The Sandlot Part 1 (Gotta finish two)

<Wrong_Way>: It's a late Saturday night at- well, outside of a shady building and empty lots. Greene and Skyler have been sent to investigate since 1. The S-Wheel landed on their names at the last S-Meeting and 2. They had no plans. The only information is that it's an illegal mutant boxing ring that needs to get shut down.
<Skyler>: "This S-Man stuff isn't quite as glamorous as I imagined it'd be."
<Graine>: "Patrols ain't very fun"
<Skyler>: "I guess not. Feels more like something that the regular police would be doing, to be honest."
<Graine>: "Yeah, sometimes it seems like grunt work, but we'll figure out why we're here soon. Things never are how they seem"
<Skyler>: "I'll take your word on it, sir."
<Graine>: "Drop the sir, we don't need to be so formal"
<Skyler>: "Right, sorry. Still a little green."
<Wrong_Way>: There seems to be nobody to lead them inside, just the door in the front with a peephole.
<Graine>: "I hope you intended the pun"
<Skyler>: "Pun? What do you... oh. Right. Yyyyeeah. Perfectly intentional."
Graine mozies over to the door
Skyler follows
<Wrong_Way>: You're at the door.
Graine first attempts the doorknob
<Wrong_Way>: A very sturdy doorknob for an abandoned building.
<Wrong_Way>: It seems to be locked.
Graine looks in through the peephole
<Something>: no one told me there was a room already]
<Something>: lowgs?]
<Wrong_Way>: [uh, when I meant peephole i meant one of these]

Graine was looking at a door for a few minutes straight]
<Skyler>: "So should we just knock, or what?"
Graine knocks
<Something>: perve]
<Wrong_Way>: The knock seems to have done something as a minute later, the eye slot moves to reveal a pair of old eyes.
<Wrong_Way>: "Oh...are you here for the fight?"
Graine raises an eyebrow
<Graine>: "Yes"
<Something>: hmm?]
<Something>: oh]
<Wrong_Way>: "Well that's good. We were starting to wonder if you got lost or something, ehehehe."
<Skyler>: "We certainly feel that way sometimes, don't we."
Skyler looks at Greene with a "this is some bullshit" look
<Wrong_Way>: You can hear the old man fumble with the locks, occansionally swearing to himself and giving a glance to you guys sheepishly.
<Wrong_Way>: The door finally opens and he holds out the door for you two.
<Wrong_Way>: "I'll lead you down to the locker room. You guys do have costumes, right?"
<Skyler>: "Underwear counts as a costume, right?"
<Wrong_Way>: "I think the last guy though so..."
<Wrong_Way>: "...Didn't do him a whole lot of good."
<Skyler>: "In that case, why don't you whip me up a little something."
<Something>: ?]
*** Something is now known as Someguy
Skyler quickly gets into character as some smugass hotshot and walks through the door in the cockiest manner possible
<Skyler>: "You," he gestures to Greene "remember to get me some water. You know what happened last time."
<Graine>: "Shhhh we don't talk about that"
<Graine>: "There an outfit I can get around here?"
<Wrong_Way>: "I'm sure we've got some skivvies in your size in the locker room, come on...."
Graine heads on in to the lockerroom
Skyler flips his hair and follows
<Wrong_Way>: The locker room looks like one you'd find in a high school or a run down YMCA. The benches have various scribbles on them and damage, one bench looks like it was bitten all over. The lockers are in worse shape, bent and beaten but you probably wouldn't want to put your things in there anyways.
<Wrong_Way>: The old man heads over to the corner and is looking through some wooden crates. He seems very determined to finding one that isn't torn or mysteriously stained.
Skyler stands over the bitten bench, staring at it with a blank expression
<Wrong_Way>: The bitten bench looks like a very large dog thought it was a milk bone. It obviously wasn't.
<Skyler>: "Sooooo, who am I fighting again?"
Skyler takes to leaning against the lockers instead
Graine takes a look around, standing
<Wrong_Way>: "The only guy who wins these fights, the prize jewel here."
<Skyler>: "Right, riiiiight."
Skyler sounds as cocky as he can when he speaks, but he looks at Greene with an expression that can only be interpreted as "intense concern"
<Wrong_Way>: The old man shakes some sand out of a neon green open face spandex suit and shows it to Skyler
Graine looks back at him with a similar expression
<Wrong_Way>: "You think this can fit you sport?"
<Skyler>: "I can make it work."
<Wrong_Way>: He tosses the suit your way.
Skyler catches it, draping his wings over himself as a makeshift changing room. He changes into the suit
<Wrong_Way>: "Yeah, I hope you'll be able to take this guy longer than everyone else has been or else we'll have to start hiring newbies..."
<Wrong_Way>: "But the guy out there right now didn't seem to be doing too bad last time I checked."
<Skyler>: "Good for him. Can we watch?"
<Wrong_Way>: "Well, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt...Alright come on."
<Wrong_Way>: The old man gestures for you to follow him out of the locker room.
Skyler adjusts the suit at the crotch a little, and follows the man
Graine heads on after him
<Wrong_Way>: "There are only two things I can warn you about when we get in there." he says as he leads you both out of the locker room to a set of double doors.
<Wrong_Way>: "It can get really loud in there. And when it gets really loud in there, it gets really sandy."
<Skyler>: "Thanks for the tip."
<Wrong_Way>: The old man opens the door and you instantly get hit with the sudden shouting of a whole crowd of people watching this match in the boxing ring. It's a very large room with a boxing ring in the middle very well lit as two strong looking mutants are duking it out in there.
Skyler watches the fight intently
<Wrong_Way>: You can tell who the champion guy is by the very shiny gold belt he's wearing around his waist. He seems to be doing a good job keeping his title as the other guy seems to be on his last ends and breathing hard.
Skyler looks back to Greene, pulling him in so they're kneeling in one of those super sekrit huddles
<Wrong_Way>: The crowd is shouting for the guy to finish him already but the champion guy seems to be milking this fight for as long as he could.
<Skyler>: "I have no idea how to fight."
Graine raises an eyebrow, looking to him
<Graine>: "Like, at all?"
<Skyler>: "I watched an introductory thing on youtube one."
<Graine>: "Oh... that ain't good"
<Skyler>: "Quick tips to avoid death?"
<Graine>: "Don't assume you can take hits, avoid them as much as you can. Try to react and think fast instead of assault, as if you're outmatched you'll just be beaten down"
<Graine>: "When you see an opening, make sure you hit it. There is no such thing as too cheap a shot"
<Skyler>: "Right, right. Sounds simple enough."
Skyler looks back up to the man
<Skyler>: "So is this like, boxing, or just anything goes?"
<Wrong_Way>: The man seems absorbed into the match until he realizes you said something.
<Wrong_Way>: "Hm? Oh yeah, anything really goes. It probably wouldn't do you any good. We once got a werewolf guy in there who didn't want to wear any gloves and Sandy still took him down."
<Skyler>: "Great, thanks."
Skyler leans back to Greene
<Skyler>: "So, if I die, tell my family and all those folks that I loved 'em."
<Graine>: "I will"
<Wrong_Way>: The match finally finishes up with the crowd cheering as the other guy tumbles down after a swift blow to the head.
<Wrong_Way>: The referee counts him down and then holds up the champion's arm "LET'S HEAR IT FOR MI*SAND*RY!"
<Wrong_Way>: Misandry looks like he's king of the world at this point as everyone watching shouts his name over and over.
Skyler cups his hands around his mouth
<Skyler>: "WOW, WHAT KIND OF SHITTY NAME IS MISANDRY?"
Graine stays silent, watching what skyler seems to be getting himself into
Skyler gives the most smug dickass smirk possible, leaning back his posture some
<Wrong_Way>: The old guy looks at Skyler as if he has a death wish. None of the crowd seems to have notice except Misandry as he looks over to where you two stand and gives you a cold stare.
<Wrong_Way>: The referee calls for a 5 minute break to clean the ring from all the sand.
<Graine>: "I.... hope you know how to dodge"
<Wrong_Way>: The old man looks to Greene. "He better after a comment like that!"
<Wrong_Way>: "Come on, let's get you by the ring. It's almost showtime."
<Wrong_Way>: The old man makes his way through the crowd pushing enough room for you two to follow.
Skyler does a dramatic "suck it" gesture of a crotch chop, and follows the old man
<Skyler>: "Oldest trick in the book, right? Get them pissed and they get sloppy."
<Skyler>: "Or get killed. Y'know."
Graine heads after

