  1. Re: http://www.droid-life.com/2014/04/23/att-announces-new-4g-lte-markets-rollout-to-complete-this-summer/
  2.
  3. Information retrieved on April 23, 2014 via http://maps.eng.t-mobile.com/
  4.
  5. Note: T-Mobile might be upgrading some of these areas, so their changes might not have been reflected on their coverage maps until these areas have been officially launched with the changes.
  6. Note 2: This comparison is only here to show how a lower-cost carrier with much less spectrum holds up to one with much more.
  7. Note 3: Coverage is about where YOU are most of the time and might visit, not if coverage is good where you'll never go.
  8.
  9. Of the 6 new AT&T areas with LTE, T-Mobile has:
  10. - 1 LTE area
  11. - 0 "4G" areas
  12. - 1 3G area
  13. - 1 2G area
  14. - 3 roaming areas
  15. - 0 no service area
  16.
  17. So, of the 6 areas, 4 of them will have very poor data performance but seemingly fine voice/text coverage.
  18.
  19. The list:
  20. - RM: Ketchikan, Alaska
  21. - LTE: Maui, Hawaii
  22. - 2G: Cambridge, Ohio
  23. - 3G: Meadville, Pa.
  24. - RM: Parkersburg, W. Va.
  25. - RM: Marietta, Ohio
