1. As a God.
2. REPRESENTATION: What Yusuke represents to his followers, in a nutshell, is rebellion, strength, and rebirth. He is a god who defied every obstacle that had been thrown at him, even death, through his power and sheer stubbornness, always sticking up for the underdog and following his own path. His temples, while simple, are decked in his colors of green and light blue, and have large spaces within for fighting tournaments and every day brawls and spars, as fighting for pleasure is a HUGE component of his sect. In fact, the priests of said temples are chosen from the strongest of their warriors, their skill and enjoyment for battle making them closer to their patron deity. The phoenix, although rare and mysterious already, is considered to be incredibly sacred among them, as it is said to be a facet of his being, statues of the legendary bird adorning only the most holiest of spots within each temple.

4. Yusuke is seen as a devil-may-care sort of god, not particularly caring about rules or authority, so he appeals to those who desire a little less rigidness in their lives, preferring to enjoy themselves and get stronger than follow orders from somebody else. He is said to have another form, though, one so fearsome that anyone or anything who has invoked it doesn't survive to tell about it. Thankfully, it is only summoned in the direst of circumstances, when the threat to others is too much for his regular powers to bear.

6. FOLLOWERS: His followers seem to stem from the outskirts of society-- street urchins, outcasts, fighters, thieves, and generally a lot of the lower class. As the god of rebellion, he appeals to those who tire of being under the foot of higher forces, and wish to take methods into their own hands. However, as much as they look like scrubby hooligans at first glance, they all possess good hearts, and a fierce drive to protect what matters to them. As opposed to sharing a coloring with their god (because, lets face it, black hair and brown eyes isn't that uncommon in Greece), those born with great strength are said to be blessed, and the strongest (who usually takes the position of priest), are painted with specialized marks upon their bodies, to symbolize their god at his peak. The strongest is almost always decided by a yearly tournament that is held in his honor, whittling down the candiates until the most powerful is victorious. As violent as they are, killing an opponent is strongly prohibited in their practices; one cannot enjoy a fight again if the person they were fighting is dead.

8. On the topic of death, they are highly spiritual, believing that the spirit can find it's way back to it's body, and have probably the oddest funeral ritual out of most of the sects. The body is left for at least a week in the home, in it's former bedroom, in case it happens to revive once more. On record, it has never happened, but considering how legend has it that Yusuke was able to revive twice after certain death, it doesn't hurt to give it a try.

10. They are skilled and effective warriors, almost always training with one another to get stronger, and they fight mostly hand-to-hand when in combat. When push comes to major shove, though, sling shots are used as well. They hardly stick together in groups, preferring to battle and practice on their own, but they show a surprising amount of teamwork when need be.
