Official AIR MC Guidelines and Rules - Draft 1

Goal: AIR MC is dedicated to giving players the satisfaction they deserve. These rules and guidelines are created for a better and safer atmosphere. We ask that you (the player) respect all said rules, as they are our policy.

---Section 1: The Server---
a)	We strive for success, as well as giving our players a safe and enjoyable environment. We have a couple of rules to follow to make our atmosphere safe and enjoyable.
	1. Respect yourself, other players, and all staff members.
	2. As a player, you are asked to follow all rules. If you disagree with a staff's punishment towards you, you will be placed on a waiting list for reconsideration. If you attempt to harass a staff member you will be punished accordingly. If you harass a staff member while your previous punishment is under review, it will be declined automatically and your punishment will stand.
	3. Do not attempt to bypass the spam, hackusation, and advertisement filters. If you bypass our filters you will be punished.
	4. Racism is not tolerated. Hatred towards any race, social group (i.e: LGBT+, ethnicity, or religion), or gender will result in a punishment.
	5. TeamSpeak will be available. Rules will be separate from here, but you must follow all rules on TeamSpeak. You will be punished accordingly.
	6. Do not advertise any websites, social media, or other minecraft servers. If you advertise, you will be punished accordingly.
	7. Do not use any modifications that allow a greater advance against other players. Our banning policy is listed in Section 3c.

b) We have permission from all map creators. Credits are supplied on the map or around our server.

---Section 2: The Staff---
a) Ranking: (1 is the highest, 6 being the lowest)
	1.	Owner
	2.	Co-Owner
	3.	Admin
	4.	Mod
	5.	Chat Specialist (a.k.a: CS)

b) Eligibility and Roles
	1.	Owner: Runs all operations and works behind the scenes to make the server. Owner also oversees all staff operations and can see logs, files, and staff operations.
	2.	Co-Owner: Helps staff with minor issues such as chat glitches, bugs, etc; is the ‘right-hand-man’ to owner and helps operations behind the scenes.
	3.	Admin: Oversees staff operations and a little behind the scenes work. Admins have four set positions they oversee, Hacking/Recording, Website, Chat Violations, and Modding. The only way you can excel to be an admin is you must have 5 months of Mod, a good reputation, and will be able to dedicate time.
	4.	Mod: Records and bans players for set reasons. In order to excel to be a mod you must have 1 month of Chat Specialist, a good reputation, and a recording software that can upload videos at a fast rate and decent quality.
	5.	Chat Specialist: Chat Specialists are responsible for only chat related violations. You will need to complete 1 week of being a Temporary CS and understand all of the material and commands.
	6.	Temporary CS: This is a trial for all new staff members. You will have 1 week to complete chat violations at your best rate. The specialist team will decide if you are ready to move on. If you fail to complete the week you will be demoted, but do not be discouraged. If  we need staff at a higher rate, we will contact you first.

---Section 3: Chat Punishments and Rules---
Our punishments will all be logged. Warnings will be logged in the event of any dispute of a kick or mute. Any staff member will be able to see all of your warns, kicks, and mutes; as well as bans. However, you may be able to request a log report of any punishments you've received.

a) Minor Violations
	-Hackusations: (will be filtered) Kick, Mute (30 minutes)
	-Spamming: Mute (30 minutes)
	-Minor Chat Disrespect: Warning, Kick, Mute (6 hours)

b) Major Violations
	-Major Chat Disrespect: Kick; Mute (3 days at minimum)
	-Staff Disrespect: Mute (2 hours)
	-Racism: Kick, Mute (1 Day)
	-Death Comments: Mute (3 Days)
	-Advertisement of Websites: Mute (2 hours)
	-Advertisement of Servers: Mute (lifetime)

c) Banning Policy
	Mods or above are the only ones who can ban. We take hacking very seriously, it is not tolerated. We will be introducing an automatic hacking system that will run during the day, and as well at night while staff are offline. Please beware: the night time 'shift' is when hackers are most active. We will be 'amping' the sensitivity of the plugin at night, as staff are away.
	You will be able to appeal any ban, but it is 90% likely you will be denied. Details and facts are critical. To appeal, contact a staff member and they will guide you where to go from there.

	-Hacking and Plugin Bans: Ban (1 Month)
	-Hacking and Staff Bans: Ban (Forever)
	-More than 20 chat violations: Ban (1 day-2 days depending on severity and time)

d) Filtration of Chat:
	We will have a filter to filter certain phrases and words said in the chat. We will have a filter for spamming, advertisement, hackusations, and some disrespect. If you attempt to bypass the filter, you will be punished accordingly; please note that we (the staff) will think of any way to bypass any words.

	1.	Diamond -$30
	2.	Platinum - $15
	3.	Gold - $5

b) Ranks given by Owner's Discretion
	-Staff Ranks
	-YouTuber: YouTubers can contact the owner or co-owner(s) with any requests to be a certified YouTuber for our server. There is no retirements to be eligible, but the owner and co-owner(s) will look at your channel and determine if you are suited for the position.
	-Streamer: (regulations apply to YouTuber rank)
	-Developer
	-Temporary Positions (rare)
