  1. GENERAL:
  2. - Before purchasing a hero with crowns, go into practice to try them out because you may regret the purchase and the F2P crown grind is rough. You have options for buying with money, which include:
  3. -30$ for the ultimate pack to get all heroes for life.
  4. -$10 for the starter pack, which gives you access to 8 other heroes.
  5. -Buying a single character with rubies.
  6. --Be sure to train a bit in practice mode or bot matches as a new character, especially if it's Tyto the Swift because have to know proper stamina management and movement to not feed with Tyto.
  7.
  8. - If you want to know about any of the status or elemental effects, you can refer to here:

  10.
  11. GAMEPLAY:
  12. - Creatures have unique abilities and can be summoned on a point to collect the energy it generates for you. Killing a creature or an enemy player gives 10 energy toward the rampage (see RAMPAGE section for info on that).
  13. --DO NOT summon on points you can't defend; you'll end up giving the enemy free energy, leading to them snowballing.
  14. --The Obelisk is a good creature to purchase as a summon on an unsafe point. It does not collect energy for you, but it can be placed on a neutral point to deny the enemy energy as well. Killing one does not give any energy, but does give experience.
  15.
  16. - Keep an eye on the minimap and help allies/creatures who are in trouble (don't suicide rush into 2v5s or anything but just try to help)
  17. --You can ping at where you're aiming by tapping C or middle-mouse. You can do specific pings (such as withdraw or on my way) by holding down the key and selecting the choice.
  18. --You can ping specific spots on the map while in the upgrade menu by clicking the location on the map.
  19. --There are quick-chat commands that can be used by pressing 1-4 to open the command menus. If you can't open the quick-chat, then quickly open and close the upgrade menu to fix this issue.
  20. --You can use regular text chat by pressing ENTER.
  21.
  22. - DO NOT not spam jump when you're getting chased or are in combat; it eats your stamina and it won't regenerate while jumping. Just wait or walk for a bit of stamina to come back and then proceed to run away or get into cover if you can.
  23.
  24. - Your reticle will turn red when you're aiming at an invisible enemy like Tripp, Voden, Ramsay, or Imani. Keep that in mind when you're chasing a kill. Most status effects do damage over time, which shows damage numbers on invisible enemies as well.
  25.
  26. - As any melee hero, you can perform a lunge attack by jumping and left-clicking. Use this on an enemy from behind to slow and cripple them (prevents jumping for a short time). The lunge is also useful for escaping or closing the distance with enemies, or as a finisher move.
  27.
  28. - You can use your dodge to cancel something that has to be charged or targeted (like Charnok's fireball, Pakko's snowball, and targeted AoE skills).
  29. --dodging costs stamina, but it is possible to do a very weak dodge without stamina that can still be used to cancel things.
  30.
  31. - Learning a tank or support is advisable. Tank examples being The Margrave or Zandora, and Support examples being Uncle Sven or Vadasi. There are some characters who can become surprisingly beefy as well like Xenobia and Wu if built a certain way.
  32.
  33.
  34. RAMPAGE:
  35. - The damage that the attacking guardian will do on impact is indicated by blinking health on their life bar.
  36. --If the heart icon is blinking as well, then the impact will AUTO-WOUND, meaning that you DO NOT have to rush to the guardian and can attack/defend another objective.
  37. --The final heart CANNOT be auto-wounded, so you must attack to win the match.
  38.
  39. - Killing an enemy while attacking during rampage increases the time that the guardian is pinned.
  40. --Killing an enemy while on defense gives your guardian a small health shield, which can also save it from an auto-wound if they're killed before the impact.
  41.
  42. - One tactic is to get a creature low during rampage and then kill it when the rampage ends so that you get 10 energy toward your next rampage.
  43.
  44. CLASH:
  45. - The Clash (aka Final Clash) occurs after 2 wounds on a single guardian or 5 rampages.
  46. --During Clash, the map changes drastically and some points are relocated, but if you have a creature on said point, it will move as well.
  47.
  48. --The single "during Clash" upgrade that you can select (by clicking on the box where your level number is) takes effect during this time.
  49. --Since Clash takes time to occur, this upgrade can be saved for later in the game.
  50.
  51. - The amount of rampages/wounds leading up to the Clash is indicated by dots on the top-center of the screen that show the number of rampages before the final clash begins. These dots change to text that says "CLASH" once it occurs.
