  2.
  3. Nicolas Q.: I'll pick Sap Gloves and Hard-Armor vest as my starting items
  4. Seeing that I already have a fire axe and 4 rifles
  5. Sure
  6.
  7. GM (GM): Those rifles are for sharing!
  8.
  9. Nicolas Q.: Fine
  10. But I'm taking the fire axe
  11.
  12. GM (GM): Its a giant axe
  13.
  14. Nicolas Q.: A greataxe?
  15.
  16. Jonathan Sommer: I'm ready
  17.
  18. Clayton R.: The WW3 axe?
  19.
  20. Nicolas Q.: I'm taking that :P
  21.
  22. Clayton R.: Can you lift 100 lbs?
  23.
  24. Nicolas Q.: I have 7 Str
  25.
  26. Clayton R.: or was it 300?
  27.
  28. Nicolas Q.: 420
  29.
  30. Clayton R.: link to main doc?
  31.
  32. GM (GM): Something the mercs put together out of a scap and plumbing parts
  33. Are you ready?
  34.
  35. Nicolas Q.: Yep
  36.
  37. GM (GM): https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9zUbKbVjWUBcTRWdDZqaTN1bXc
  38.
  39. Martin Baron: Yes.
  40.
  41. Suule: Where did we last left off?
  42.
  43. Jonathan Sommer: Martin's pissed
  44.
  45. Nicolas Q.: I had a shock collar on me because I ate a smaller rate
  46.
  47. GM (GM): There is the doc. No change... outside of sustanence to be rewritten.
  48.
  49. Nicolas Q.: (I'm a 6-7 ft tall rat)
  50.
  51. Martin Baron: Talking about the bomb in the lasagna.
  52.
  53. Nicolas Q.: rat*
  54.
  55. Cas Hutson: The group tried to handle the situation with the 6-7 ft rat, while I was inside the transporter
  56. Or was, unless I got out I think.
  57.
  58. Jonathan Sommer: And apparently something in the distance
  59. that Rato saw
  60.
  61. Nicolas Q.: But it was nothing after all
  62.
  63. We join our heroes again in the middle of nowhere as they stand at the precipace of beating the snot out of eachother.
  64.
  65. It seems like the are in the middle, and in any direction they have a mission waiting for them. Particular a supposed attack on Endtown and their ever-looming mission from Flask.
  66.
  67. Nicolas Q.: (Are they inside hershel or out?)
  68.
  69. Martin Baron finishes telling DJ and Clayton about the bomb run to Endtown in 3 days, demanding Cas to reveal any other information he's found.
  70.
  71. Also, people approach from the East!
  72.
  73. Clayton R. harrumphs, setting back to Hershel. "can we intercept this bomb or what?"
  74.
  75. Jonathan Sommer looks up at the horizon. He squints as he notices people from the east.
  76.
  77. RatDoto fiddles with his shock collar
  78.
  79. Claudius Silvanus: Bomb? I mean I heard of Endtown from the folks in Deep City but isn't Endtown secure enough for none of that to happen?
  80.
  81. Jonathan Sommer: "Easy there, pal, before you shock yourself into roadkill."
  82.
  83. RatDoto: "Are you going to press the button?"
  84.
  85. Jonathan Sommer: "If you do something stupid, yeah."
  86.
  87. GM (GM): Call it a 'unit test'
  88. gzaapp
  89.
  90. RatDoto yelps
  91.
  92. GM (GM): The figures are visible now! It appears to be a gaggle of reptilians, they are armed with crossbows and garbed in tribal clothing?
  93.
  94. Clayton R. calls back to the others, "Getin the transporter now. We have a bomb to intercept."
  95.
  96. RatDoto conveniently finds himself equipped with Sap Gloves and a Hard-Armor Vest
  97.
  98. Clayton R.: "I'm not gonna deal with these guys, let's go."
  99.
  100. RatDoto finds this rather ludicrous
  101.
  102. RatDoto: "Uhh"
  103.
  104. Cas Hutson fiddled about for a moment upon Martin's demand, having what was a bundle of letters that are together with a string. "Only other thing I found besides that note was these letters," Cas replied. "Haven't read them yet, but I'm guessing they're from the bird too." He tossed the bundle of letters over to Martin, expecting him to catch it.
  105.
  106. RatDoto: "Did you make this equipment appear with the shock collar?"
  107.
  108. Jonathan Sommer grabs Doto by the collar.
  109.
  110. Jonathan Sommer: "Com'on, lets go."
  111.
  112. RatDoto: "Hurk!"
  113.
  114. Jonathan Sommer drags Doto with him into the transporter.
  115.
  116. Proceed to Endtown?
  117.
  118. Martin Baron is already in the transport, catching Cas' collected letters and reading them one by one.
  119.
  120. Claudius Silvanus headshakes at Johnatan "George, meet Lennie. Lennie meet George"
  121.
  122. RatDoto complains to Jonathan
  123.
  124. RatDoto: "You know you could've asked nicely"
  125.
  126. Cas Hutson: (Yeah sure, to Endtown!)
  127.
  128. Martin Baron: ( Yeah. )
  129.
  130. Clayton R.: (( let's go, screw these guys ))
  131.
  132. Jonathan Sommer: "Could've, would've, should've."
  133. ((Lets go))
  134.
  135. Nicolas Q.: Is that a reference to George cappin Lenny?
  136. From Mice and Men?
  137.
  138. Claudius Silvanus: (( Of course ))
  139.
  140. Jonathan Sommer: ((I'm gonna tell you about the rabbits, Doto))
  141.
  142. Nicolas Q.: .....
  143. Are you an IB student...
  144.
  145. Jonathan Sommer: "Well, this looks mighty familiar."
  146.
  147. RatDoto rubs his neck
  148.
  149. Claudius Silvanus: (( I'm just well read ))
  150.
  151. Jonathan Sommer pops his head out of the transporter.
  152.
  153. Jonathan Sommer: "Hey hey, Harold!"
  154. ((Here we are))
  155.
  156. Martin Baron: ( Hey Kazen )
  157.
  158. Clayton R.: (( wait, the bomb is in Endtown? ))
  159.
  160. Cas Hutson: ((Hey Walker!))
  161.
  162. GM (GM): Kazen!
  163.
  164. M. Walker: Heyo
  165.
  166. Clayton R.: (( Hey Mana ))
  167.
  168. Nicolas Q.: Hi Walker
  169.
  170. Claudius Silvanus: (( Hi Kazen!)
  171.
  172. RatDoto looks outside the transporter
  173.
  174. M. Walker: ((Mostly dropping in to see what's going, also drawing on the side))
  175.
  176. RatDoto: "So this is Endtown"
  177.
  178. GM (GM): ((Sure, that's good))
  179.
