BACKGROUND :

Mari grew up surrounded by a loving family, and she was able to grow up in an environment that allowed her to freely express herself. She got a sister when she was four. At five her mother started teaching her english. As a child she was smart and was able to stand out and for that reason her classmates always came to her for answers. She felt used and when she was fourteen was when a girl named Aria transferred into her school  and they became close friends but then Aria had to move. Mari started hiding the fact that's she's a total genius and started pursuing swimming.

PERSONALITY :

Mari is lowkey a genius, yet many people don't really know that because of the fact that she's highkey boy crazy. She falls in "love" with a new guy practically every day and freely express her opinion on them to anyone. She's outspoken, loud, and sometimes says childlike things which is why many of her classmates aren't able to take her seriously. Mari also seems really oblivious and spaces out most of the time, which is why others label her as an airhead, when in reality she's think about other things. For example, she volunteers to help tutor students ages nine to fourteen after school and usually thinks of methods to help them remember what they're learning, so she's thoughtful.

At first glance she seems mysterious since she seems to know about everything before anyone else does because she chooses to watch from afar rather than get involved. But when people start getting close to her they realize that she's actually an open book. Not many have really gotten close to her.

Since Mari is primarily known for her looks, she also seems arrogant and confident. Sometimes she does act like that, but that's unless she's with someone she's super comfortable with. Mari is also cautious around people because she was used by other children for answers as she was growing up, so she thinks people don't want to be her friend and only want to take advantage of her. Since she's wary and doesn't trust others quickly, she isn't the greatest at making best friends. She's social, sure, but she doesn't try to get real close with her "friends". This makes her also seem cold and indifferent towards people which only draw them away.

Mari is loyal forever, once she finds someone to trust. However she hasn't really found that person after Aria moved. Mari is also a really bad liar. She's been told that, yet she still continues to lie terribly.

Mari tries to be as patient as she can, but that sometimes fails and when it does she totally explodes and usually makes the person she's arguing with cry. Or throws a slipper at them. Unless she's really annoyed by someone that does something repeatedly even though they've been told to stop, is when she blatantly shows her dislike towards that person, although she's acted like that many times but whatever.

She's also a hard worker and doesn't believe on giving up on anything she's started. At the same time, Mari doesn't do anything she doesn't want to which has gotten in trouble a whole lot. Mari is also a really touchy person and tends to invade people's personal space which makes her annoying and she doesn't like getting labeled as someone annoying, yet she still does it. She can also be really selfish and not share.

Overall, she's an open book who just wants to be truly seen.

HIS PERSONALITY : he's that one kid in class who seems like he'll be mischievous and cause trouble, when in reality he's just an awkward guy who likes annoying people. he's determined, hardworking and responsible. he can read people really easily and knows how to treat them so he's pretty considerate. he likes showing off, although he fails half the time. he's a really happy person, who spaces out a lot in class and has to ask for notes after, but he's loved by many so they're willing to help.

HOW YOU ACT AROUND HIM :
beginning. Mari treated him as if he didn't exist or would blatantly glare at him, because he usually stole the newspaper before her father could read them and since she's the one responsible to collect the mail and newspaper, her dad blames her which causes her to get annoyed. So annoyed that she throws her slipper to his retreating back. She didn't really like him.

middle. One day, she catches him on her doorstep and notices how nice his eyes are. So that whole day she found herself staring at him a whole lot and he would look back. She'd look away flustered telling herself that it would be gone the next day, so she just accepts it. The next day, he comes to the library that she tutors younger students at, and after finding that out, he decides to come to the library everyday to bother her and to ask her to tutor him. At first she found this annoying but then it grew on her and agreed to tutor him. She then noticed her feelings toward him and decided to treat him differently.

end. Mari finally accepts her feelings and his feelings. She starts getting all touchy, confident, and starts annoying him to no end.

HOW HE ACTS AROUND YOU :
beginning. at first they were just neighbors, so she was just another girl. but one day he saw her smiling at her sister when she was dropping off his sister as he was dropping off his cousin and tripped on a pebble. he fell in love and when he saw how others were misreading her he decided to show his affection by annoying her rather than confessing because why not?? His eyes were always on her and he chose to pretend that her glares were actually full of affection.

middle. on that one day mari looked at him unashamedly, he welcomed her with open arms and would look back. he would feel accomplished for causing her to look away and would always be smiling when she was around. then when he found out how she tutors his cousin, he grows confident and annoys her by acting all childishly. He's really happy, cheerful and pretends that she doesn't make him nervous.

end. he's genuinely happy that she's gotten comfortable enough with him to act all immaturely. he gets even more cheerful than he was before and annoys her whenever she tries to annoy him. he smiles and laughs for no reason whenever she's around.

RELATIONSHIP TRIVIA :
