while Connor ranted off a storm- Um... Because people getting kidnappes is bad regardless of where it's at or if we know them or not? And if it hits close to home we should care more for our own personal saftey? It's a general concern for humanity I suppose.
- Covet: *kidnapped
- whaIing: He laughed, looking over at Nika. " 'Cause you're so holier than thou, aye? Everynight you bitch about the other people around the world who got kidnapped? That's dedication. I don't know the guy, I hope he's okay but he's just like any other kidnapped person to me."
- Covet: Excuse me, I wasn't "bitching" -she said lifting up her hands in quotes- I'm not even religous, I just care about humanity. I'm sorry that's so offensive to you. But you don't have to be religious to care about people, Freedom said it was her roomates brother.... That kind of hits close to home for her, how could she not think about it and be worried. You invalidating her fear is a bit rude, That's something I'd expect you to know as a psychology major was it? -Nika said, sipping her coffing non-chalantly as she got sassy.-
- Tsaaq: She bit the inside of her cheek once Nika came to her defense. "It's aiight, I mean... I-" Freedom stammered to say as she lifted her head. She looked between the two of them as she lifted her hands. "Let's just chill, aiight." She said hurriedly.
- whaIing: He looked at Freedom, with a big dumb wide smile, scoffing. "She being for real right now?" He looked back to her, placing his elbows on his knees and leaning forward. "I don't know what you ain't getting, but you just shoveling bullshit into your own mouth and claiming it's from me. I ain't gonna repeat myself, but just letting you know how fuckin' stupid you sound. As a psychology major, I wasn't invalidating her fear. I was tellin' her I don't get how people feel bad for people getting kidnapped in the town versus all over the world where people don't even acknowledge. Jesus Christ." He rolled his eyes then turned back around. "Never said nothing about religion."
- Covet: As a Psychology major, your statement shoulnd't be that you don't get it, but instead learn to understand it. How can you be a psychologist if you can't at least pretend to know what Empathy is? -Nika said keeping her cool and speaking calmly- I believe by referencing the bible with the statement, "Cause you're so holier than though, aye" You implied religion to be a factor in compassion. When no, some people just feel it more than yourself. Course I'm not entirely sure what to expect when a future Psychologist is covered in tattoos, that say such things as... "Wish you were here" on a gravestone. Because that's going to fill your future patients with comfort. Not everyone around here can pretend to be bad and tough hiding behind tattoos, so the idea that a kidnapper is out there, causing harm to people, is a little terrifying and concerning. Perhaps putting yourself in people's shoes more often will help you understand how other people feel Empathy. -Nika gave a soft smile and looked at Freedom still speaking calmly- I'm sorry that you are worried, Is there anything I can do to help make you feel safer?
- Tsaaq: Her eyes widened once her protests were overlooked. She grit her teeth and shrugged her shoulders at Connor. She looked over to Nika as she spoke, her mouth hanging open. "Shit." She whispered with her eyebrows raised. "I'm good, thank you so much for your support." Freedom told her calmly, hoping the back and forth was finally over.
- whaIing: He placed his hand on his head, then staring at her with his brows furrowed. "Woah, you like in love with me or something? Jesus. Look I don't care that much about some dumb shit like this to go on a rant about it. You obviously seem to not understand references and it gets better when you got a stick up your ass, trust me my mom did too. You seem to be really mad and trying to prove a point that ain't there and quite frankly, I really don't fucking care." Connor laughed glancing at his tattoo on his hand. "Maybe I should get a tattoo that says "Fuck Psychology"."
- Covet: Well then perhaps you shoulnd't go on a rant to begin with if you aren't properly prepared to debate the things you prattle on about. -She said with an amused laugh- But don't flatter yourself, with the idea that I'm in love you or mad, I'm far from it. I'm honestly just ashamed by you in all sense of the word. So if you feel like you need to mock yourself with such a tattoo, as you wish. -Nika couldn't help but smirk watching the guy get flustered, glancing at Freedom giving her a friendly look- More than happy to do so.
- Tsaaq: Freedom sat there awkwardly. "Aiight aiight, let's just chill." She laughed nervously. "Let's just talk about something else or some shit?" Freedom looked between the two of them, nodding at Nika. "Thank you again, it's aiight though."
- whaIing: He groaned outloud, loudly so that people start staring at her. He just wanted her to shutup. "I ain't trying to debate though? I said my rant, and wasn't asking for your input. Quite frankly, you weren't even in the conversation to begin with... You one of those weirdo girls that don't got friends so you just gotta push yourself into friendships?" Connor shrugged. "Agreed. This was never that big of a deal to begin with."