  180. Endtown! A wonderous subterrainian subburb!
  181.
  182. GM (GM): Endtown! Featuring water, food, and shitters abundant!
  183.
  184. Jonathan Sommer: "Holy hell, how big is this place!"
  185.
  186. Martin Baron: ( I'm shocked the ratsec let us pass. )
  187.
  188. RatDoto: (You do have a rat on board)
  189.
  190. Cas Hutson: (Yeah)
  191. (Thought the ratsec would give a hard time on us)
  192.
  193. GM (GM): ( You guys have been in and out so often that they have streamlined it for you and any hangers on. )
  194.
  195. Jonathan Sommer: ((We speedwalk our way in))
  196.
  197. GM (GM): However, Rato, cas, and claud are issued 'vistor' passes for now.
  198.
  199. Cas Hutson: (Oh hey, cool)
  200.
  201. Jonathan Sommer: ((So I'm not on the record?))
  202.
  203. RatDoto: (Yay)
  204.
  205. Jonathan Sommer: ((Cool))
  206.
  207. Martin Baron considers delivering the letters and bomb run note to security, until he recalls what happened last he met with them and their chief. He instead considers to find Mallard and hope he's still not pissed off.
  208.
  209. RatDoto asks the group
  210.
  211. Clayton R. puts his hands to his hips, "So, Iwas under the impression that we were intercepting a vehicle... You mean to tell me that it's already here?"
  212.
  213. RatDoto: "Where can I go to get patched up?"
  214.
  215. Clayton R.: "hospital"
  216.
  217. Clayton R. points to the north west
  218.
  219. GM (GM): Well, that's the bit, you didn't find anyone on your way here. You can patrol topside or see if Endtown's security cams can spot anything.
  220.
  221. Martin Baron: "We don't know where the vehicle is nor the red bird Cas found the bomb note with. Our best chance is to inform security here now and catching them before they make it past security."
  222.
  223. RatDoto: "So you're letting a man you think is crazy to freely walk around?"
  224.
  225. Clayton R. shrugs. "I'm not. I have a bomb to worry about."
  226.
  227. Martin Baron: "If you did something that warrants our worry, you'd be dead before we'd even get to you."
  228.
  229. Claudius Silvanus looks around in wonder "This looks way better than Deep City..."
  230.
  231. Clayton R. turns to Cas, "Hey, you think you could sniff out any major component so a bomb that might be down here?"
  232.
  233. RatDoto shrugs, "I guess in that case I'll just walk myself to the hospital"
  234.
  235. RatDoto walks northwest
  236.
  237. GM (GM): You amble down the hospital where you are promptly stiched up. (150hp)
  238.
  239. Jonathan Sommer: "I'm guessing you guys won't be needing me?"
  240.
  241. Clayton R.: "We could use anyone about now. This is urgent"
  242.
  243. RatDoto walks out of hospital surprised at the efficiency "That was fast"
  244.
  245. Cas Hutson eyes over at Clayton, a small huff before responding, "Eh, sure. Gimme a moment."
  246.
  247. Jonathan Sommer: "Well, give me some details. I haven't even seen those papers."
  248.
  249. Clayton R. boots up his helmet's hud to see if he can pick up any suspicious materials.
  250.
  251. RatDoto promptly suffers a migraine. "Ughhhh"
  252.
  253. Claudius Silvanus hmss "I would hide the bomb in some sort of a sewer if I was doing it..."
  254.
  255. GM (GM): Cas! you might need afew bomb components as a sample to track!
  256.
  257. Clayton R.: rolling 1d100+40
  258. (3)+40= 43
  259.
  260. RatDoto looks around with a new look in his eyes
  261.
  262. RatDoto "Where am I?"
  263.
  264. Martin Baron: "It's not like there's one central sewer hub where they'd definitely be hanging out. It could be anywhere here."
  265.
  266. Claudius Silvanus shakes his head "...Darn... Supposely you don't have anyone that knows a whole lot of explosives on you now?"
  267.
  268. RatDoto inspects himself
  269.
  270. Clayton R.: "You mean like the 2 times someone had a bomb in the same location of the sewers?"
  271.
  272. Martin Baron: ( Nah man, one was under a hospital and one was a bit further away from that. )
  273.
  274. GM (GM): Clayton! You scan! This place is a mess of heat signatures, chemical traces, and everything else! But there are no noteworthy rad spikes or regis... Wait
  275. You do detect chemical signatures similar to C4 over at George's guns and bow
  276.
  277. RatDoto "Why do I have a GreatAxe?", finds a great axe made of scrap in his hands and starts twirling it around, surprised at how easy it is to wield it.
  278.
  279. RatDoto searches for the nearest person insight.
  280.
  281. Jonathan Sommer eyes Doto suspiciously before walking down the street towards a friendly looking bear-person.
  282.
  283. RatDoto: rolling 1d100 + 25
  284. (23)+25= 48
  285.
  286. Jonathan Sommer: ((Welp))
  287.
  288. GM (GM): Doto and Sommer! You see a bear man in a fishing hat. His leg is in a cast.
  289.
  290. RatDoto asks bear
  291.
  292. RatDoto: "Excuse me sir?"
  293.
  294. Clayton R. squints at his readings, but it was worth checking out at least. "Guys, I'm picking up plastic explosives at George's guns and bows"
  295.
  296. GM (GM): Proceed?
  297.
  298. Nicolas Q.: Is my avatar the Beaver?
  299.
  300. Cas Hutson: (Yeah sure)
  301.
  302. Martin Baron nods, stuffing the letters and note into his pocket to follow Clayton.
  303.
  304. Jonathan Sommer: ((You're the monster looking thing))
  305.
  306. Clayton R.: lets go
  307.
  308. GM (GM): RatSom! The bear replies with a, "Yea?"
  309.
  310. RatDoto: "Would you kindly tell me where I currently am? I appear to be lost as I remember being at a ruin"
  311.
  312. Bear: Hey, you were just in the hospital. Well, you're in Endtown. I'd like to think it's a improvement over a ruin.
  313.
  314. Jonathan Sommer puts on a smile and places a hand on Doto's shoulder.
  315.
  316. GM (GM): rolling 1d2
  317. (1)= 1
  318.
  319. Jonathan Sommer: "Don't mind my friend here, sun radiation getting to his head."
  320.
  321. RatDoto looks at the strange person
  322.
  323. Jonathan Sommer: "I want to ask some questions, myself..."
  324.
  325. RatDoto: "Who are you?"
  326.
  327. GM (GM): Sommer, you put your hand on Doto's patched up shoulder
  328.
  329. Bear: It's what I'm here for... What the!
  330.
  331. RatDoto winches in pain
  332.
  333. Cas Hutson: (I'll be right back, gotta do something)
  334.
  335. Walt spotted Clayton in the distance with his helmet on!
  336.
