  1. I took one look at the old dude, head throbbing, mind swimming, eyes diving and surfacing in and out of focus. He looked kinda sad, really. No, just like the boy in the yellow shirt, this guy didn't seem like the same guy who hit me after all.
  2. The blinding fluorescent light of the garage gave way to the softer yellow light of the kitchen, and the strain of my eyes were relieved a bit. A blonde woman stood at the counter, sipping on some red wine. "Morty! Oh my god, what happened? Is she alright?"
  3. "Y-yeah, mom. I mean, I-- she will be. Rick's not too worried." Good ol' Morty, putting his faith in Rick without ever asking why.
  4. "I- Do we know each other?"
  5. "Uhhh, you're... sure she'll be alright?" The woman's eyebrows rose to a forward slant, her brow wrinkled with worry.
  6. "Yeah, Beth, she'll be--she'll be fine. Just give her a bit." Rick's tone was defeated but stern. It seemed like these people knew me well, and a glancing thought had me wondering how.
  7. "They did a number on her." Rick continued after a short pause, glancing the gnarly gash on my head. I didn't know what it looked like, but if it looked half as bad as it felt, that was probably for the best.
  8. "Hey Mom, do we have any--Woooahhh Daaaaang, what happened to you?"
  9. "L-leave her alone, Summer. She-she just had, I mean we kind of had to save her."
  10. "Which was all MORTY's fault." Rick shot daggers, and Morty slumped a little.
  11. "Tell me somethin' new." Summer rolled her eyes, opening a can of soda to take a sip.
  12. "Hey, now that's not fair. I know who's fault it was, and it wasn't his." I interjected, though I really wasn't sure why I was defending him. Hell, maybe it was his fault. I mean, technically, that kid with the eyepatch looked exactly like him. Was he some kind of evil twin? I guess twins aren't the same person, though... But how could there be an evil twin of the pair of them? Maybe they were clones gone wrong. My head spun trying to hash it out with so little information.
  13. "Yeah, if you call Morty high-tailing it and leaving you behind not his fault." Rick took another gulp from his flask, and this time, he was on the receiving end of a spiteful glare.
  14. "H-here's your sandwich, Y/N." His tone was apologetic. Bologna and cheese on white bread, not exactly what you were in the mood for, but beggars can't be choosers. You tore into it like a wild dog.
  15. "Woah, woah! Slow down there, tiger. Ever heard of chewing?"
  16. "uFck Wff, Wrck." You flipped him off, mouth full of food.
  17. "Heyyy, there she is! R-EE-member anything yet?"
  18. You took a gulp from a large glass of milk. Your eyes glazed over for a second trying to retrieve some memories only to be hit by a sharp pain, like you'd summoned a knife instead of a thought.
  19. "FUCK! AH. No. Well, wait." Something had been uncomfortable in your underwear since you woke up, and you had a vague recollection that you couldn't quite unfuzz. You dug into your pants, rooting around for whatever it was.
  20. "Oh, -that's- attractive." Summer looked at you with a snark grimace.
  21. "Ah-ha!" You pulled the strap from between your ass cheeks, feeling something scrape lightly against your inner thigh on the way up. There, dangling in your hand, was a black eyepatch.
