- So the best way to fuck with everyone's expectations that I've decided to use here is to have a small but superpowered army show up out of nowhere and start working toward conquering the world. To what end? Well, pretty much no end at all aside from uplifting their society to use more than just Dust based products. But regardless, the Conspiracy and Demona all get to enjoy the Aura Booster before they get a copy of Aura For Everybody so that they can figure out semblances, and bulldoze any and all of the local idiots because there are an AWFUL lot of them.
- This, of course, gets a lot of attention on me. Being the source of this disruption, even if I'm pretending to lay low and be otherwise unremarkable, still gets the Grimm after me as they're the narrative equivalent of the world's immune system. And while I didn't chip in to get a variable weapon, I was able to start poking at them and put a few together.
- Not to mention having a reasonably massive supply of Dust at my disposal.
- That aside, though... I decided, for fun's sake, to just completely gum up the works and ruin literally everything Cinder touched. Try to go incognito? Arrange for a couple members of the Conspiracy to bump into her and recognize her and blow her cover. Try to steal something? Oops, someone just bumped into you and it disappeared. Managed to actually get it to someplace safe and lock it up, on the third attempt? Looks like it magically disappeared from the safe you thought it would be secure in. Broadcast a fake fight? Make sure that it ended up corrupting and looking like a bad jpeg before it showed what actually happened. Manage to steal incorporeal power? It fails randomly. Often. It's unreliable, and so is your Semblance. Almost like someone has an anti-magic field focused on you. Walking down the street minding your own business? SUDDENLY GRIMM. (Best semblance ever.)
- Kill someone?
- Find a fourteen foot man in plate armor on fire standing behind you looming ominously as he leans forward over you. Before he snaps his fingers and magically the person that just died is now standing in front of you, in full health, and PISSED.
- tl;dr It's fun to troll Cinder until her plot armor finally fails and she gets every bone broken by an amped-up Jaune after he just watched her kill Pyrrhia, despite the return to life.
- Although, learning to control and create Grimm, even if they're short-lived creatures of smoke and shadow, IS something that shows much promise...