  337. GM (GM): (( kk))
  338.
  339. Clayton R.: (( this helmet, always an asset ))
  340.
  341. Nicolas Q.: winces*
  342.
  343. Jonathan Sommer: ((I'm guessing that's not good))
  344.
  345. he let's out a beastial roar and begins hopping down the street with this crutches held over his head
  346.
  347. Martin Baron: ( Seriously, paint the thing pink or something. )
  348.
  349. Jonathan Sommer: "Uh..."
  350.
  351. Clayton R.: (( fugg but also, lol ))
  352.
  353. Nicolas Q.: Who's roaring?
  354.
  355. Jonathan Sommer: ((The bear))
  356.
  357. Clayton R.: (( can I roll to spot him before he mangles me? ))
  358.
  359. Bear: C'mon you two! We ain't falling! not now not ever!
  360.
  361. Martin Baron: ( That's some good bear sight. )
  362.
  363. Clayton R.: (( bears sure are fast ))
  364.
  365. Jonathan Sommer looks at Doto before following the bear.
  366.
  367. GM (GM): The bear seems to imply that he wants Sommer and Dtot to follow
  368. ((He saves his energy for these occasions
  369.
  370. RatDoto looks at the bear
  371.
  372. Clayton R.: (( again, can i roll to spot him before I'm in killing range? ))
  373.
  374. RatDoto thinks I guess that will lead me somewhere
  375.
  376. GM (GM): Kind of hard to miss
  377. You notice him as he yells!
  378.
  379. RatDoto cautiously follows the bear and the beaver
  380.
  381. Jonathan Sommer: ((Raccoon))
  382.
  383. Nicolas Q.: Racoon*
  384.
  385. GM (GM): Anyone else moving in on this curffufle?
  386.
  387. Martin Baron: ( I'm with Clayton going to the gun store. )
  388.
  389. Jonathan Sommer looks over at Clayton, then the bear, then at Clayton again.
  390.
  391. Jonathan Sommer: "Know each other?"
  392.
  393. Clayton R. jumps over the sound of the bestial roar, only spotting the bear moments after as it comes barreling around a corner. Clayton holds up his hands in in some mock surrender. "What the hell is wrong with you?!"
  394.
  395. Cas Hutson: (Okay, I'm back)
  396.
  397. GM (GM): Still have the helmet on?
  398.
  399. Clayton R.: (( yeah, but I'm not armed right now. clay is used to wearing it at this point. ))
  400.
  401. Claudius Silvanus looks at Clay and pulls the helmet off of his head
  402.
  403. Claudius Silvanus: I think he hates this
  404.
  405. GM (GM): Cas, as you were are also on the bomb search you followed clayton on the lead.
  406.
  407. RatDoto catches up to the racoon and the bear only to find the strange group of people he met in the ruins
  408.
  409. Clayton R. glares back at Claud as the helmet is ripped off, "Hey, give that back you prick."
  410.
  411. RatDoto silently watches their antics
  412.
  413. Walt, upon seeing your helmet removed, loses his mayoral rage and also his balance. He tumbles over and over in the street until he is lying flat on this back.
  414.
  415. Martin Baron: "Oh for... You know, I'm surprised you're not shot dead in the streets for wearing that Clayton."
  416.
  417. Claudius Silvanus looks at Clay "Make this a habit - pull it off when you're done. This is another time someone wants to kill us over this and know why."
  418.
  419. Jonathan Sommer: "You alright?"
  420.
  421. Claudius Silvanus tosses Clay the helmet and rushes to help Walt up
  422.
  423. Walt: ...don't help me up. I think I broke something new.
  424.
  425. RatDoto finally notices the shock collar hidden under his clothes and vest
  426.
  427. RatDoto (Why do I have a shock collar?)
  428.
  429. RatDoto looks at Walt and helps him up
  430.
  431. RatDoto: "You okay sir?"
  432.
  433. Walt screams in pain as you try to help him up. "What did I just say?!" he shouts
  434.
  435. Clayton R. is fuming for a short time until the helmet is tossed back, "Fine, whatever... it's not like I just used it to our benefit."
  436.
  437. RatDoto checks the bear for injuries using his vague memories of being a doctor
  438.
  439. Nicolas Q.: What kind of roll do I do?
  440.
  441. Cas Hutson shook his head over the current situation involving the bear. He didn't have time on something silly like this. He went on ahead and enter into GGB.
  442.
  443. Jonathan Sommer scratches his chin at this ongoing mess. He turns towards the store and examines the insides.
  444.
  445. GM (GM): What's your skill level?
  446.
  447. RatDoto: Currently a rank 1 surgeon I guess :P
  448.
  449. Claudius Silvanus: Well yes, thank you for that, Darkman. I'm just saying... you're gonna get killed because of it one day."
  450.
  451. GM (GM): Okay this is a good lesson
  452.
  453. Clayton R. clasps his hands together, "Fine... let's just follow our lead. you ready?" He doesn't pay much attention to the bear now that he's now being threatened anymore.
  454.
  455. GM (GM): Skills are 1d100+stat bonus+skill level
  456. For surgery it's agility bonus+skill level.
  457. Surgery: Agility. Use: The cool nerves and steady hand to perform invasive surgery on patients. Surgery level skill requires a lot of learning but also legendary hand eye coordination. Besides the regular brain and heart your skills come in very handy working on cyborgs
  458.
  459. Nicolas Q.: So about 1d100+25+30?
  460.
  461. GM (GM): Yep
  462. Beat 60
  463.
  464. Nicolas Q.: rolling 1d100 + 55
  465. (14)+55= 69
  466.
  467. GM (GM): Your diagnosis: He's twisted his ankle
  468.
  469. RatDoto looks at the bear's ankle
  470.
  471. GM (GM): Since his other foot is in a cast, probably best to get him some wheels.
  472.
  473. RatDoto: "Seems you twisted your ankle on your good leg"
  474. "Would you require assistance to the hospital?"
  475.
  476. Nicolas Q.: How heavy is the bear?
  477.
  478. GM (GM): About ~500
  479.
  480. Claudius Silvanus looks at the bear "You okay there, sir? You looked quite upset"
  481.
  482. Nicolas Q.: Can't lift QAQ
  483.
  484. RatDoto looks at the rabbit
  485.
  486. Cas Hutson: (You could if you got someone else to help you out on carrying the bear maybe.)
  487.
  488. Bear: call an ambulance please...
  489.
  490. RatDoto: "This gentlemen needs to get to the hospital, he twisted his ankle"
  491. "Would you care to assist me in escorting him ?"
  492.
  493. Jonathan Sommer turns to Doto. "You heard the man. Call 'em docs up."
  494.
  495. Clayton R.: "Just call an ambulance like he asked."
  496.
