- This young human of Frostvale had the spirit of a mighty dragon, he couldn't back down on some form of training to get better, he knew that the both of them shared a common goal and that was to lead! This mutual respect for one another as friends was starting to develop nicely, however he felt guilty that he'd have to leave Regina out of it , she seemed like she could use the company of her brother ,but he sorta knew that was not about to happen.
- "Sure, y' lead the way shorty." he gave off a small smirk to joke around with the Prince. He wasn't very tall himself, if anything Calvin probably beat Jin's run in the challenge of who's taller due to the half shift. His little Wisp of what used to be Littlefoot followed along like a zap of lightning if they left early. He had several questions, but he didn't want to get into anyones personal life any time soon.
- Then, it came to him! "I got it, how 'bout we race? " he challneged nowing that now they can both fly, why not have alittle fun with such an ability to see which was faster, the Tempest Dragon speed or the Winged Dragons Flight! This was a nice challenge to declare before a friendly spar!
- (Jinsei Silverwing)
- "Okay..!" The boy would exclaim, turning towards the training ground that he seemed to frequent - it would be a quick travel over there indeed - but the boy would then be challenged to a race! He couldn't back down from something like that, the boy having to accept the challenge! "Okay!" He would say, turning towards the place.
- "One two three GO!" The prince would exclaim, quickly getting up from his stance and beginning a mad, dashing bolt towards the training ground - he wanted to beat Jinsei, even if the Silverwing could fly, and he could not. It would still be a good measure of agility training! He still wanted to win, though. It was like declaring he was stronger!
- "AAAAH" He would scream, a battlecry of sorts as he charged.
- (Calvin Brennte)
- AND NOW THEY WERE OFF! Jinsei of course taking flight with the ascnesion of not only wind, but gravity, this giving a slight advantage over the wind resistance from holding him back, he showed no hesitation! NO MERCY IN THE AIR! This was his ground atlease, but the child were to be having fun with his young friend Calvin as he did this.
- "Hehe! Not lettin' that happen mate!" he'd attempt to pass him up at every corner of the sky, flying quickly up until they both met their end point of where they'd be training together at. Even though Jinsei had on a few items , wouldn't mean much to him. His hair being pushed back greatly by the wind friction, this was very enjoyable and the first time he had raced anyone in the air!
- (Jinsei Silverwing)
- After their long intense race in the air, it probably ultimately came down to a draw between the two youngins ,both Calvin and Jinsei now at the sparring point of their destination, Jinsei slowly hovering down from the air above , his cloa flowing with the wind itself , he took out his training sword, the blunt one and spoke to Calvin.
- "That was fun! Was the first time I had a race in the air! Hehe..And now we get to train for a while as well! " he was excited after that, their build up in that race was just too much to not get pumped up for. He assumed the stance of the Aeolus or as he would now call it, the Tempest Dragon sword stace!
- "And now back to the right foot.." he shifted this knee and leg to be the leading one in which case the hilt of the sword was above his ribcage and the point of the blade pointing towards his target, his slim build of a body yet ripped would be turned side ways, this being a tactic to act on timing and patience, to counter attack most strikes with speed and accuracy. He didn't go into detail about explaining it, but it was a different form of the Aeolus Tempest, in which case this time he'd be flying.
- He had an opponent who could take things to the skies much like himself, he was not going to skip such an opportunity. Jinsei spoke once more to the young Drakanite "hope y' have experience fightin' in mid air! Cuz if an attack comes from above, what would y' do? " he questioned the younger male , now waiting for this spar to begin with his wisp at his side.
- (Jinsei Silverwing)
- Racing the boy to the training ground, Calvin asn't particularly sure who won - only that it was terribly fun. Soon, he would be standing a distance from Jinsei, a grin plastered upon his face. "It was... It was pretty fun!" He would exclaim, nodding to himself - his halfshift seeming to be out already, his wings tiny and short. "I uh.." He said, unsure of how to answer the question.
- He'd pull out his only weapon though - a graceful rapier that was found in the castle. It didn't seem to be in use by anyone - the boy deciding it would be his weapon, and his weapon only. It was unfortunately sharp, but Jinsei was in the air so it wouldn't really matter. Good thing it wouldn't, too. Because Calvin was really weak.
- Either way, the boy would let out a roar - letting scales coat his skin. "Roooar! Ready!" He would say, a rather exciteable tone as he looked over at a pale, white haired boy. He seemed to be studying them - which caused the Drakanite to try harder in his fighting - he wanted to impress, not just simply dress!
- (Calvin Brennte)
- A grimace appeared upon the expression of the boy that studied them, it was comical how the energy manipulator fought. It was surely interesting how bouth of them fought, but it was obvious who was physically stronger.
- It didn't mind however, even in a fighting style one could surpass those stronger and thus that gave away the reason why he was studying them. It was by fact that in legends many people fought yokai much stronger, but won.
- Once the first round was finished and the clash ended he clapped a few times before folding his arm. The parrot was enjoying himself, shouting and cheering them on.
- But it wasn't finished, it seemed they were both ready for a whole other round. But that was going to show their full power, probably. For he knew both of them must have more than this up their sleeve's. This was not strong.