<Wrong_Way>: Misandry is busy talking with someone who seems to be angry with him to see your well thought out gesture.
Skyler does a mock flirtatious finger-wiggling as he walks
<Skyler>: "But, I mean, hey! If I die now, people will remember me some asshole in a green spandex suit."
<Skyler>: "So that's good."
<Wrong_Way>: The ring is almost clean from all the sand as you are now next the ring. The old guy lifts one of the ropes for Skyler to enter in. There's a nice stool for you to sit on before Misandry gets into the ring.
Skyler kicks his foot up to rest it on his other leg's knee, leaning back and resting the back of his head on the palms of his hands. He's still got the smugass smirk
<Skyler>: "And now, we wait."
<Graine>: "Hope you're ready for it"
<Skyler>: "Just remember the thing about me loving my family."
<Wrong_Way>: The other guy who got knocked out is still in the ring but the old man drags him out of the ring and takes off the boxing gloves he was wearing.
<Skyler>: "Someone will request freebird at my funeral. Let them lay it. It's an inside joke."
<Wrong_Way>: "You wanna use these? Or do you think you'll do better without them like this schmuck here?"
<Skyler>: "My hands bruise easily, I think I'll take them. Thank you, darling."
Skyler daintily plucks the gloves out f the mans' hands with his wings, and slips them on his hands
<Wrong_Way>: "Good luck kiddo. I've gotta see to this bum here." Oldie McOldson says while dragging the guy away with him.
Skyler salutes Oldie McOldson and resumes sitting like an asshole
<Skyler>: "But I'm serious about the Freebird thing. We vowed that to each other when we were like, 5."
<Graine>: heya, gotta go]
<Graine>: [forget I caaaame]
<Skyler>: [u wot]
<Wrong_Way>: [we can always finish this later if you want.]
<Skyler>: ^]
<Wrong_Way>: [i need to look up more boxing termanology for this anyways]
<Graine>: [mmkay]
<Wrong_Way>: [uh, how'd you guys like it?]
<Skyler>: [I'm liking it]
<Skyler>: [Skyler being a flashy douchebag was one of the ways I originally considered making him, this is a perfect way of doing that]