  497. RatDoto stares blankly at Clayton
  498.
  499. RatDoto: "Ambulances..."
  500.
  501. GM (GM): George greets Cas as he enters the door.
  502.
  503. RatDoto shakes his head rapidly
  504.
  505. Clayton R. shrugs back at ratdoto and heads inside of george's
  506.
  507. RatDoto mumbles to self
  508.
  509. RatDoto: "Of course they have ambulances"
  510.
  511. Jonathan Sommer sighs.
  512.
  513. Martin Baron notices RatDoto's gaze to him and glares back, walking to the gunstore and opening the door to yell at George, "Get on the phone and call an ambulance here, Walt's down right in front of your store."
  514.
  515. RatDoto stays with the bear until the paramedics arrive
  516.
  517. GM (GM): George springs into action! He dials and talks heroically.
  518.
  519. Walt: So... You have a topsider helmet?
  520.
  521. Clayton R.: (( I went inside the store. ))
  522.
  523. Jonathan Sommer whistles to Claude and tosses him the shock switch.
  524.
  525. Claudius Silvanus nods "A souvenier I take... a useful one. It has all kinds of sensors. And please don't touch the exposed wires. This whole armour is made to whistand shocks up to 9000V 50A"
  526.
  527. GM (GM): (( Apparently Walt asked that to thin air then.
  528.
  529. RatDoto listens to the conversation and thinks about the information "topsiders?"
  530.
  531. Clayton R. searches around the store while george is busy
  532.
  533. Clayton R.: rolling 1d100+30
  534. (55)+30= 85
  535.
  536. Walt: So... What do you two do then?
  537.
  538. Jonathan Sommer: "I do tricks for children's birthday parties."
  539.
  540. RatDoto: "I vaguely recall being a surgeon"
  541.
  542. GM (GM): Clayton. You find a plethura of guns, bows, and other things. Although you do notice that there are some displays that look like they were cut out to display hand grenades or bombs, but they are empty.
  543.
  544. Clayton R.: (( how populates is the store? ))
  545.
  546. Walt: That seems strangely related...
  547.
  548. Clayton R.: *populated
  549.
  550. Jonathan Sommer smirks. "More than you think!"
  551.
  552. GM (GM): It appears that there is Cas and George in the store.
  553.
  554. RatDoto appears confused
  555.
  556. Jonathan Sommer: "Anyway, I've gotta go do something, Mr. ..."
  557.
  558. Clayton R.: (( alright can I hunker down behind an aisle to get a view with my Topsider Helmet? ))
  559.
  560. RatDoto sits down next to the bear and attempts to clear out head
  561.
  562. Cas Hutson: (Gotta be right back again. Sorry.. It'll be quick)
  563.
  564. GM (GM): NP
  565.
  566. Martin Baron stays outside of the store, resting against the front door as a way to prevent any civilians from walking inside in case things get hairy.
  567.
  568. Bear: Walt, Mayor Walt if you could believe that.
  569.
  570. Martin Baron: ( brb 2 minutes )
  571.
  572. Jonathan Sommer: "Mr. Walt. Have a sunny day."
  573.
  574. RatDoto looks at the Bear named Walt, while appearing troubled.
  575.
  576. Jonathan Sommer pats Doto on the shoulder and eyes him sternly. "Stay out of trouble, yeah?"
  577.
  578. RatDoto: "Well, hello Walt. I'm...."
  579.
  580. Clayton R.: rolling 1d100+40
  581. (27)+40= 67
  582.
  583. RatDoto quickly turns to the Racoon and thinks "Trouble?"
  584.
  585. GM (GM): Clayton, I appears that there are bomb components under the desk by george
  586.
  587. Claudius Silvanus pats the bear on the shoulder as he supports him "Pleasure to meet you Mr. Walt... I'm Claudius, from Deep City. Can't say I that our mayor is as friendly as you"
  588.
  589. Jonathan Sommer nods and walks away without a word.
  590.
  591. RatDoto looks back at Walt and extends hand for a handshake.
  592.
  593. Martin Baron: ( Back. )
  594.
  595. Clayton R.: (( alright, I'll remove the helmet then ))
  596.
  597. Jonathan Sommer: ((Time to ransack this joint))
  598.
  599. RatDoto: "RatDoto is my name"
  600.
  601. GM (GM): You get a handshake.
  602.
  603. Cas Hutson: (Back too)
  604.
  605. Clayton R. stands up after putting his helmet away. He approaches Cas, whispering to him "Hey, he has bomb components under the desk"
  606.
  607. Jonathan Sommer surveys for the nearest general store that isn't surrounded by guns.
  608.
  609. RatDoto starts asking Walt a series of questions
  610.
  611. Cas Hutson: (Ooh, bomb components under George's desk? Hm.. We would have to either persuade George to take a look at the bomb components, or just take them for a moment.)
  612.
  613. RatDoto: "Excuse me Walt. I'm sorry if I seem to be completely delusional, but what year is it?"
  614.
  615. GM (GM): Walt looks at RatDoto.
  616.
  617. Walt: About 20xx+3
  618.
  619. Clayton R.: (( we could interrogate him too since bombs a re pretty illegal in Endtown ))
  620.
  621. RatDoto: "+3?"
  622.
  623. GM (GM): Three years after the apocalypse
  624.
  625. Cas Hutson gives a slight nod at Clayton, replying back in a whisper, "Alright, but how do we get them though? This guy ain't going easily budge over taking a little look at 'em."
  626.
  627. Jonathan Sommer: ((Can I start thieving, GM, or should I wait?))
  628.
  629. Clayton R. shrugs, "We can corner him, we are in the right here. let me talk, just get ready to fight if need be, try to keep it nonlethal."
  630.
  631. RatDoto: "Where is Endtown on a map?"
  632.
  633. The ambulance has arrived rat security hoists the opulant ursine up and into the wagon, waving their guns in all directions.
  634.
  635. Walt: Hey, just try relaxing a moment, man. If you need anything talk to an info desk.
  636.
  637. RatDoto blankly stares at the entire process
  638.
  639. Walt: I'll be in the office if you need a mayor, or at the dock.
  640.
  641. RatDoto meekly nods his head
  642.
  643. GM (GM): The take Walt away uncermoniously.
  644.
  645. Clayton R. approaches George, putting his hands to his hip, and next to his weapon. "George... Why do you have explosive components in your store?.."
  646.
  647. Jonathan Sommer waves as the ambulance passes by.
  648.
  649. George holds completely still when you say explosive.
  650.
  651. RatDoto begins pondering on newly learned information.
  652.
  653. Martin Baron looks inside to see Clayton going for George. He whistles to get RatDoto's attention, motioning to go inside the store.
  654.
  655. Clayton R.: "Where did you get them?"He presses
  656.