- Tsaaq: "Aye! Don't say shit like that to people!" Freedom said angrily, her voice raising now. "How would you feel if somebody tried you like that? I get y'all disagree but thats aiight. People disagree, we people. We cool?" She sighed.
- whaIing: *him
- whaIing: oops
- whaIing: [*oops]
- Tsaaq: ((s'okay.))
- whaIing: "Shit, if somebody said that shit to me I'd just be like shit you probably right." Connor chuckled, scratching his head.
- Covet: If you're going to give a statement, so ostentatious, in a public setting, you should really be prepared to debate it, or risk the option of looking completely stupid. -Nika said, then shrugged off his comment about her not having friends, clearly he didn't know, nor care to know- I just didn't want you giving her flack for being worried, when this is something that directly effects her. That's rude, and uncalled for. I'm cool as a cucumber here. -She said smiling still, never once raising her voice.-
- HoodedVigilante: -Derek was at a press conference for this weekend, he had been texting Freedom, and when he found out where she was, he drove over to her as soon as his press conferance was over, he pulled his car into a parking spot and got out of the car, he was still in his dress shirt and tie, along with black dress pants, and a pair of nice shoes. Derek walked to the door of the cafe and opened it, smiling as he saw Freedom and Nika, his two favorite people, he walked torward them seeing a random guy, he sent him a nod and chimed in- Whats going on guys?
- Tsaaq: She pursed her lips at Connor then shrugged. She let out an exhaled of relief once they were done. Freedom smiled at Derek and waved at him. "Heeey, wassup. We just chillin'" She told him.
- whaIing: "Ok, sweetiepie." He laughed loudly, leaning back in his chair and crossing his ankles over the other under the table. A guy walked over to the two girls, addressing them while also sending him a nod. "I don't even know this kid, what the fuck." Connor whispered under his breath, just loud enough that Freedom could hear him. He tuned them out and just looked around the cafe for someone else to talk to.
- Covet: Hey Derek. Look at you all professional. -She smiled giving him a wave as he walked over- Just discussing current events is all. How are you?
- HoodedVigilante: Im good gorgeous, and yea - Derek looked down at his attire- I just came from the fight press conference, I had my final interveiw before the event this weekend, all thats left is the weigh ins, and then I get to beat his ass- he looked at Freedom- Not shit, Not sit- he looked at the male, seeing that he whispered something, but couldnt make out what he said, he ignored them..but noted that he was ignored as well, he sat down and looked at the group- Im gonna chime in more.what events? Everyone all right?
- Tsaaq: "That's Derek." Freedom told Connor in a regular volume cause she wasn't aware as to why he was speaking so quietly. She pointed in his direction. "This is Connor, he friends with Tina." She said to him, pursing her lips. "Yeah, you are looking all handsome and professional and shit." Freedom smirked. She started to frown again and shrugged. "You know... The shit I was talking to you about last night with Shay and her brother."
- whaIing: He shook his head. "Let's not talk about these events. Uh don't think anyone wants to start up the debate again." When Freedom began to talk about it, Connor turned to her, his eyes squinting. "Mhm."
- Covet: I figured you'd been pretty busy lately with all this fight stuff, since you haven't answered me lately. -She said directly to Derek- I need to set something up this weekend -she said urging the hint a little bit towards him, with a more serious look, before she sipped her coffee- Tina.... The one who might be pregnant, according the the lovely rumor mill?
- HoodedVigilante: -Derek nodded and reached his hand out to Connor- Nice to meet you bro, Im Derek- he ssmiled at Freedom- Thanks, I tried, I went all out almost this time...its going to be a big weekend- he shrugged hearing about the events- man, I tried to help people, they want to act like dicks and bitches, so fuck them- he looked over at Nika and lowered his head- Yea...I have to talk to you about that- he nodded at her- yes..it will be set up. Il text you about it tonight alrigt?- he looked around- Look, Tina isnt pregnant, fucked her and two days later she felt all sick, I busted on her face or some shit, if she is pregnant, Shit aint mine
- whaIing: He raised his brows and almost choked when she mentioned pregnancy. "Christina's pregnant? Holy shit, you for real?" He looked between Freedom and Nika, Connor ready to spring up and visit her at the doctor. "She told me she was at the doctor for strep throat." He looked at Derek with his hand out. "Dude what the fuck?" Connor groaned. "What type of fuckin' guy.." He trailed off to himself.
