- I have set off south. I've kept my religious heraldry, but will tell travelers I am a nomadic follower of the orthodoxy who teaches about 'Brother Osiris,' as he is called in their faith.
- To gather information on the oldest teachings and prayers, I will need to make my way to Cairo, the occupied city, and get myself in on my scholarly merit. I can not imagine this will prove easy in such a time of strife, but my faith is strong in these things. So I will pray to Osiris, and see all this through to the end, for the good of my faith and my friends.
- The road is safe, at least, heavily guarded by the various patrols of Noa Wei. I have been stopped and asked for papers already, but my religious markings seemed to fare well enough. I guess most pilgrims are not expected to be carrying documents regularly. Regardless, it may be wise to strike up these documents when I do make it to the city under a new name. We will see what is best. For now, I continue the long journey south, praying for my friends' success in the north.