  657. GM (GM): ( You may now roll pickpocket to pick pockets sommer
  658.
  659. Claudius Silvanus headshakes and walks into the gun store when his duty is done, handing back John the remote
  660.
  661. Martin Baron: ( Hey GM, is there a flip open / closed sign? )
  662.
  663. RatDoto: (3 years? I thought it was only a month after the apocalypse.)
  664.
  665. GM (GM): ( Of course)
  666.
  667. Jonathan Sommer: rolling 1d100+35+20+10
  668. (36)+35+20+10= 101
  669.
  670. RatDoto: (What happened? Why don't I remember the past 3 years?)
  671.
  672. Jonathan Sommer is annoyed that he's stuck with remote again.
  673.
  674. GM (GM): ( Nay, otherwise you'd be taking missions from Duck Donnie.))
  675. Sommer, you picked a wallet!
  676.
  677. Nicolas Q.: How much strength is required to rip the collar off?
  678.
  679. Cas Hutson stands nearby of Clayton, alert and ready in case of a fight breaking out.
  680.
  681. GM (GM): It's contents: $45, an Endtown ID, and a paperclip.
  682.
  683. Claudius Silvanus walks into the store and gives Martin, Cas and Clay a look "Something's wrong?"
  684.
  685. Martin Baron enters the gun store, flipping the open sign to closed, one hand in his pocket in case of a fight.
  686.
  687. RatDoto: (Why am I here? Why do I have a collar on me?)
  688.
  689. Jonathan Sommer: "Bingo."
  690.
  691. Jonathan Sommer examines the ID.
  692.
  693. Clayton R. keeps his eyes on George
  694.
  695. GM (GM): Surely, Claudius would have a shock mechanism if someone tried to remove it, right?
  696.
  697. Clayton R. repeats himself. "Where did you get the explosives George?"
  698.
  699. RatDoto looks at the store's door, noticing the rabbit flipping the sign to the closed section.
  700.
  701. If cats could sweat George would be flowing.
  702.
  703. He continues to remain silent and unmoving.
  704.
  705. Claudius Silvanus: (( Well it would pretty much send a semi lethal shock because of the capacitors fired at once ))
  706.
  707. Martin Baron: ( Want me to try? )
  708.
  709. RatDoto: (Why would he do that?)
  710.
  711. RatDoto stands up and reads the sign
  712.
  713. Clayton R. remains still, trying not to start a firefight. "You don't have to go down George, but we need answers."
  714.
  715. GM (GM): (( Perhaps he thinks if he holds still you won't notice him.))
  716.
  717. RatDoto: (George's Guns and Bow. Huh, wonder why we're here.)
  718.
  719. RatDoto enters the Gun Store nonchalantly.
  720.
  721. GM (GM): Doto, try to remove collar?
  722.
  723. Jonathan Sommer continues looking for pockets.
  724.
  725. Clayton R. winces, hearing the behemoth step inside. He silently curses the rat
  726.
  727. Nicolas Q.: Just asking
  728.
  729. Clayton R.: "George.... Will you comply?"
  730.
  731. RatDoto is clueless to the situation.
  732.
  733. George curls his lip in increasing terror.
  734.
  735. Nicolas Q.: (Did I turn into an rat ogre?)
  736.
  737. GM (GM): Closest thing to you character's description.
  738. George begins speaking.
  739.
  740. Jonathan Sommer: rolling 1d100+35+20+10
  741. (79)+35+20+10= 144
  742.
  743. Clayton R. motions his hands back to the others. He holds position, ready to spring into action.
  744.
  745. GM (GM): I'll get to you in a bit sommer.
  746.
  747. Jonathan Sommer: ((Fair enough))
  748.
  749. GM (GM): I-I don't do those sales. That's frank.
  750.
  751. Clayton R.: "Who's Frank?"
  752.
  753. RatDoto head turns sideways, attempting to piece together what is occurring inside the shop.
  754.
  755. Frank: I'm Frank.
  756.
  757. RatDoto: (What's going on?)
  758.
  759. GM (GM): A large humanish figure appears in the corner.
  760.
  761. Clayton R.: (( FRANK HORRIGAN!))
  762.
  763. RatDoto casually glances at Frank
  764.
  765. Jonathan Sommer: ((PREPARE TO DIE MUTIE))
  766.
  767. GM (GM): He appears to be a human with scalely skin and a lazy eye that moves independantly. A half-mutant you think.
  768.
  769. Clayton R. turns to Frank. "I assume you are aware of how illegal this is right?"
  770.
  771. Frank: You a cop?
  772.
  773. Martin Baron has his hand on the taser in his pants pocket, keeping an eye on Frank and George for any sudden movements.
  774.
  775. RatDoto: (A shakedown?)
  776.
  777. Clayton R. arches an eyebrow. "I work for Endtown Sec at the moment."
  778.
  779. George: Now, uh, let's be peacible here. Everyone has a right to defend themselves now!
  780.
  781. GM (GM): Frank has taken a defensive stance
  782.
  783. RatDoto: (A fight?)
  784.
  785. Frank: This a bust?
  786.
  787. Clayton R.: "I agree... but you don't think bombs are bit much?"
  788.
  789. RatDoto visibly starts shaking in fear at the thought of it, but it appears to be shaking in anticipation
  790.
  791. Frank: For surface jobs.
  792.
  793. Clayton R. has a hand to his back, motioning to the others if they hadn't already picked up on what was happening.
  794.
  795. Frank's fist tighten and fangs appear from his mouth, he seems ready to strike and any moment.
  796.
  797. Cas Hutson slowly places his hand over his 9mm, expecting a fight to break out any moment now.
  798.
  799. RatDoto: (He has fangs!)
  800.
  801. Clayton R. shakes his head "Endtown Sec provides all explosives for topside frank."
  802.
  803. GM (GM): (He's a half mutant with chemleon and snake traits.
  804.
  805. RatDoto teeth start chattering, which appears to others that he is giddy for a fight
  806.
  807. GM (GM): ((My spelling is horrible today.))
  808.
  809. RatDoto nervously says "are we going to fight", however it unintentionally sounds menacing
  810.
  811. Claudius Silvanus: (( Can I put my shock lance very close to his face? ))
  812.
  813. Frank: No bombs, no smoke, no CS. We carry that.
  814.
  815. Nicolas Q.: Whos face
  816.
  817. Claudius Silvanus: (( Frank's ))
  818.
  819. Frank: If this was a bust you would have arrested us by now. Why are you here?
  820.
  821. GM (GM): (( Frank's))
  822.
  823. Clayton R. isn't buying it. "I know for a fact, that they do have those Frank... and I want to know your supplier."
  824.
  825. RatDoto starts hyperventilating, but seems like he is getting excited for battle
  826.
