  1. Archer: To unite dreams beneath a banner of conquest. I praise your efforts. But, warriors... Did you not understand? That all dreams must disappear when the dreamer wakes. Every last one of them. [Archer turns the key to his Gate of Babylon, summoning a single weapon from it to face Rider's army.] Therefore, it was inevitable that I would stand in your way. King of Conquerors, know the end of your eternal dream. I, myself, shall show you harsh reality.
  2.
  3. [Archer holds the three-segmented weapon above his head as its parts begin to turn and produce an enormous wind and energy.]
  4.
  5. Archer: Now awaken, Ea! A worthy stage has been set for you! Look up and behold...Enuma Elish!
  6.
  7. [The energy shoots forth, yet it doesn't quite hit anything--it spins, and rifts form in the desert sands and the blue sky. The world itself begins to crack and fall to pieces at Archer's words.]
  8.
  9. Waver: (Is that sword really the anti-world Noble Phantasm that can destroy anything?)
  10.
  11. [Behind Rider and Waver on Bucephalus, the army is utterly brought down beneath the crumbling ground. The sky and earth of Rider's Reality Marble crack and fade, leaving only Archer, Waver, Rider, and Bucephalus standing upon a bridge in Fuyuki City.]
  12.
  13. Waver: Rider...
  14. Rider: Come to think of it...there was something I wanted to ask you. Waver Velvet, would you like to serve as my retainer?
  15. Waver: You...you are my king. I will serve you, and only you. Please lead me... Let me dream your dream!
  16. Rider: Very well. [Rider picks Waver up by the back of his shirt and lifts him off the horse, placing him on the ground.] As king, my duty is to inspire others to dream. And as my retainer, it is your task to see my dream to the end, and to speak of it to future generations. Live, Waver. See all of this to the end. And when it is done, speak of it. Of your king...Of the charge of Iskandar! Now...let us go, Bucephalus! [Rider and his horse immediately begin charging Archer.]
  17. Waver: Rider--!
  18. Rider: (Glory lies beyond the horizon. Challenge it because you know you can not reach it. Speak of conquest, and make it real. For my men, who watch behind me!)
  19. [Archer's gate opens again, raining down swords like missiles. Bucephalus falls, and Rider continues on, smashing aside swords with his own. He comes within range and brings his sword down...but is stopped inches from Archer's head by divine chains summoned from the Servant's endless armory.]
  20. Rider: Your bag of strange tricks is really endless, isn't it?
  21. [Archer stabs Rider through the chest with Ea.]
  22. Archer: Have you awakened from your dream, King of Conquerors?
  23. Rider: Indeed...my heart danced a good deal...during this campaign.
  24. Archer: Challenge me again, as many times as you like. This world is my garden until the end of time. Thus, I can guarantee this...it will never bore you.
  25. Rider: I am glad to hear it... (I see...the beating of my heart...was the sound of Ōkeanós' waves...)
  26. [Defeated, Rider disappears. Archer approaches Waver.]
  27. Archer: Child...are you Rider's Master?
  28. Waver: No. I am his retainer...
  29. Archer: I see. But then, child, if you are truly loyal, your duty is to avenge your fallen king.
  30. Waver: If I challenge you, I will die.
  31. Archer: Of course.
  32. Waver: I can't do that. I was ordered to survive.
  33. [Archer stares at Waver for a moment before turning away.]
  34. Archer: Your loyalty is splendid. Never tarnish it.
  35. [Archer disappears as well. Left alone on the bridge, Waver finally allows himself to break down.]