- "C'mooooon! Fiiiight! Break each other, yeaaaaah!" the parrot started to shout while the youngster laughed. Ofcourse keeping his eyes fixed upon the two.
- (Augustus Pandion)
- Jinsei kinda noticed the person watching at a distance at first he only noticed the Parrot because the owner looked like he would blend in well with the snow. The young human soon was at another new start of a spar with Calvin , he gently landed on the ground for a bit.
- "Now that wasn't your best." he placed a single hand on his left side as his eyes settled on the friend across from him. He would get back into his Aeolus Tempest stance, preparing for round two, if Jinsei was quick enough to stop any movement to strike him critically, then he could call this a day, but he was not going to reveal any of his full potential soon either unless he truly needed to.
- But Jinsei wanted the spar to be beneficial to the both of them so once he landed, he switched his stance up "And now on to the left foot.." his stance changed a bit , not only by which foot would lead, but he kept on his toes with his feet. His elbows somewhat spreaded out and sword held higher than before. He may of was planning to go easy on Calvin this time, but he was going to push the kid! Jinsei knew what it was like to be expected to be the best! And he'd help Calvin get there just as long as he continued to mature!

- Jinsei Silverwing: Left foot tactic of tempest..
- Unable to strike Jinsei - Calvin felt rather hopeless. How was Regina able to beat him, but Calvin unable? Was it because she used magic? Couldn't be right.. Swords were always stronger than magic! He knew so many people who used swords, and no one could beat Ose or his dad! They both used swords.. So, why couldn't he win?
- Probably because his opponent had been flying - causing Calvin to have trouble with his aiming. He couldn't get a good strike on his opponent - very detrimental to the fight! He had to be stronger, and his wings would assist him! The boy would jump up, attempting to flap them for all he was worth! But, there was a problem with that.
- Unfortunately, Calvin's wings were very, very small. Additionally, he wasn't a pureblood - so using his wings were twice as hard as someone who was a pureblood. He was so close to being a human at birth, too. Phew. Dodged that bullet..
- (Calvin Brennte)
- Jinsei Silverwing: Try harder!
- Calvin Brennte: I'M TRYING
- Jinsei Silverwing: Dodge!
- Calvin was trying too hard and didn't actually think while the opponent seemingly was far more skilled currently. But he was going to learn, surely. Today was just not that day.
- Though the pale boy would speak up after coughing a few times to catch the attention after the second round. His voice fitting in with the cold flow within the lands of dragons.
- "Let me give you boys a small advice. Magic can advance your muscles, but this isn't enough. You are going to need more skill and you should perceive every single inch of movement of your opponent. In a real battlefield, if you let your eyes go from your enemy you're as good as dead!"
- (Augustus Pandion)
- While he clashed with Calvin, blocking some of his strikes with his sword abilities and tactics, utilizing the Aeolus Tempest stance for such things are countering Calvins attacks mid spar when he was on the ground and avoiding some attacks directly. He soon put the spar to an end with his abilitie to dash forth and back using remarkable speed and timing, thanks to the Aeolus stance of course . He was no longer in this stance, the spar was over now.
- He went to help up Calvin, it would be time the truth be told about why he lost to Regina, it was not due to her magic, but rather Jinsei having his true abilities too dormant and reserved , he defeated her another time during a spar but told no one due to them being friends and knowing how it'd turn out. Jinsei's power and abilities were truly a mystery, and he didn't go about showing his full power either unless training with Boyd of course, where he was always pushed to his limits, even managing to defeat Boyd once by sheer friggen luck!
- Jinsei was no brute, he knew how to keep things timed, planned and swift. He spoke to Calvin as he offered a hand to help him up "Ya need to focus more on your timing is what I advise.. That and becoming strong with sword handling. " he says this because handling a sword plays a big factor in battles, mainly because it takes great sword handling to do what others could. He wondered where his teacher was though, Boyd mentioned something about training again today, which worried Jinsei because the training was intense.
- (Jinsei Silverwing)
- Trying to hit properly, the boy would be jabbing with his sword - getting parried and the such every few hits, unable to attack the flying Silverwing. This caused flustering within Calvin's mind, him becoming somewhat disappointed in himself - he had to learn how to fly or something, so that he could properly attack people! Or else he'd never learn. Pitiful..
- But, it seemed that he was soon beaten - being helped up by Jinsei without having to eat snow from the ground, luckily. He would be standing, looking at Jinsei with, well, envy! The boy was pretty strong - Calvin unable to beat him. He just needed to practice more though, and he'd be combat ready. Calvin was only six, too. It did add to the problem, one could suppose..
- "I can't hit people who are flying - I'm on the ground and really short!" The boy would exclaim, being tall for his age - but short! He'd chuckle nonetheless, looking over at Augustus. "I'm just learning is all! That was my first fight.." The boy would say, looking at the snow before staring over at the Pandion. "Do you wanna train?" He would ask, curious!
- (Calvin Brennte)
- Jinsei Silverwing: I was not flying during the second time. Just moving very quickly.