  827. George: "Yeah, and where is your warrant?" George speaks before hiding under the desk.
  828.
  829. Frank: I make them.
  830.
  831. Clayton R. cast a brief glare at ratdoto, than back to the store owners. I don't need one. I'm working under Flask, and you are doing something extremely illegal.
  832.
  833. RatDoto equips his Scrap Great Axe in order to comfort himself, however it seems like he's ready to battle at any moment.
  834.
  835. George: Hardly!
  836.
  837. Frank: We make from chems and scrap. People buy. That's it.
  838.
  839. Clayton R.: "Really? What about this?" he motions to Martin to come forth with the message.
  840.
  841. RatDoto: (Calm down Rat, it's okay, there is no fighting, just 3 men talking to each other while holding weapons)
  842. (Nothing to fear)
  843.
  844. GM (GM): (Two men and a cat)
  845. Give up message, martin?
  846.
  847. Martin Baron complies and walks to the front desk, tossing the folded message onto the desk.
  848.
  849. GM (GM): The two look at it.
  850.
  851. George: What is this supposed to mean?
  852.
  853. Claudius Silvanus: It means there's a bomb here...
  854. ...and there are bomb components here
  855.
  856. Clayton R.: "It means that endtown has a bomb in coming and you were the only 2 I picked up with explosives."
  857.
  858. GM (GM): The two look at eachother.
  859.
  860. RatDoto slowly starts calming down, however appears like he is disappointed that there is no fighting
  861.
  862. Clayton R.: "That is... unless you are withholding information."
  863.
  864. Frank: Stop the bull-sheet.
  865.
  866. Suddenly George pops down and up with a sawed-shotgun and Frank hisses, revealing a warped toothed tongue!
  867.
  868. Clayton R.: roll init now?
  869.
  870. George: You spits will get the rest when you pay up!
  871.
  872. Martin Baron: "Get the rest?! The hell are you on about?!"
  873.
  874. Frank: We ain't falling for it! Security are all rats! You're trying to scam us, "Wind Bags!"
  875.
  876. Nicolas Q.: We fighting?

  884.
  885. Cas Hutson: rolling 1d100+20
  886. (76)+20= 96

1011. Martin Baron: ( You at least wasted his actions )
  1012.
  1013. Clayton R.: (( that works at least. ))
  1014.
1015. GM (GM): You kick the shotgun out from his hands, it twirls and lands in a corner.
  1016. Martin!
  1017.
1018. Clayton R. barely manages to swat the gun from the cat's hands. He yells back to the team, "Take down the brute!"
  1019.
1020. Martin Baron: "We're trying to save Endtown, dammit! Have you been dealing with a red bird?!"
  1021.
1022. Claudius Silvanus fires off his stun lance "WE'LL TAKE CARE OF YOU, TRAITOR!"
  1023.
1024. Martin Baron: ( I'm using my one question then I'm tasing Frank Horrigan. )
  1025.
1026. Claudius Silvanus: (( Finally... I could use that ))
  1027.
  1028. GM (GM): Shoot!
  1029.
1030. Jonathan Sommer: ((He used it, GM))
  1031.
  1032. Martin Baron: ( Yeah, I asked about a red bird. )
  1033.
1034. Frank: You're not with her?
  1035.
  1036. Jonathan Sommer: ((Aw shiet))
  1037.
  1038. GM (GM): Actions?
  1039.
  1040. Martin Baron: ( Can I respond? )
  1041.
1042. GM (GM): Only if you agree to wait action
  1043.
1044. Martin Baron: ( Yeah, it might lead to end combat. )
1045. ( Plus we outnumber them heavily, if it doesn't go well, we're still fine. )
1046. "No! We found this note and a bunch of letters on him! Er, her!"
  1047.
1048. Frank: Yeah, they bought our stock. They didn't have enough for all of it so they said they would go to the surface for a quick cash grab.
  1049.
1050. Martin Baron: ( Can I ask another question or is my turn up? )
  1051.
1052. GM (GM): Things have desculated so [combat end]
  1053.
1054. Martin Baron: ( Cool. Sorry Rat Ogre. )
  1055.
  1056. Nicolas Q.: NP
  1057.
1058. Jonathan Sommer: ((Aw man, I was waiting for a gun to go off))
  1059.
1060. Martin Baron: "Wait, who are they? Was there someone else besides the red bird?"
  1061.
1062. GM (GM): Man, this guy has poison spit and everything...
  1063.
1064. Clayton R. is within arms reach of George, but he's glad things have backed down.
  1065.
1066. Martin Baron: ( Bet he was resistant to tasers too, wasn't he? )
  1067.
1068. Cas Hutson slowly puts his 9mm away, still alert however in case of things tensing up again.
  1069.
1070. RatDoto: (Seems the situation was defused, best not tempt a fight, the security from earlier had some sophisticated weaponry)
  1071.
1072. Claudius Silvanus stands down... but eyes Frankie and George...
  1073.
1074. Martin Baron: ( I asked another question, wanted to see if there were others. )
  1075.
1076. RatDoto drops his battle stance, but holds great axe at attention
  1077.
1078. GM (GM): ( Oh sorry.)
  1079.
1080. George: Yeah, all birds. Gloating about New Persia or something.
  1081.
1082. Claudius Silvanus: ...Isn't New Persia under new rule or something?
  1083.
1084. Martin Baron: "Oh you gotta be @#$*#!? me..."
  1085.
1086. Claudius Silvanus: I heard something about that while working on a radio
  1087.
1088. Martin Baron: "Dammit, that #$*%(@! mantis we picked up is probably in with them. Ungrateful bug..."
  1089.
1090. Frank: Yeah, they call themselves the "Winds of Disruption." Real idiots
  1091.
  1092. RatDoto: (So they]
  1093.
1094. Clayton R. frowns, "for rea;?"
  1095.
  1096. Clayton R.: *for real
  1097.
1098. RatDoto: ('re literal bird brains)
  1099.
1100. Frank: yep. Acting like big shots.
  1101.
1102. Claudius Silvanus: So... you could say...
  1103.
1104. Martin Baron: "But look, we found this note and a bunch of letters on that red bird. I haven't touched the letters yet, but they're planning on bombing Endtown in just three days."
  1105.
1106. Claudius Silvanus: ...it was a wild goose chase?
  1107.
1108. Jonathan Sommer: ((Time to put the shock collar on, Claude))
  1109.
1110. Claudius Silvanus: (( Claudius body was never found ))
  1111.
1112. Cas Hutson: ((Pf f hahahaha))
  1113.
1114. Nicolas Q.: You're gonna shock me now?
  1115.
1116. Frank: Well, it did sound like they were going to come back.
  1117.
1118. Martin Baron: "Listen man, you ever see that bird or any that are with them, get the security immediately. They might be coming back soon for the rest of those bomb parts."
