  1. [21:26] Boreas says, "...."
  2. [21:27] Boreas shuts his eyes tight.
  3. (Boreas)
  4. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  5.
  6. [21:27] Boreas asks, "Tunder?"
  7. [21:27] Tunder asks, "Are you okay?"
  8. [21:27] Boreas says, "..."
  9. [21:27] Boreas grits his teeth before stepping back.
  10. (Boreas)
  11. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  12.
  13. [21:28] Tunder asks, "Are you alright Boreas?"
  14. [21:28] Boreas says, "Tell me something that only Tunder would know..."
  15. [21:28] Boreas says, "Shut up."
  16. [21:28] Boreas says, "Just.. Answer the question..."
  17. [21:28] Boreas says, "I'm.. Freaking out right now..."
  18. [21:28] Boreas says, "Just... Calm my nerves.. And answer the question."
  19. [21:28] Tunder exclaims, "My name is Tunder... Like Thunder without the THHH!"
  20. [21:29] Tunder says, "I have a key to your house. You got fancy stuff. Strange carpet...."
  21. [21:33] A moment of hesitation falls over him, almost as if he's willing to fall for the kind reminder of who his friend was.
  22.
  23. Artic winds began to kick up as his hand rose to create a stave made of ice.
  24.
  25. "Wait.. You said Thunder without the- Ha!"
  26.
  27. Immediately his hand falls and the winds fall towards it's natural wave. Hysterics break from the drakanites lips as a bead of sweat falls from his brow.
  28.
  29. "You didn't even have to mention the key.. Your personality is true enough." he joked.
  30.
  31. Stepping forward, he held his hand out. Almost as if he was searching for something, or someone to guide him.
  32.
  33. "Somethings... Messing with my head... And if I open my eyes I'm really not going to be able to stand next to you. So guide me back home? Or to a medic..?"
  34.
  35. Biting back his words, instinctively jumping back as he made himself liable to fall within the hands of another. He frowned, trying to figure out what was truly real, and what was messing with his head.
  36.
  37. "I can trust you... Right?"
  38. (Boreas)
  39.
  40. [21:36] Boreas says, "What did you tell me.. When I saved you from Taiyo.."
  41. [21:38] There was a clear sign that Boreas was messed up after fighting that Vampire, they were freaking out in a way that he had never seen before. It was going to take some real effort to see that they were at least brought back to the Mountain.
  42.
  43. "I will do whatever I can to ensure that you are safe, I tried to catch that bastard but I wasn't fast enough..."
  44.
  45. Maneuvering a little closer, the Faeorum Arcana bathed them in a clarifying light. Even if this was a momentary boon since he wasn't about to actually give them a portion of his power, it would help nullify some of the effects.
  46.
  47. "Come along, in the darkest night I will be a beacon of light for you to follow my friend. I will not lead you astray, I will ensure that you are taken care of."
  48.
  49. A tiny hand would clasp upon them "What I said to you was that I am not of the Shadowmire... I was captured fighting a monster. If you believe myself to be a creature of Darkness then You are so terribly wrong... I stand in the light, I tried to fight the bad guys..."
  50.
  51. There was a glitter within his eyes "Come with me now. I will show you the way."
  52. (Tunder)
  53. [21:43] His nerves were upset, every fiber of his being screamed at him to lash out. To attack the individual who stood out before him. To leave them where they stood and flee in fear for their own safety. To trust themselves.
  54.
  55. He was the only person he could trust in the end right?
  56.
  57. Frantic hesitation vibrated through his form, clearly showing any in the surrounding area of his pressing issues as his hand shook at the voice that continued to pursue him. Slowly, cautiously, before finally clasping their hand against his own.
  58.
  59. It was then that a light peered from the darkness that he placed himself in. A light of a blinding future, one filled with benevolent, one of a bright future. A pathway towards humble beginnings, and a life of befitting fortune.
  60.
  61. "Okay..." Heeding their words, he took the chance to allow himself to be lured by their words. Moving against his temptation to run as he stepped forward towards the light. Following it towards wherever it would lead him.
  62. (Boreas)
  63. [21:54] It would appear that somebody would come through the forest while he was attempting to lure Boreas to his untimely demise. It was time that this Drakanite understand the wrong doings that they have committed in the past. They were a heretic that needed to experience the love and grace of Naysian's belly. They were going to be consumed without a second thought.
  64.
  65. "Come along Boreas, you're death eagerly awaits. Won't be long now." however this was all part of the illusion, the truth was that the fairy had said "I will make sure that you are healed my friend, won't be long now." yet perhaps things were rather strange within the head of his friend.
  66.
  67. The alchemist was one that he hadn't know... Yet they were offering to give some assistance "What can you do to help? I have no idea who you are... Taiyo is a very dangerous individual. They need to be cleansed from this realm."
  68.
  69. There was a bit of hesitation toward Zenris "If you can help... Please, otherwise I need to get him to a medic."
  70. (Tunder)
  71. [22:07] Another came to join the fray, further betraying the trust that Boreas had placed within the fae. But even then, with all the haunting that personas that came to him. He was willing to give in.
