- Q: How to play Battlefield Heroes again?
- A: Go to http://discord.gg/revive and follow the instructions in the #bfheroes-news or the #bfheroes-chat channel. You will need an account on https://battlelog.co/ as well. The game is open for everyone right now so you don't need any special privileges.
- Q: Why can't I connect, get error 1001/1002, it says that I don't have a hero or I am stuck in matchmaking?
- A: This is not your fault and there is nothing you can do about it because it is caused by server overload or because the servers are down for maintenance. All you can do is wait & relax while Spencer and his crew are working on expanding the servers and making them more stable. Keep an eye on the #bfheroes-news channel.
- Q: How to get clothes and weapons?
- A: They are currently available for free. After release you might have to buy them with Valor Points as you won't be able to spend money.
- Q: Can I use my old BFH account?
- A: No, you have to create a new account, your old progress and stuff is lost.
- Q: Is the game available for free?
- A: Yes and it is going to stay free as well because Revive Network is not allowed to make money with the game.
- Q: What resolution and sensitivity are you using?
- A: These and my other settings are always in the description and are mostly kept up to date so expand it please.
- Q: What weapons are you using?
- A: You can answer this yourself by looking at the weapon's design, listening to its sound and by checking its ammo in the bottom right corner. Long range weapons have a different sound & ammo than short range weapons and mid range weapons are generally useless.

- How to remove the FPS-lock (workaround for Revive Heroes Open Beta below): *UNNECESSARY NOW BECAUSE SPENCER REMOVED THE FPS CAP AFTER I ASKED HIM TO DO IT*
- 1.) Go to C:\Battlefield Heroes (or wherever it is installed)\files\mods\bfheroes\settings\ and open the usersettings.con with an editor like Notepad++.
- 2.) Create a new line at the end of the file and insert this "game.lockfps 0" (without the ""). 0 unlocks the FPS completely, 300 caps it to 300 FPS, ...
- 3.) Save the file.
- 4.) Right-click the file and set it to read-only or it will be overwritten each time you start the game.
- ^ This generally still works with Revive Heroes BUT currently you will be stuck in an endless loop caused by the launcher trying to replace the file (because it is modified). Fortunately the game restarts itself after you close it so the workaround I found to make this work is to keep the file in its original state and replace it with the modified file (or modify the existing file but that is more work if you do this every time) WHILE the client is open. Then close the client and it is going to pop up again and it will take the modified file removes the framerate lock. You have to do this every time you want to play though so it is unfortunately a lot of work until Spencer changes the way the launcher works.