  1119.
1120. Claudius Silvanus rubs his chin "When was this?"
  1121.
1122. George: I don't know how to react to that second part.
  1123.
1124. Martin Baron: "Long before we picked you up Claud... Before we ever found Deep City I think."
  1125.
1126. Frank: I'd check the air if you're looking for these guys. Birds are always flying.
  1127.
1128. Jonathan Sommer: ((GM, can I find clues on the streets or is that only through Frank?))
  1129.
  1130. GM (GM): Sure!
  1131. Roll smooze
  1132.
1133. Jonathan Sommer: ((Just 1d100, right?))
  1134.
1135. GM (GM): plus mind plus skill
  1136.
1137. Cas Hutson: ((I could ask George if I could see the few bomb components to roll on smelling them))
  1138.
  1139. Jonathan Sommer: rolling 1d100+25
  1140. (69)+25= 94
  1141.
1142. Martin Baron: ( Also, mind if I read the letters? No one here has yet and you didn't get back to me on it. )
  1143.
1144. GM (GM): You are able to learn by asking around that two days ago a bunch of birds came in and left.
1145. Apparently they were very hostile to people. They left shouting how they would be back
  1146.
  1147. Jonathan Sommer: "How rude."
  1148.
1149. Martin Baron: ( Oh god, what if the 3 days note thing was off? Like we found it 2 days from when the red bird got it.)
  1150.
1151. GM (GM): Well its a piece of paper. It's not like it can get real time updates
  1152.
1153. Jonathan Sommer: ((Can I ask where they went?))
  1154.
1155. GM (GM): Roll shmooze again, beat 100
  1156.
  1157. Jonathan Sommer: ((Oh boy))
  1158. rolling 1d100+25
  1159. (41)+25= 66
  1160.
1161. GM (GM): Roll! For all you are worth!
  1162.
  1163. Jonathan Sommer: ((no good))
  1164.
  1165. Claudius Silvanus: (( Yeah that's what I'm saying Martin... I think it's outdated ))
  1166.
1167. Martin Baron: ( I got 1 skill in schmoozing, can I assist for a combination roll? )
  1168.
1169. Jonathan Sommer: ((Get your butt out here))
  1170.
  1171. GM (GM): Sure!
  1172. So +20
  1173.
  1174. Jonathan Sommer: rolling 1d100+25+20
  1175. (14)+25+20= 59
  1176.
  1177. Martin Baron: ( To the +25 Jonathan's got? )
  1178.
1179. Cas Hutson: ((I'll try asking George to take a look at the bomb components, if that'll be alright GM.))
  1180.
  1181. Martin Baron: ( Didn't matter anyway )
  1182.
1183. Jonathan Sommer: ((Dice does not like me))
  1184.
1185. GM (GM): George compiles for some reason
  1186.
1187. Jonathan Sommer looks to Martin.
  1188.
1189. Jonathan Sommer: "Apparently a couple birds came through here being assholes."
  1190.
1191. RatDoto walks towards Jon and Martin
  1192.
1193. RatDoto: "What are you guys doing?"
  1194.
1195. Jonathan Sommer: "They skipped town not too long ago."
  1196.
1197. RatDoto: "Why don't we try going to the info desk?"
  1198.
1199. Claudius Silvanus: So what now... are we gonna follow them or?
  1200.
1201. Jonathan Sommer eyes Doto. "Staying out of trouble, right?"
  1202.
1203. GM (GM): So its a perception check +20 for you cas
  1204.
1205. Martin Baron: "Nothing on where they might be or when they'll come back?"
  1206.
1207. RatDoto: "If they were such assholes people must be complaining about them"
  1208.
1209. Cas Hutson approaches the bomb components and takes a sniff at them.
  1210.
  1211. Cas Hutson: rolling 1d100+20
  1212. (1)+20= 21
  1213.
  1214. Jonathan Sommer: "Nothing, yet."
  1215.
  1216. Cas Hutson: (Woo whee)
  1217.
1218. GM (GM): The acrid smell of gunpowder burns your nose abit.
  1219.
1220. RatDoto walks back inside the store.
  1221.
1222. RatDoto: "Hey, Cas what are you doing?"
  1223.
1224. Cas Hutson reels back from the smell of gunpowder, placing his paw over his snout. "Tryin' to smell these parts? What does it look like I'm doing?" He replied, his eyes still focused at the bomb components.
  1225.
1226. Jonathan Sommer: "Martin, I have an idea."
  1227.
  1228. RatDoto: "Why?"
  1229.
  1230. Martin Baron: "What's up?"
  1231.
1232. Jonathan Sommer: "These locals probably haven't seen good entertainment in a while."
1233. "We'll charm some info outta them."
  1234.
1235. Claudius Silvanus rubs his face... "Don't you have someone you know... in charge of these affairs? That Flask person? Or is there someone well more of a people's person"
  1236.
1237. RatDoto sniffs bomb components. (Using Chem Scent)
  1238.
1239. Martin Baron: "Only people person I'm aware of are the servers at pubs or clubs. And Flask... Best hope you absolutely never have to meet with her. Ever."
  1240.
1241. Cas Hutson: "To find anything useful from its smell, of course." Cas huffed, trying to get rid of the burning from his nose by waiting.
  1242.
1243. Jonathan Sommer: "She sounds lovely. Maybe we should turn that frown upside-down, eh?"
  1244.
  1245. Jonathan Sommer chuckles.
  1246.
  1247. Nicolas Q.: What do I roll?
  1248.
1249. Claudius Silvanus: What about someone like I-Man? You know a smart fellow that makes gadgets
  1250.
1251. Martin Baron: "Last time I met with her she was going to kill me, Clayton, and a bunch of other people at gunshot. So no, I'd rather not try to entertain her."
  1252.
1253. Jonathan Sommer: "Well, then we won't go as us."
  1254.
  1255. Nicolas Q.: Guessing d100+25 Mind
  1256.
1257. GM (GM): (( it would be percpetion so 1d100+mind bonus
  1258.
1259. Jonathan Sommer points to the clothing store.
  1260.
  1261. GM (GM): Correct
  1262.
  1263. Nicolas Q.: rolling 1d100 + 25
  1264. (51)+25= 76
  1265.
1266. GM (GM): You smell the bomb parts. Alot of sugar as well as mettalic components.
  1267.
1268. Claudius Silvanus headshakes "Well you know Martin. How about me and John go. She doesn't know us."
  1269.
1270. Nicolas Q.: "All I smell is sugar and the pleasant smell of iron"
  1271.
1272. Martin Baron: "If you two want to meet your maker early, fine by me."
  1273.
1274. RatDoto: "All I smell is sugar and the pleasant smell of iron"
  1275.