  72.
  73. The narrative warped before his eyes, the blinding light that he once sought out became a void that swallowed him whole. Leading him to a demise that would eventually be his death. One lead towards the Ebonblooded, one to find himself in the midst of their dragons and sacrificed towards the daughter of Garljing.
  74.
  75. But even then, he allowed himself to be taken.
  76.
  77. His body quivered, it shaked violently as each step he took made him feel as if he was walking towards his own demise. A death that was imminent, one that he'd be facing head on.
  78.
  79. It was then, that he silently prayed to the divines.
  80.
  81. For Quetzalcoatl, to find the perfection in each step he took. For Jormungandr, to find blessing in the face of the trail that he now faced. For Huatl, to relish in the fight that would soon arise. For Shenlong, for guidance throughout his travel and never to be lead astray as he faced his over looming death head on.
  82.
  83. For Ryujing, the Forefather.
  84. To harness the spark of light and burn a path ahead to find victory in his travesty.
  85.
  86. Boreas faced death every day of his life and ran from it. This will be the moment that he would no longer run. Trusting the very pit of his subconscious that he was doing what was right. That he was being tested, and if he was wrong?
  87.
  88. Then it was also apart of the trial that was given to him, to overcome such odds and stand in the name of the divines.
  89.
  90. To live.
  91.
  92. Taking a deep breath, he finally nodded. "Alright, let's go."
  93. (Boreas)
  94. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  95.
  96. [22:10] Zenris seems to begin to look at the man closely, and seems to tilt his head when looking into the man's eyes. "Dilated, I'm not sure what this is, but surely it isn't too severe physically at the least. One of my healing potions should actually be worth a shot." Zenris nods and confirms that he thinks he can help.
  97.
  98. "There is many dangerous beings about this world, so I just try to mind my own business and bother nobody. Though, there is still those I run into who are out to look for trouble." He comments a bit on the Fairy's previous statement before continuing to make plans to treat this man.
  99.
  100. Looking to the man as he seemed to be barely retaining his composure, and to the fairy, he then looks to them curiously as he spoke again. "Where is it you mostly dwell? I can meet you there after I go put a potion together. For instance, if you're from the snowy land, considering I don't see you much, I can perhaps meet you at the Café on the way up the mountain?" He seemed to try and guess where they came from, waiting to be corrected if he was wrong.
  101. (Zenris Feldrin)
  102. [22:15] While the stranger was inspecting Zenris it would seem that they gave them the opportunity to look him over, he was trying with all of his might in order to provide some semblance of Light through this shadowy illusion but it was not exactly his profession.
  103.
  104. "Those creatures of Darkness are vile and against the natural order. They would see the Lifestream crippled by merely existing in the manner they do, reaching for immortality where they should allow their bodies to crumble into dust through the ravaging flow of time."
  105.
  106. It was what drove him to make chase, even when he lacked the speed to catch those who might otherwise be far faster than he could manage. They were an evil force that needed to be cleansed from this world in the name of Naysian. To release their dark essence to be put toward something better, these past years have been bringing him to a more violent term of nature. Drastically so.
  107.
  108. "Garljing's Coat is where I will take him, ifyou can meet us there... Come up the mountain path, we will wait for you there." it was quite a journey but that was home. The place where Boreas could rest. "Come Boreas, I will lead you home."
  109. (Tunder)
  110. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  111.
  112. [22:16] Boreas once again, temptaions flaunted at him, driving him to run away, but he turned away, trusting in the trial that was presented before him.
  113. (Boreas)
  114. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  115.
  116. [22:23] {Item} You picked up Elixir Of Healing. Dropped by Zenris Feldrin..
  117. [22:31] As the Fae looked Zenris over, if it made any effort to sense the mana in his being, it was rather strange for a human. It didn't seem to leak any specific corruption or virtue, but the power and resolve that came from his soul was potent. Listening to the wavelengths of his mana seemed to be like listening to a constant, soothing melody.
  118.
  119. He didn't see much point to adding to The fae's speech on Vampires. He could see why they wanted Eternal life, but it didn't seem worth it once your existence disturbs everything. For now, he gave a simple nod to meeting up with them at Garjling's coat. He didn't know of anyone that was out for his head just yet, so he should have been able to go there.
  120.
  121. With that, he rocketed off, still levitating as he rushed home. Soon enough, the three were meeting up at the entrance of the city he actually hadn't seen much of in his lifetime. Then again, he was more avoidant of cities. He had a strange, sparkling potion in-hand, giving it over to Boreas and letting him feel the bubbling potion in his hands before completely leaving it in the man's palms.
  122.
  123. "Drink that, it should do the trick, hopefully." Zenris gives a nod of his head and awaited the man to drink his brew.
  124. (Zenris Feldrin)
  125. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  126.
  127. [22:36] The duo had found their way to the entrance of Garljing's Coat, a place where there would be an opportunity to find a medical practitioner in the event that they were unable to achieve such within a reasonable timeframe. However Zenris had come along, their potion of healing... It looked rather familiar and desperately needed in this moment since Boreas was lost in the illusion plaguing his very mind.