- Tsaaq: Freedom looked between Nika and Derek, raising an eyebrow but then shrugging it off. "You welcome. You know I'm rooting for your ass." She gave him a playful thumbs up. Her face fell as she bit her lip. "Oh lord." Freedom whispered as she shook her head. "She ain't pregnant. She can't be. It's just a dumbass rumor, chill." She told Connor.
- Covet: Oops, apparently that wasn't common knowledge.... -Nika said with a frown, glancing at Derek seeing the way he reacted.- Okay.... yeah sure, that works for me. -She tried not to show her amusement at the drama blow up about the possible, not possible pregnancy.- Should we start going around campus handing out condoms? Seems like a friendly reminder could be used.
- HoodedVigilante: Thank you- he looked at Freedom and smirked- I need all the support I can get- he raised a brow looking at the new guy- The hell...damn dude, you act like you love her or some shit- he snapped a look at Nika and shook his head- Come on now, dont be a smart ass- he moved his hand back and scratched his head- somebody shit in boys cheerios
- whaIing: He shook his head. "Na man it's just common courtesy. No one trying to hear about your sex shit or where you do or don't fuckin' "bust". Then you talking about "Shit ain't mine I don't love her, I'm just her friend." He scratched his head, placing his hands on his lap and grinding his teeth.
- whaIing: [* "She could've been fucking three other guys for all we know, J chill."]
- Tsaaq: Freedom pouted a little as she looked between them. "I unno... They should be able to get they own condoms?" She suggested awkwardly then looked between Derek and Connor. "I thought that's how all dudes talked..." She trailed off.
- Covet: No I'm being serious here, not just a smart mouth. -Nika said with a laugh, taking another drink from her coffee, then shrugged- But I am feeling sassy, today. So it could just be leftover from earlier. -Nika looked at Freedom- Has been in my experience.
- HoodedVigilante: Oh yea?- he smirked- I dont like you yeling at me bro, get out of my face- he started to mak motions with his hands- Bro..I bent the bitch over on her bed, I held her fat ass in my hands and I -hemade a fist and started to slowly punch the palm of his free hand- Bro..I was fuck...SHEW- he smired leaning back in the chair- Is tht common courtesy?- he looked over at Nika and then at Freedom- Okay...Il get codoms. Shit
- whaIing: He shrugged. "We talk about fucking girls, not how we fuck them. At least none of my friends did." Connor looked over at Derek, looking him up and down. "Wow bro really that is so fucking rad!" He imitated him. "Dumbass."
- Tsaaq: She frowned widely as she looked over to Nika while Derek described him fucking this bitch. "Hey! Don't be mean!" Freedom said with a pout. "We can't just chill?"
- Covet: -Nika stared at the guys having their big dick contest and blinked, then looked over at Freedom- Anyways, so did you happen to go to any of the Women's March events this last weekend?
- HoodedVigilante: -he looked at Freedom and leaned back in his chair- Fine, fine, Il shut up- he looked over at Freedom and smirked, then he looked at Nika- That stuff was crazy man, it was cool, but mannn people were pissed. Who cares though, I liked the walking vaginas they had
- whaIing: He leaned onto his elbows, looking at Nika. "I went to the one in New York with my mom and my brothers. We went to the mini-protest beforehand too with fuckin' Jaden Smith and Shia Labeouf it was a lituation."
- Tsaaq: Freedom turned to Nika and rose her eyebrows a moment. "Oh, I unno. I knew it was happening, my sister was talking about that though. She know a lot more 'bout politics than me." She shrugged her shoulders. "Oh that's cool... I like Jaden Smith." Freedom whispered as she pursed her lips, feeling lame. "Walking vaginas? You would." She shook her head.
- Covet: A what? A Lituation? Is that really a word? -Nika said with a laugh, raising a eyebrow- Oh, You mean the art instalment at the Museum of the Moving Image? Yeah, that looks pretty cool. It's going to be there for the next four years. I might have to make a trip in to check it out. Along with the museum of course. -Nika looked at Derek, trying not to laugh at Freedom's comment, agreeing with her silently.-
- HoodedVigilante: They had like vagina hats or some shit- he laughe and then nodded- Yea, that pod cast thing is still running, Shia like got in some dudes face, and the dude tried to kiss him- he shrugged- But hey, I dont judge-he looked at Nika, she was smart, alot smarter then he was he shrugged- We should all go...well, us three at least. I dont know if this dude can handle the trip with me, wouldnt shake my hand, and was whispering as soon as i came in here- he shugged- Oh well though
- whaIing: He laughed slightly, beginning to realize Nika wasn't all that annoying. "Yea, A lit situation. A lituation. Yea everyone was just jumping up and down and yelling it was so much fucking fun."
