[center][b]Chapter 9: Unintended Meeting[/b][/center]

Haku and Pyro had been walking all over the town, looking for info on Sorin but they haven't found any traces of him. "Guess he's not here."

Pyro sighed. "So this place was a dead end."

Haku shrugged. "Oh, well. Let's find go find the inn."

In the tavern, two demonic figures sat on a table, drinking. One wore a cape with a sword at it's hip and the other wore a blindfold with a pike on it's back. The caped demon looked at his partner. "That last job was tough, Beiige."

"I'm just glad I got to battle, Archfiend." Beiige replied.

Archfiend nodded then went pale as he saw Pyro and Haku enter the tavern with their hoods down. "It's the wolf girl and the lightly insane pyromaniac."

"Those two again?" Beiige groaned. "They must be looking for Sorin."

Archfiend nodded. "Let's get out of here before they see us."

"You two again?" Pyro groaned. "What are you doing here?"

"Uhh, we could ask you the same thing." Beiige retorted, pointing a finger at the two.

Haku rolled her eyes. "Yeah, right you two know who we're looking for. We asked you the last tme we met."

Archfiend growled at the memory of their last meeting. "We would've won if it wasn't for you."

Beige stood in between Haku and Archfiend. "Come on, you two. We're not here to fight so let's just talk things out."

Pyro looked at Beiige, surprised. "The hell? Anyway, what do you two know about Sorin?"

"Nothing new since our last meeting." Archfiend replied.

"Oh, thanks anyway." Pyro said and he sat down on a table near the fireplace. He then stared at the fire as Haku shrugged and she sat down as well.

"What was that all about?" Archfiend asked in a whisper.

"I just thought you and I would challenge those two tomorrow." Beiige replied.

Archfiend looked at Beiige. "And how do you know they'll agree?"

Beiige griined wickedly. "Because I have something they want that we'll wager. I've got info."

In the distance, a cloaked figure looked over the town. "He's not here either." The figure said, the voice sounding female. "I'll find him and avenge the one I love." The female figure then disappeared.
