  7. I can't fault the simplicity of the tiles. Four triangles. That's all. However, the gold seems to be haphazardly placed. I wasn't a fan of it, and plus it didn't strike me as being very simple at all. A few simple shapes would have worked better. All in all, the simplicity was used pretty well here.

  10. One concept. And all you have to do is perform it three times. The jumps were successively harder each time. The concept could have been more interesting though, perhaps adding a single enemy.

  13. This map was pretty boring. It wasn't particularly exciting. As I said in the simplicity of gameplay section, a single enemy could have made this map a lot more interesting, though for some people it may have detracted from the simplicity aspect of the map.

  16. The tiles would have looked cooler centered, but they look pretty cool. Simple, but kind of stylish. However the objects look quite ugly. The curves intended from the doors to the tiles (and vice versa) look quite sloppy, and the launchpad concept also looked kind of ugly too.

  28. There's a lot going on this level, and a lot of concepts here. Thus, the map doesn't feel too simple in my opinion.

  30. Gameplay/Fun Factor - 13/15
  31. A style I use in a lot of my maps is that getting to the exit isn't too hard, but getting the gold is quite challenge. lfaber uses it quite well here, the puppy and gausses are a challenge to the 29403-esque player. The map is fast-paced, fun, and replayable. The gausses are very well placed, posing a challenge for the wall-jump (as we all know, wall-jumping + rockets = challenging). A very fun map.

  34. I'm not too much of a fan of the bounce block in the wall. I think moving the bounce block squggle at the bottom of the map by half an E-tile would have looked much better. However the line of gold really compliments the tiles of this map.

  46. Yet again, one concept. Not a particularly complicated level at all. Get the exit using this cool concept, slide down the slope, get to the exit.

  49. The bounceblock beginning was a fun concept, but the level seemed too easy for my liking. Heck, I could get the extra gold between the mines at the top. But easy is fun right, and the first jump in this map is always fun. For a map with a concept like this, it needn't be overused, so all in all, a well done map.

  67. The map did feel very atmospheric, but it was kind of empty. The jumps were simple enough, and there wasn't particularly anything annoying in the map. Adding an enemy would have ruined the atmosphere, so this is hard to judge. I'll settle with 8.

  70. This map looks good. The buildings are really nicely constructed. However, I'm not a fan of the messy style, thus I wasn't a big fan of the trees. I liked the gold showers... pretty awesome and kinda strange at the same time. The mines were fine.

  97. I kinda regret choosing this category to judge. It's really hard to score how well the simplicity is used, and how simple the tiles are. The tiles aren't particularly simple enough for a 4/5, but they do compliment the map pretty well.

  100. Since there is a lot going on, it's not really super simple. However, you only really need to go round the 'roundabout' once. I think this map is a simple gauntlet roundabout of enemies, so this gets a better than average score.

  103. This is a very fun map. Really, really fun. It's short but sweet, not too easy, and the enemies are well placed, particularly the thwumps. You need a bit of skill to do that part. A fast-paced map with good difficulty. I liked it a lot.

  106. This map looks really nice too. The choice of the styling of the map really makes this map work. The tiles could have been a bit simpler (maybe git rid of the shapes inside the solid blocks) but the square alcove is a nice touch. The gold also looks really nice. All in all, a solid map, but not really that simple.

  115. Again, I regret making this a simple competition. This map does look pretty good, but it's hardly simple at all. There's a lot of shapes in this map and it looks quite busy.

  118. I hate to do this, because this is a pretty fun map, despite not being simple at all. There's a lot of stuff to do here, a lot of enemies to dodge, and with hardly any simplicity, I can't give this a good score.

  121. Getting to the exit is rather challenging, and there are some really irritatingly placed mines. In particular, the most top-left mine makes getting the 3x3 square of gold on the top-left really annoying to get, but since it's not cruicial to complete the map, I don't really mind too much. The rest of the map was quite fun though. I liked the centre section.

  132. Apart from the "triangle" (more like pentadecagon) at the bottom left, there was only really one tile motif here. It really works. The triangle could have been tweaked so that the motif could be continued on the bottom left, keepoing it constant.

  135. The simplicity of the concept was really fun, so doing this four times wasn't much of a hassle at all. I have to dock a point, though, since getting the exit switch was kinda annoying to do.

  138. This map was really fun. There was a perfect number of drones (one or two more would have made this map way too annoying). The mines are really nicely placed (it's not too hard to get the switches but the bottom two switches need some skill in order to be able to get them). A really fun and addictive map.

  152. The concept of getting the door switches is quite a decently fun, but hard one. (It is made a bit more complex on the right hand side with the rocket.)

  155. The map could get quite frustrating at times, especially the side with the rocket. Rockets and bounceblocks give me nightmares of my least favorite level in the entire original game (74-4: zenith). The rest of the map was 10.pretty fun, though not too exciting.

  165. Not what I was looking for in the simplicity aspect of things. This map has great aesthetics. They're just not simple. And this is what the contest is about.

  168. This map pulled simplicity off quite well. The map didn't feel cluttered. All there was to do was collect switches, collect some gold, and importantly, to avoid getting zapped. That's all there was to it. It wasn't orthodox simplicity but it wasn't one of those newfangled common complex maps.

  171. Solid fun. The gold wasn't especially challenging to get, however there were a few frustrating spots. I was never a big fan of toiling around in one-tile width when there's a gauss shooting right at you, and I'm too damn slow for that thwump. I can get passed the thwump on a good day but its' hard for a player like me.

  184. OK, now this is simple. The gameplay just feels simple. Avoiding a few drones (really nicely built. A good challenge). It just felt like a fun, simple romp (with some really complex tiles). Just what I was looking for in this competition. With some less complicated tiles the total score could have been higher... it's a shame. The simplicty of the game is used very well here too.

  225. The enemies here are a very good choice. The thwumps and the gausses work well together to make this quite challenge if you want to get all the gold. Getting an AGD here would be a very good challenge (but I'll never do it since I'm shockingly bad at N XD)

  242. Not as simple as an average VODKALOVER map (though I can't stand vodka at all, absolutely vile drink XD) this map really understood what I meant. Good work, oakstream. It's a nice mini rocket map and it's great fun, and there's nothing complex to it. Just get the exit switch and drop down to the exit. Nice.