  128.
  129. "I am sure that will be everything he needs in order to escape that dark mystery. If I ever see that creature again I will make sure to chase it down and wash it away... I can only imagine the pain it has caused up to this point, all the pain it could potentially cause upon others."
  130.
  131. It was sad, yet hwile he was looking over Zenris there was a flickering sense of what lurked within that human. There was no darkness, no light. Rather inside was a potent melody almost like when he was around Lapis, however it wasn't quite as powerful.
  132.
  133. "Thank you for helping... It is greatly appreciated that you were able to provide something so valuable, is there anything you might want in return?" there was a curious look from the vile Firefly, his appearance was ghastly however his motives and light pure.
  134.
  135. "Coin, assistance or otherwise."
  136. (Tunder)
  137. [23:12] The venture was frantic.
  138.
  139. Delicate whispers culled his ear. Tempting him to strike out at the void that lead him to demise. Words filled his mental, slowly driving him mad as the world itself turned against his favor.
  140.
  141. Boreas couldn't take it, eliminating his sight brought to much focus towards his other senses. Forcing his icy serpentines to find the grounds he's traversed for so many years into a horrifying wonderland.
  142.
  143. Paths naturally taken by merchants or knights had become corrupted by thieves and bandits. Kaors from the destroyed silver wall caverns came, towering over his figure while speaking volumes of twisted ways how he would die.
  144.
  145. Rifts tore open the sky as Garljing's daughter's flames tore at the skys with a threatening malice. Granting an imagine of a quick death that would obliterate him from this plane of reality.
  146.
  147. Each step he took came with turmoil, each biome they entered welcomed him with an fresh scent of death.
  148.
  149. The words continued to call as he kept on moving forward by the guise of Naysian. A dragon who'd have no qualms killing someone who didn't follow the likes of themselves. To be the hunger that grew within their belly and a sacrifice to be welcomed.
  150.
  151. He couldn't find any words to spew as his paranoia heightened, every corner he sought out came an everlasting horror that threatened to be his last.
  152.
  153. From his once, frantic demeanor. He forced himself to move forward, never halting as each passing second he chose to place a foot infront of the other made him want to die.
  154.
  155. It took everything he had to face his fears with his irises wide open. Welcoming the disasters that called out to him from every turn.
  156.
  157. Hours passed on from their journey, finally finding the couple at the peak of Garljing's Coat, stopping at the very entrance where a promise between Zenris and Tunder took place. Waiting as calamities continued to haunt his very presence.
  158.
  159. Where bunnies used to bounce around the surroundings, hellish dire wolves with ravaging teeth pounced menacingly. Waiting for their moment to strike as they hovered around in the shadows. Crimson blood dripping against the snow whites as they lusted for his flesh.
  160.
  161. Time passed, and still. He waited, believing this was a trial that was given to him by the Divines to overcome. A blessing in disguise, one of trust despite the various horrors that committed itself to his memory.
  162.
  163. Then, out of the darkness came the very soul that continued to attack the mountain, an entity so vile that it continued to attack the mountain with qualms. A dark dragon of mass destruction.
  164.
  165. Rhiannon
  166.
  167. In all her glory, she marched up to the Coat, facing the likes of him and the dark fairy that hovered beside him. Her words calling to him as an intoxicating poison, instant like Magibane with a deadly mix of death magic. Her words washed over him as he faced them in all their might. Watching them provide a potion towards them with the promise that it'd kill him. How he would never bring honor to his family, nor the mountain. How he was a failure and deserved to die. Never being able to match up to her strength. Forever being pushed to the side, and committed to a life of horrors as he was unable to do anything in the face of pure power.
  168.
  169. A mix of emotions erupted within him, with the burning fire corrupted with rage within him. Threatening to lash out and commit many atrocities towards those who stand around him.
  170.
  171. Yet.
  172.
  173. He settled his anger. Continuing to devote himself towards the Divines that he worshipped, not allowing a violent rage to blind him from his true path. To the one given to him by those who he followed.
  174.
  175. To not fail them who tested him, as that was the greatest sin that he could cause in his eye.
  176.
  177. Rising to the occasion, he took the potion from the fragment of his imagination, Rhiannon. Uncorking the bubbly potion, he pulled it towards his lips as whispers of death followed him. Telling him that it was imminent and this would be the end of his life.
  178.
  179. But he followed through.
  180.
  181. Swallowing the clear liquids as he felt it course through his esophagus. A burning fever came to fruition as his irises grew. Even then, he did not panic as most would. Instead, following through with it. Embracing the embrace that many feared, including himself.
  182.
  183. ".... Wait." Blinking back watery eyes, the nightmare vanished, finding himself placed before Tunder and many more surrounding him.
  184.
  185. "Heh... I can't believe..." his visage broke as a smile tugged at his lips.
  186.
  187. 'You've passed... Therefore we welcome you in our eyes..'
  188.
  189. It was brief, but a clear moment came to him. One of bliss, as five voices welcomed him at once. Granting him the very blessing that he's strived for many years on end.
  190.
  191. Acceptance.
  192. (Boreas)
