  1. At my current company at Shepherd Neame Brewery, I worked as both a Visitor Centre Assistant and a Customer Services Assistant, and both roles are dependent on the delivery of a high-quality service to our customers. For example, during the daytime, I worked as a customer services assistant, contributing to the overall smooth and efficient running of the customer services team and ensuring the delivery of professional excellence, through the satisfaction of various customers. I achieved this through my commitment to carrying out complex administrative tasks, such as dealing with taking product orders over the phone and via email, keeping customers fully informed and up-to-date on relevant information and future plans, such as delivery date changes, offers, promotions and new products. Ultimately, I worked to ensure that customers were aware of what could and would be done. I worked as efficiently and accurately as possible to input the data from orders into the Customer Relationship Management programme, SAP, in order to deliver a high quality and reliable service and work to prevent any mistakes or problems arising. Equally, I dealt with any customer queries, taking responsibility of their problems and working to find the best solution. I liaised with internal departments and external companies to overcome any issues faced with the delivery or quality of the products. I also carried out other tasks such as processing ullage complaints and arranging courier services, extra deliveries and uplifts on empty barrels. I worked to meet targets on deliveries, calls handled, and promotions sold, in order to successfully meet the needs of both the customer and the business. The success of this work culminated in the Customer Services team winning the Team of the Year award in 2018. In the evenings and at weekends, I work as a member of the company’s visitor centre team. I work as a member of the front of house to organise, prepare and carry out various events, such as weddings, dinners, parties, shows and brewery tours. I am the first point of contact with our customers and work to directly deliver to their individual and diverse needs and requirements. Part of this role involves a strict adherence to company policies and regulation, largely in terms of security, health and safety, involving a level of risk management at each event and working with my team to prevent any safety hazards, such as fire evacuation planning, for example.