- Tsaaq: "Oh my god, we should go to that shit." Freedom said with a small gasp. "I always wanted to go to the Museum of The Moving Image! It should be mandatory with my major anyways." She said with a small wave of her hand. "You wanna go to a museum?" Freedom asked Derek playfully. "Aiight, let's do it-" She looked to Connor. "Uh uh, I can't do shit like that. That's too much. I'm for the cause I guess."
- Covet: Oh right.. Slang terms. -Nika said shaking her head- I think it would be a blast. I'm not all about politics persay, but I'd like to go to see the people and the support. It'd be inspiring to say the least. -Nika grinned happy that the conversation had moved along to better topics.- Plus the museum would be amazing on it's own too. Count me in for the trip.
- HoodedVigilante: -he pulled his phone out for a quick moment, sending off a text, he set his phone in his lap and smiled at them, no really pitching in to half the shit they were saying- he looked at Freedom and raised a brow- Yea, lets go? - he shrugged- Yea,Ithink some people go out there just to get seen on a natonal live stream. Just to make a fool of them selves. But the people that go there for the right reasons, kudos to them man. And so be it. Il plan this shit
- Tsaaq: She pursed her lips. "I'm more into the museum than anything." Freedom waved her hand. "Yeah right. Good for them. That just ain't for me. I don't like being in big crowds. People want to touch you and try it and shit." Freedom said with a raise of her eyebrow.
- whaIing: [sorry I was getting dinner]
- whaIing: He sat back for a while, letting them do their banter. He wasn't one for jumping into group plans and all that shit. "Yea.. I like that shit. Guess it different as a girl.." He grinned. "I like those big ass concerts and just fucking packed places where you jumping all around and getting fuckin' crazy man, live Gov Ball. You ever been?" He asked Freedom, gesturing his hand towards her.
- Covet: -Nika stared at Connor while he talked then shook her head- I just like watching people, studying them. That sort of thing. But I don't know if I'd like to be right in the middle and thick of it... But for what I want to do, It's something I'll have to get used to. Never been to a large over packed concert either. -She felt her phone go off in her bag and reached into pull it out seeing the message and responding.-
- HoodedVigilante: -He sent off another text, still listening to them in the distance, he looked at Freedom and nodded- Yea, cities like that are something else. Everyones in a hurry and what not too. Its not necceary at all I mean...it hapens though, i dont mind large concerts, theres nothing like being in an octogan with alarge group around you cheering though
- Tsaaq: She pursed her lips as she crossed her arms over her chest, nodding at Derek. "Right, cause you addicted to applause probably." She laughed a little before she turned to Connor. "Oh, no I ain't ever been to that..." She answered with a weak shrug. She leaned her elbows on the table.
- whaIing: "Nothing's like the city. You could give me a huge mansion in suburbia, but I'll take a crappy loft in Manhattan anyday." He smirked, leaning back in hsi chair with his arms crossed. "You know where I never been? The Bronx Zoo. Homey family shit like that has never caught my attention."
- Covet: The Bronx Zoo is pretty fun. My mom and I used to go a lot when I was little. The penguins are my favorite. -Nika said with a smile- I don't mind visiting the city, but I like being out and away from that a little more.
- HoodedVigilante: I mean, i wouldnt say that just becausey ou havent been to the bronx zoo, that would make it a homey family shit. You can go buy yourself- he chuckled- Its a zoo. - he looked at Freedom- Nooooo its not hat at all, I just like beating people up. I get a thrill off of it and i like the zoo too- he chuckled- I like aquariums too
- Tsaaq: "I love the Bronx zoo... I would go there all the time. I aint ever been to the empire state building." Freedom trailed off. "I like bears." She pouted her lips a moment as she leaned her cheek against her hand, shaking her head at Derek. "Aiight calm down tiger." She winked a moment and sputtered her lips. "Aquariums is fish yo. And the ones that aint fish is whales and dolphins and shit. They too big." She laughed. "Bears be cuter than fish."
- whaIing: "Never see people going to the Zoo for a thrill, do you? It's family shit." Connor laughed quietly, shaking his head side to side by what he said. "When I was real fuckin' young, my older brother would take me to the Central Park Zoo and I loved the tigers."
