THE MAN BEHIND THE MASK
Let’s share a story together and the story is titled IT’S BEAUTIFUL.
There was this woman called Sally, she had a little boy who was sick with cancer. One of these days, the boy dad crisis and so she took him to the hospital.
The story touched my heart when I read it. God cares about us. Many at times, we look at our problems and ask God  “WHERE ARE YOU”. God does not change his position, the bible says he is the same yesterday, today and forever. [Hebrew 13:8]
The things you don’t know, God knows about them and he cares.  Remember Jesus said (when he was hanged on the cross) My God , my God, why hath thous forsaken me [Psalm 22:1, Mark 15:33]. It was but for a moment but the covenant still stands.
Just like the five fingers are not all equal, so everyone has his own time, when your time comes, he calls you home, and when my time comes, he calls me home [Eccle 3:1-2], when you close your eyes in death can you be happy like this little boy [recall he said to his mother “its cool”].
Heaven is not a place where we listen with our head, nor by our calculation. Heaven is beyond our imagination, beyond our comprehension, it is worth seeing with our own eyes.
Many of us still think about heaven as fiction, we do not see it as real, even when we talk about it with our mouth, our minds are not there. I have good news for you, that does not change God’s mind, neither does it change his principles. Remember God’s word is yea and Amen [2Cor 1:20].
The reason I shared that story with us is to tell those of us that think that God has forsaken them, that he God, has not, he is still in position, and still in charge. Amen.
If God was to use you as a sample (think about it) “What kind of sample will you be.

For instance if he (God) was to use you as a sample by projecting the thoughts of your heart in a screen for all to see, will you be a good sample? Will you? Can you be called an example of a believer? Can you be called an example of a believer, can people see you and say yes this is indeed  a Christian in and out, this is a child of God, what kind of sample will you be called.
a)	A good specimen
b)	A bad one
One interesting thing about Christians is that, Sunday is a day they are good, they drop all their bad characters and behave holy. For the ladies, they dress badly, exposing their bodies, during weekdays, you cannot differentiate them from non-Christians, but on Sundays, they dress differently because they are coming to church.
Who are you? When God is only your God on Sundays but on weekdays [from Monday to Sunday] the devil takes charge. You can only deceive man, but you cannot deceive God. In the Church, nobody sees you doing evil because you are hiding behind a mask. The world accepts you, you join in things that are in vogue. You are in the world, you also want to be in Christ? It is not possible, you want to dance with the world, and also dance to God’s tune. (It is not possible) [Matt 6:24, Luke 16:13]
You may ask (like Jesus disciples ) “who can make heaven” but I tell you, It is impossible with man, but with God all things are possible [Matt 19:26]. God expects you to give your life to him and work in that faithfulness.
But the situation is that we give our legs to God and keep the other parts of our bodies to ourselves. Are you holy in your heart?  Do you really love Jesus? Or you prefer to follow the multitude (everybody is doing it, so you want to join). You forget the bible says you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation [] you are not an ordinary person, you are extraordinary. The child of a king does not talk nor behave anyhow, the child of a King talks with dignity, with responsibility.
Many of us have lost our identity, we have followed the multitude. Imagine this, when we are all standing up on our feet and someone besides you sits down, there is every tendency that you will be tempted to sit down too. So when one goes down, the tendency is that others will follow and that is a true picture of today’s church. People bring in strange non-biblical doctrines and everybody follows.
God is looking for people whom he can call his children that
When others are going down, they are standing
When others are saying there is a casting down, they are saying there is a lifting up [Job 22:29]
Those who will dare to be different like shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who refuse to bow when others were bowing down [Daniel 3:-18]
God is looking for children that are unique
God is looking for grounded children
Today so many statues are raised,
•	Statues of unbelief
•	Statues of covetousness
•	Statues of steal and what have you.
According to the scripture in James 4:4, ask yourself are you an enemy of God, or a friend of God? Can Jesus testify that you are his friend? Has God’s glory departed from you? Who are you?
Stop hiding behind your mask. Many are living in fear, and fear is one of the things that knocks you out of life’s race. God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind [2Timothy 1:7]. The problem is you have thrown away this sound mind and picked up fear and this is the reason you go from pillar to post looking for help.
I ask again “who are you”
You need to make-up your mind, take a stand for God, choose whom you will serve. Stop hiding behind your mask; pull off your mask of deception and ask Jesus to come in and take his place as lord of your life.
