Get Those Smores

Alexithymiaa: -Brad sat at one of the tables in the dining room, his laptop open in front of him as he browsed one of the webpages his professor had directed them to research off of. He was squinting at the screen because he wasnt really getting much of what he was reading, and instead just being frustrated that he had to learn about something he wasn't completely invested in.-
Covet: Kelsey had been in the bedroom getting Connor to bed. Her weekend had been super busy and she still had to write up a couple of things for one of her classes. She came back out with her laptop under one arm and her toiletries bag under the other. She saw Brad sitting there looking at his computer, looking pretty intently at his work. She walked over and dropped her computer off at the table, then leaned in to give him a quick kiss. "I'm going to go brush my teeth really quick, I'll be right back." she told him. "Think about something for a study snack while I'm gone?" Kelsey added, more as a way of keeping him distracted.
Alexithymiaa: -He looked up from his computer when she leaned in to kiss him, giving her a soft smile. "A study snack? Now there is something I understand." He said quickly, nodding his head as his mind raced off of all the possible snacks he could go for right now.-
Covet: Kelsey made her way down the hall and called out to him, "I'm kind of feeling something sweet!" She said to him then made her way into the bathroom to brush her teeth. She set her toiletry bag down on the edge of the sink and pulled her toothbrush and toothpaste out, quickly brushing her teeth. After spitting a couple of times making sure they were all brushed appropriately, she rinsed her tooth brush out, putting her things away, then grabbed the small plastic bag that she'd gotten from out of Bradley's stash from evan. It was barely gone at all. Kelsey being kind of a pansy about it hadn't really gone all out. She held up the back of her hand and tapped a little bit out, bringing her nose down to it, plugging one nostril and inhaling quickly. She pinched her nose and closed her eyes, sniffing a few times before wiping her nose. She tucked the bag back into her toiletry kit then grabbed her stuff to head back out there feeling the little energy boost to carry her through studying.
Alexithymiaa: (Oh Kelsey.)
Alexithymiaa: -When he heard her on her way back from the bathroom, he raised his voice. "Do sugar free twinkies exist?" He asked, keeping his eyes on his computer as he sort of just skimmed the content on the site.-
Covet: "Probably, but I don't think we have any. I was thinking about making some smores on the stove?" She offered up to him, setting her bag back down then made her way back into the kitchen to look about in the cupboards and fridge. "We've got marshmallows and graham crackers, but.. I'm not seeing anything sugar free chocolate wise." She said with a frown.
Alexithymiaa: "Wait, you brushed your teeth just to eat smores?" He asked her, lifting his eyes so he could look over at her in the kitchen. "That doesn't make any sense. You're just going to have to brush them again after you're done." He started to laugh at her, shaking his head.-
Covet: "Poor planning, I know. I've had a busy weekend leave me alone." She told him from the kitchen waving her hand at him,
Covet: [fuck!]
Covet: *at him, "That's not helping me... Do you have any other chocolate around somewhere, mr. sweet tooth."
Alexithymiaa: "Uhhhhh...." He trailed off, looking guilty as fuck. "Maybe. I might have some in my desk. Just in case I'm working and I need some... you never know." He said with a shrug. "It's necessary."-
Covet: "Go look. I don't care what it is, We'll make it work." She said to him, persistently. "I have homework to do before tomorrow, so I don't want this to take forever." Kelsey said to him then went about grabbing a fork, the crackers and a handful of marshmallows, bringing it over to the stove.
Alexithymiaa: -He rolled his eyes and pulled himself out of his chair, schlepping down the hall to his dorm so he could rummage through his desk, pulling out a couple sugar free candy bars. Dragging his feet on his way back, he tossed them down onto the counter where she was, leaning to one side. "Now I need to replace my stash."-
Covet: "Oh no...You'd be replacing it anyways eventually." Kelsey told him as she started stabbing a marshmallow on to a fork , holding it over the bright red coils on the stove, turning it so it got toasted all the way around.
Alexithymiaa: "Oh stop." He said as he waved her off, watching what she was doing. "Are you making mine too?" He asked like a lazy fuck.-
Covet: "You stop." She told him with a smirk, then nodded her head, "Of course. Otherwise I'd have to listen to you whine until I did it." She said to him, "Get me two crackers for you and whichever chocolate you want. This is going to be done soon."
Alexithymiaa: -He turned to fish two crackers out of the box, grabbing the sugar free crackle bar and setting them down next to her. "I don't think I've ever made one over an electric stove before. My parents have gas in their house."-
Covet: "It's the same concept, heat cooks the marshmallow. Though I've found it's a lot less likely to catch it on fire without an actual flame. It can still be done, but it's a lot easier to watch." Kelsey told him as she took the marshmallow and put it on his cracker and chocolate. "Do you want two?"
Alexithymiaa: "I don't think so. I think one is fine for now. We can always make more." He said as he watched her build his treat. "That looks so good... is it really hot?"-
Covet: "No it should be okay they cool off pretty quick." Kelsey said then went about making her own smore, getting her chocolate and graham crackers put together before she started in on her marshmallow. "Little extra energy to keep me going through the next few hours for studying."
Alexithymiaa: "This really does it for you?" He asked her, lifting the smore up to his mouth to take a big gooey bite. "Okay fair, they are pretty good."-
Covet: "Yeah, it's a mind over matter. No real sugar, but I think there is, therefor my body believes I'm energized." Sure Kelsey because it has nothing to do with the little bit of "extra Sugar" you already had.
Alexithymiaa: "Hey, whatever works." He said as he took another big sloppy bite. "I usually just... go to sleep if Im tired, but I know you've got a lot of things going on right now. This is also why I dont really schedule classes before eleven."-
Covet: "Well yeah, but I don't want to be tired, because sleep will keep me from doing what I need to get done." She told him with a laugh as she dug into her smores all happy like and such.
Alexithymiaa: "You should just do less." He said matter of factly, finishing off his smore and wiping his sticky fingers on the legs of his pants.-
Covet: "I can't do less right now. If I could I would." She told him, then went to go wash her hands off so she could go over to sit at her computer to start working on her writing. "So, I'm just trying my best to roll with the punches. But It's fine I've got a handle on this." She said waving her hand at him.
Alexithymiaa: "As long as you have a handle on it." He said, following her over to the table to drop back into his chair in front of his computer.-
Covet: "Mhhm." She told him as she smiled at him then went about getting her course work done in time to get at least a couple hours of sleep.