- Tsaaq: ((My friend has been on the phone with me for like, forever lmao.))
- Covet: Bears are pretty cute. Panda Bears. I'm jealous of their rolling and laziness. -She looked at Connor- Are you kidding, I love going for the thrill and fun of it. Some of the animals are really fun. Have you ever watched a Tiger bat around a bowling ball like it was a ping pong ball? It's truely amazing and impressive.
- Covet: [Bye Felicia, We got shit to do! XD]
- Tsaaq: ((He's been talking about makeup for like two hours lmaoooo.))
- Covet: [XD Well... Makeup is kind of important...so I can see why it's taking so long]
- Tsaaq: ((OKAY BUT, UGH NEVERMIND LOL.))
- HoodedVigilante: -he nodded listening to them- Agreeable- he chuckled- The zoo is fun, no matter who you are, or wether yo are by yourself and shit. Il go right now if i could
- Covet: [XD]
- whaIing: He chuckled, almost doubled over at Nika's comment. "You think the ZOO is thrilling?" He couldn't help himself. "Need to hang out with me more, I'll show you what real thrills are."
- whaIing: [I bought 53 things from ulta for my birthday gift, I am a makeup addict]
- Tsaaq: She nodded her head at Nika and smiled. "Right! Bears is where it's at-" She laughed before humming the song 'Panda' cause that's what I'd do cause I'm annoying. "I get broads in Atlanta." Freedom sang, lifting her arms into an adorable dab. "Zoos can be thrilling!" Freedom said in Nika's defense. "Boy, the zoo ain't open right now." She shook her head at Derek. "I think..."
- Covet: -Nika smiled at Freedom and her response, clapping, then nodded- There you go! But yeah probably not right now. -She said with a laugh- Yeah, not everyone needs cliff jumping, or fast driving and who know's what else to have a thrill.
- HoodedVigilante: I know they arent- he laughed looking at Freedom- Thats why I said if i could...duhh- he looked between Connor and Nika and started laughing- Oh shit, hes on the prowl. Daaaaadum Daaaaadum Daaaad Daaaadumdadumdadum- he started to mock the jaws theme song then standing up, walking to the register to order a caramel latte, he came back and sat down to watch what happened, he smirked listening to Nika- Nope, some people just need some netflix, and hot cocoa or some shit to have fun
- whaIing: He shook his head. "You know, I think with my dick usually most of the time, but not all the time. That's all you buddy." He said to Derek, scoffing. "I guess but I think if you were to ask someone what's more thrilling, seeing bears at the zoo or skydiving, I think majority would say the latter."
- Tsaaq: "Bears are mad thrilling." Freedom whispered begrudgingly with a pout. She sat up, glancing at Nika. "Right, I hate driving fast. I seen mad commercials about how that's bad." She said. She looked between Connor and Derek. "I don't get it."
- Covet: -Nika rolled her eyes and shook her head at Derek, looking back at Connor- Well it looks like in this particular poll... that your answer would be the minority. Sorry, not sorry. -Nika said with a shrug and a smile.- Three out of four people say Thrilling is different for each person. Nobody is saying that sky diving isn't thrilling, or less thrilling than bears. Just that we find bears and other things, ...Thrilling. Can we move on to tomorrow's word of the day now. -She said with a mock frantic whine, beginning to hate the word-
- HoodedVigilante: Nah...see netflix and chocolate doesnt have to be fucking someone....so HA! WHats thrilling ti me is...spending time with good people, doing good shit, I dont have to fuck anybody- he shrugged- Thrilling to me is visiting those kids in the hospital, that shit is thrilling. I dont need to climb a fucking mountain to get my goosebumps all stiff.
- whaIing: [afk shower]
- Tsaaq: ((tyt.))
- Covet: [tyt]
- Covet: Get my goosebumps all stiff. Can I quote that from you sometime? That was beyond poetic. -She said giving him a sarcastic smirk- But look at you being proud about it now. Kudos. -Her tone was more serious this time.-
- Tsaaq: "Awwww." Freedom cooed as she listened to Derek. "That is so nice." She said with a smirk. "Right." She said, nodding at Nika. "Be proud to be good. There's a lot of people who be trying to not be good on purpose."
