Chernobyl Fluffies

>Crate of a hundred fluffy ponies fell from cargo plane.
>Landed in Ukrainian wilderness.
>Half the fluffy ponies survived the crash, cushioned by the fluff of those who hit the ground first.
>A month later, the fifty survivors are down the thirty.
>Food is scarce, monsters come out at night.
>Not a single fluffy unicorn in the group.  The herd wanders without a smarty leader.
>Long, long time passes as the herd struggles to survive in the woods.
>Finally, they find human buildings.
>"Wook! New home! Hoomans haf' foodies!"
>The herd races through the grass field to the buildings.
>Lots of houses, and big buildings, lots of streets too.
>No humans.
>No humans anywhere.
>The herd breaks up as the fluffies desperately look for people.
>"Why no hoomans?" a fluffy wonders aloud.  "Fwuffy wan' daddy..."
>"Fwuffy wan' home!"  A few fluffies walk into an open door.
>"Woom messy!  Where hoomans?  Fwuffy hungwy..."
>The thirty fluffy ponies search the empty town for hours.
>A few fluffy ponies cut themselves on broken glass and bleed to death.
>One fluffy pony drinks a puddle of oil and vomits to death.
>The remaining herd gathers together as the sun sets.
>"No hoomans... need home!"
>The herd mentality drives them through the door of the biggest building in town.
>It's a REALLY big building.  Long, dark hallways inside.
>Fluffies cuddle together in the cold sterile dark.
>Various cries echoe through the power plant.
>"New home scawy."  "New home cold."  "Hungwy.  Why no foodies?"
>The herd eventually falls asleep.
>By sunrise.... the radiation poisoning has set in.
>The herd wanders through Chernobyl again, desperate for food.
>A fluffy mare notices her fluffy falling off with every step.
>"Why fwuff go way?!" she whimpers.  "Fwuffy sowwy, fwuff! No weave fwuffy! Too cold..."
>She freezes to death fairly quickly.
>Several fluffies have been puking and dry heaving since waking up.
>"No wike sickies!" they whimper between gags.  "Tummy huwty! No mowe sickies, pwese!"
>A fluffy pony losing it's fluff is also getting skin burns.
>"Owie!" he cries. "Fwuffy haf' owies! No wike new home!"
>His friend stumbles over. "Fwend haf' owies?  Huggies make betta!"
>A hug only singes the skin-burn.  The fluffy screams in pain.
>"Why fwuffy no wike huggies?!" his friend starts to cry. "Huggies make betta now?"
>A pegasus feels weak from hunger and poisoning.
>She begs a mailbox for help as her wings simply crumble off, the hollow bones having deteroiated.
>"Wingies?!" she sobs. "Wingies bweak??  Noo! Fwuffy wuv wingies!  Pwese, wingies! S'ay on!"
>Even more fluffies cut themselves on glass and rusty metal.
>Even more fluffies, crazed with spaghetti cravings, try eating copper wires.
>The herd had entered Chernobyl as a group of thirty.
>The group is now five terrified fluffies.  They spend the rest of the day begging their dead friends to wake up.
>Another long, cold, scary night in the big building.
>A cream-colored fluffy mare awakes and finds her friends have puked themselves to death overnight.  Their fluff is all over the floor.
>She is all alone.
>The last fluffy mare sobs and wanders deeper into the plant.
>"Hewp..." she whimpers, feeling dizzy and weak.  "Hewp fwuffy.... pwese...."
>Her soft voice echoes down the dark halls.
>"Fwuffy scawed.... dawk scarwy.... pwese hewp...."
>Fluffy pony falls into a vat of radioactive material.
>Fluffy pony starts growing huge.
>Bursts through hallways.  "Owies! Fwuffy no wike!"
>Explodes out of nuke plant.  "Fwuffy confoosed..."
>The city-sized fluffy pony walks across Ukraine.
>Farmlands are munched clean.  Towns are flooded under tidal waves of poop.
>Odessa is flattened by giga-fluffy's presence.
>"FWUFFY THIWSTY!!" the five-mile tall fluffy pony's voice booms across the hemisphere.
>Giga-Fluffy pony begins drinking from Black Sea.
>Giga-fluffy pony drowns.
>Ukraine considers getting around to cleaning up mess.
>Doesn't.  Lazy Ukrainians.