- HoodedVigilante: Yea yea- he nodded looking at her- Ive learn to just let things come, im trying to not be such an ass hole to people, he leaned in to Nika and whispered- You wouldnt text back...soo, we can deff get some major cash from that guy, h wants yo sooo fucking bad, its obvious. ANd my other offer still stands- he sat back looking at her, looking at Freedom smiling- I know. I know
- Covet: -Nika looked down at the table and then glanced at where Connor had been sitting. She sighed and looked at him, whispering back- I did too text you back. Check your phone. -She leaned back in her seat, crossing her leg one over the other, while her fingers flew across her screen-
- Tsaaq: She smiled as she gasped with happiness. "That's so great!" She grinned at him then furrowed her eyebrows as she looked at the two of them whispering. Freedom pouted as she turned away a little bit, feeling lost.
- whaIing: [back]
- Tsaaq: ((Wb.))
- whaIing: [ty!]
- Covet: [Webs]
- HoodedVigilante: I didnt get anything after what I had said, I swear- he chuckled lookig at her, he looked at Freedom and nodded to herm taking a sip of his drink- You hear from Shay?
- Tsaaq: ((I've definitely been on the phone for like four hours...))
- HoodedVigilante: Oh wait, here it is- Derek looked at his phone and started replying to a text, he got another text and had to get up- I actually got to run, I will hit you guys up later! - he ran out of the Cafe and drove off
- HoodedVigilante: (gonna make dinner, be back alterr hopefully)
- Covet: -Nika looked annoyed and irritated as she put her phone away in her bag again, finising off her coffee. She looked over at Freedom giving a slight ashamed look before masking it with a soft smile- Guys.... Always so charming. -Her voice was flat-
- Covet: *finishing
- whaIing: Connor came back from the bathroom, walking over the wood floors of the corner of the cafe back to the table. He glanced between Freedom and Nika, noticing that Derek had gone . "Sorry had to take a massive shit." He pulled the chair out, sitting on it and then moving himself back under the table.
- Tsaaq: She was about to answer Derek but before she could he was already speeding out of the door. Freedom turned to Nika again, pouting a little bit once she noticed her expression. "Yeah..." She looked over to Connor, scrunching up her face at him as she gagged a little bit.
- Covet: Attractive. -Nika said. The flat tone still in her voice, hardly anymore impressed with the other male specimen at this point-
- whaIing: "Thanks I try." He trailed off, looking Nika up and down trying to read her mood. He dismissed it however, glancing back at Freedom. "so what we doing now?"
- Tsaaq: Freedom attempted to fix her face once he addressed her. "We?" She repeated. "I dunno?" Freedom answered unsurely with her eyebrows raised.
- whaIing: He furrowed his brows as she questioned the we. He smirked, pushing out of his chair and standing before the two "Mhm. I see. Well I going to the skate park." He began to walk away, then quickly turning and walking backwards. "Nice to meet the both of you."
- Covet: Yeah, great to meet you too, bye -Nika said politely looking back down at her book- I might be ordering another coffee and reading for a bit.Outside of that, I'm not really sure what my plans are for tonight.
- Tsaaq: "Oh... Um..." Freedom trailed off. "Okay, be safe?" She called out as she waved at him. "See you, Connor." She forced a smile before turning to Nika and shrugging. "You ain't busy or nothing right? We could chill if you want?" She suggested.
- Covet: Sure, I'd like that. -Nika said with a smile- Not busy at all. -Nika said, leaving her book there- Do you want to stay here? or we could move over to the corner, or someplace else?
- Tsaaq: ((>.>))
- Covet: [<.<]
- Covet: [Mexican standoff?]
- Tsaaq: ((LMAO NO.))
- Tsaaq: She got up from her seat and moved to a different more elusive part of the cafe, basically already answering her question. She stood near her chair as she waited for Nika. "Over here looks good." She called over to the other female as she waved her over.
- Covet: [Gonna go sit where the cool kids sit... pfft.]
- Tsaaq: ((It's just a nice box lmao.))
- Covet: -Nika got up with her and made her way over to sit down- This nice and casual. That being said, I have to say I'm not impressed with the male population at this point. All the more reason to focus on school. -she gave a light chuckle-
- Tsaaq: Freedom frowned a little bit as she nodded her head. "Right..." She whispered as she lowered her head. "I will admit, I was doing better when I wasn't really bothering with boys..." She sighed, crossing her arms.
- Covet: It's fascinating how they can completely derail you from your goals, and how quickly it could be done. -She said shaking her head- But enough about that nonsense. I'd rather talk about something else.
- Tsaaq: "I unno... I just feel like-" She began to say then shrugged her shoulders. "Right, right. Ain't no reason to be all sad and shit. I like try to and be positive." Freedom forced a smile.
- Covet: Well if you'd like to talk about it... We can. I'm all ears really. I just didn't want to dwell on it if you didn't. -Nika said awkwardly.-
- Tsaaq: Freedom started to frown as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Well..." She trailed off. "You can't tell anybdy though, like you gotta promise before I start talking. Cause everybody around here be fucking up and tell everybody's secrets."
- Tsaaq: ((I almost typed pizzas instead of secrets lmao.))
- Covet: [XD lmao...HOW!? ]
- Tsaaq: ((IDK LMAO))
- Covet: -Nika looked over at her and gave a genuine smile, holding out her pinky finger for her- Pinky promise, I won't say a word. I don't really care for notoriety or drama.
- Tsaaq: She went to curl her pinky around Nika's and nodded. Freedom lowered her hand and swallowed hard. "Aiight so... I unno where to even start." She sighed. "Okay, so you know Derek right?" She asked, basically to buy time cause once she realized she was about to talk about this the more embarrassed she became.
- Covet: -Nika gave her pinky a squeeze before she pulled her hand back, listening to her- Yeah... Of course.... Did...something happen between the two of you? -She asked her noticing her physical response as she got quiet-
- Tsaaq: "Well... Yeah." Freedom trailed off. She looked over to Nika and inhaled deeply. "Aiight so we had sex." She admitted. "And we have sex and shit, and I feel bad but not really... I don't really got nobody to talk to about it or give me advice about it cause nobody got the same morals as me... And I feel bad cause I lied to him and told him I've had sex with other guys before but he was really my first." Freedom began to explain with a frown.
- Covet: -Nika listened to her and did her best to keep her composure as Freedom spilled the beans about her boy drama. Nodding her head she gave her a supportive smile- It's alright, I don't have religion or anything, but I'm usually pretty good about being a good person. I know that's somethign people around here say a lot it seems. But your secret is safe with me and if you need someone to talk to, I'm happy to listen and give the advice that I can. -Nika offered.- I think that if you feel bad about lying to him, you should tell him the truth.
- Tsaaq: She pouted while nodded her head. "But then he's not gonna want to talk to me or nothing..." Freedom sighed. "I mean, I do real good at acting like I know what I'm doing but really I'm winging it." She shrugged. "I like him and all, and I like hanging out with him. I don't want him to know that I was just a loner or whatever." She took a deep breath.
- Covet: Do you want my honest oppinion? -Nika asked her.- I think if he likes what he's getting, that one little thing isn't going to keep him from talking to you. Though, be prepared, it might give him a bit of an ego. But if you explain all of this to him I think he'll take it okay. -Nika gave her a soft encouraging smile-
- Tsaaq: Freedom inhaled deeply again while thinking. Her eyebrows rose a little as she looked over to Nika. "I should prolly tell him then..." Freedom whispered. "After we do it or something, that way he could already be in a good mood and shit." She nodded her head as she looked to Nika. "Wow, thank you so much for helping me. Everybody else makes me feel mad dumb!" She sighed.
- Covet: Yeah, there you go. That's the right idea. It helps that guys like him are simple to please that way. -Nika said with a laugh- You're welcome, It's really not that complicated, just need to listen and have someone to bounce ideas off of. Happy to help out. -She said putting on a brave face, because she felt a bit guilty, but her work with Derek was stricktly business.-
- Tsaaq: She smiled at Nika. "Right. People are mad self centered though. I feel like I never get to talk about shit cause I'm busy trying to help everybody else." Freedom sighed. "It's aiight though. You seem okay. Like how Effie was before Rohan made her spent a shit load of time with him... Still I feel bad thinking that now that he missing and shit." She pouted.
- Covet: -Nika nodded- Yeah, Well I don't have anything going on -she lied, vehemently- So I'm here to help you out, especially if you're helping everyone else. Everyone needs someone. -She gave her a friendly smile that dropped when she saw her pout and talk about the other people from earlier- Yeah. That's all rather unfortunate. I hope everything ends up being okay.
- Tsaaq: Freedom smiled at her. "Well it's okay fair that I be there for you too if she does go down." She nodded. "Yeah... I better make sure this bitch is okay. She's having a real rough time." She sighed as she took out her cellphone. "My roommate I mean."
- Covet: Thanks Freedom. You're sweet, I appreciate it. -she said in a genuine tone.- Alright Well it was great to sit and visit with you. I enjoyed the company. Sorry your roomate is having a rought time. Send my regards along? -she asked-
- Tsaaq: She turned to face Nika and nodded at her. "Well, I mean, we can exchange numbers if you like, and if you aint busy later we can chill? Or any other time really." Freedom shrugged. "I will, she needs all the support she can get-" She looked down at her phone and sighed. "Apparently everything is aiight, for now."
- Covet: Oh sure, Why didn't ai think of that? -Nika said then pulled her phone out of her bag and handed it over to her- Feel free to add yourself in. -She said then glanced over- Oh, It is? That's good... I think... Do you believe that everything is actually alright?
- Tsaaq: Freedom pursed her lips and shook her head. She took Nika's phone and typed her number in. "I unno, usually when Raksha says one thing she means another. She be lying a lot." She sighed and handed Nika's phone back. "Enough about my rachetness, what about you girl?" Freedom smiled.
- Covet: -Taking her phone back she looked over at her- Ah... Why does she do that though? Seems like it would be counter productive. -Nika balked for a second when she asked about her own life- Uh.. well... Only my mom is in the picture, and she runs this inn. And I'm going to school for Journalism. Not a whole lot to me. I like reading... -She added trailing off, glossing over the more shitty parts of life at the moment-
- Tsaaq: "I unno... She be saying she won't say shit I tell her and then she does. That's why I can't trust her." Freedom explained. She nodded while listening to Nika. "Ohhhh cool cool." She said softly, Freedom had her whole family, which at times she found burdensome. But she was taking everything in perspective. "I read but like, not a lot or nothing." Freedom said. "So you and me kinda gonna be working closely. Unless you doing print media?"
- Covet: Isn't that hard to live with someone you can't trust? -Nika asked her.- Well, Right now I'm just doing any and all writing that I can. Weather it's digital or print. I really want to travel, and write about those adventures. Even if it's just to local places.
- Tsaaq: She pursed her lips a moment. "Well... I thought living with my aunt was shitty so I asked her... I knew she had money and shit, and she was my friend. So I figured I'd stay there until I figure shit out." Freedom sighed. "Everybody can change if they try?" She shrugged hopefully. "That sounds so dope, Nika." Freedom smiled at her. "You could be like a field journalist?"
- Covet: Oh, okay I understand. That's true, maybe your influence there on her will help make her into a more honest person? -Nika said looking at the positive, then grinned- Yeah, exactly. I just want to experience people and cultures and food. -She said, her passion about this showing-
- Tsaaq: Freedom nodded. "Right! Exactly!" She said with a smiled. "Well... If I get a come up, and somebody ask me if I know anybody who does journalism shit you gonna be the first person I reccomend." She laughed a little. "That's a long shot though. Maybe not? Apparently to people I'm sexy A-F. And I think Imma start using that to get shit done for my career and shit." Freedom shrugged.
- Covet: Thanks Freedom. That would be fantastic. -Nika said excitedly- What is it that you're wanting to do for your career? -She asked then added in comment- If you could use it for your brand, I would say go for it. Nothing wrong with accepting your body and being proud of it.
- Tsaaq: She smiled at her. "Of course girl." She laughed. "Well I sorta write now, mostly comedy stuff. And guys in my classes always want me in they videos which makes sense now. But what I really really really wanna do is be a producer. But that's mad work, so I wanna start out doing like, camera operating, editing and stuff. That's what I'm good at. Guys think cause I got nails I won't work hard but pfft fuck outta here."
- Covet: That's really awesome. I could see you taking control and being a great boss producer. Especially where you want to learn from the bottom up and be knowledgable of the full business. It takes some serious initiative. I'll make sure that if I'm ever availabe to catch some of your future works, I'll give you a fantastic review.
- Tsaaq: "Awww you sweet." She waved her hand at her. "For now I'm just making dumb instagram videos." Freedom shrugged her shoulders as she laughed again. "Thank you so much though. It takes a lot to be in this industry so kudos to you too..." She trailed off and glanced at her phone again. "It's pretty late huh?"
- Covet: Yeah, I should really be getting home. I've got class tomorrow. But thanks for hanging out. It was a great visit. Feel free to message me whenever if you're bored or would like to hang out. -Nika said, putting her phone back into her bag as she went to get up-
- Tsaaq: Freedom nodded her head at Nika as she got up. She grabbed her purse and stood to her feet as well. "Of course, I'll hit you up whenever." She told her with a nod. "Aiight, make sure you get home safe okay?" She told her, waving her index finger at her a moment.
- Covet: Definitley. You too! -Nika said to her then made her way out of the cafe, heading back to her home.-