1276. Martin Baron: "But I'm not ever going near her for as long as I live."
1277. ( I like the disguise idea though, sounds very fun. )
  1278.
1279. Jonathan Sommer shrugs. "Lets get in costume, Claude."
  1280.
1281. GM (GM): Besides that it appears that george and frank have been here, they are healthy, but it appears that no birds have touched these parts.
  1282.
1283. Jonathan Sommer: ((Time to disguise as a walrus))
  1284.
1285. Claudius Silvanus looks at himself "How exactly is this a bad thing to wear???!!!"
  1286.
1287. Jonathan Sommer: "It's practical, but not flashy. Gotta give the crowd what they want, my man."
  1288.
1289. GM (GM): (( If the birds left maybe you could check with security or someone official like))
  1290.
1291. Claudius Silvanus narrows his eyes at Johnatan "What exactly have you got in mind. And I ain't going around dressed as a woman."
  1292.
1293. Martin Baron waves off everyone to go crash at a bar he used to work at, hopefully get some free drinks.
  1294.
1295. Clayton R. rolls his eyes, not quite sure what to really do at this point.
  1296.
1297. Jonathan Sommer smirks. "Get yourself a sparkling vest, black trousers, black shoes... The model magic assistant."
  1298.
1299. At this point, the phone rings
  1300.
1301. Jonathan Sommer: ((I'm going to roll for disguise))
  1302.
  1303. GM (GM): Go ahead
  1304.
  1305. Jonathan Sommer: rolling 1d100+25
  1306. (76)+25= 101
  1307.
  1308. RatDoto holsters great axe
  1309.
1310. Cas Hutson frowned upon Dotto's response. "Sugar, how- Ok ok, anything else?" He asked towards his direction.
  1311.
  1312. GM (GM): Sheet.
  1313.
1314. Jonathan Sommer tries to put on a walrus disguise with a cape and top hat.
  1315.
1316. RatDoto looks back at Cas
  1317.
1318. RatDoto: "Want me to smell it again?"
  1319.
1320. GM (GM): Afew plastic bits for teeth and some clay and you pass for a goddang walrus
  1321.
1322. Jonathan Sommer: "How do I look, partner?"
  1323.
1324. Jonathan Sommer spins around elegantly.
  1325.
1326. Cas Hutson: "If you wanna do that, yeah."
  1327.
1328. Jonathan Sommer: ((Elegant for a walrus, that is))
  1329.
1330. Martin Baron: ( And everyone ignores the phone, we got more important stuff to do. )
  1331.
1332. RatDoto sniffs bomb components again
  1333.
  1334. RatDoto: rolling 1d100 + 25
  1335. (95)+25= 120
  1336.
1337. George talks on the phone abit and hands it to Clay. "It's for you."
  1338.
1339. Jonathan Sommer: "You got your costume ready, Claude?"
  1340.
1341. Clayton R. snaps out of his thoughts, taking the phone. "Hello?"
  1342.
1343. GM (GM): Doto you smell the bomb components. It appears to be a complex chemical mix and has been handled by few people. You can tell the desk is partially rotted, and George has oily hands.
  1344.
1345. Claudius Silvanus look at Clay... "One sec... Why the hell calls a shop and asks for a person standing right next to a phone?"
  1346.
1347. Nicolas Q. turns to Cas
  1348.
  1349. RatDoto turns to Cas
  1350.
  1351. Clayton R. shrugs back.
  1352.
1353. GM (GM): A rough voice answers the phone, "Come to security, now." and then the phone hands up
  1354.
1355. Clayton R. hangs the phone up, "sounds like I'm in for some fun.... I'm headed up to Security, continue search here."
  1356.
1357. RatDoto: "These components have been handled by a few number of people and are most likely composed of an organic chemical compound"
  1358.
  1359. Clayton R. leaves
  1360.
1361. Claudius Silvanus runs to Clay "I'll go with you... in case we will meet that Flask lady..."
  1362.
1363. GM (GM): Also, George sweats too much.
  1364. Proceeding to Security!
  1365.
1366. Jonathan Sommer: "Oh, hornet head."
  1367.
1368. Martin Baron remains at the bar, drinking his worries away.
  1369.
1370. Jonathan Sommer approaches Clayton with his disguise on.
  1371.
1372. Clayton R. holds out a hand to stop Claud. "you really don't want to come, and by the sounds of things. She's pissed."
  1373.
1374. Clayton R. shakes his head, "stay back, you'll only cause trouble."
  1375.
  1376. Jonathan Sommer: "We'll see."
  1377.
1378. Jonathan Sommer starts waltzing confidently as a walrus.
  1379.
1380. GM (GM): There we go.
  1381.
1382. Cas Hutson: (Isn't Martin back at a bar drinking?)
  1383.
  1384. Martin Baron: ( I'm a fast drinker apparently )
  1385.
1386. Jonathan Sommer follows Clayton closely.
  1387.
1388. Rats are scurrying about in a panic, flask and rats are leaned over a security monitor
  1389.
1390. Clayton R. glares at Jon momentarily before rendezvousing with Flask.
  1391.
1392. RatDoto feels like he's been shifted through time and space
  1393.
1394. RatDoto takes in the sight of scurrying rats
  1395.
1396. GM (GM): Flask looks up at you and points to a monitor.
  1397.
1398. Claudius Silvanus: No no I'm gonna follow you. I want some answers
  1399.
1400. Clayton R.: "reporting..." He says, waiting before Flask, hoping to maintain some form of formality.
  1401.
1402. Clayton R. turns to the monitor
  1403.
1404. Flask: Great. Do you know anything about this?
  1405.
1406. Jonathan Sommer points to the nearest group of rats. "Is it someone's birthday today?" he says in a grand manner.
  1407.
1408. On the monitor you find several birds flying in V formation. They appear to be dropping bombs repeatedly on the empty wastes.
  1409.
1410. Cas Hutson stays back, finding it better to stick around outside of where Clayton, Jon, and Claud are at.
  1411.
  1412. Nicolas Q.: GM
  1413.
1414. Flask: That's directly above us.
  1415.
  1416. GM (GM): ((Yeah?))
  1417.
1418. Nicolas Q.: IMMEDIATELY PLAY FLIGHT OF THE VALKYRIES
  1419.
1420. Claudius Silvanus cringes at what he sees on the monitor "Is... this some kind of a joke?
  1421.
  1422. GM (GM): https://youtu.be/3YOYlgvI1uE
  1423. Soundcload stinks
  1424.
  1425. Nicolas Q.: Thank you T^T
  1426.
1427. Clayton R. nods. "We intercepted a bird topside with a note about a bombing run, we assumed it would be somewhere from inside Endtown. We were searching when you called us."
  1428.
1429. Jonathan Sommer: ((Rolling for magic on some rats))
  1430.
1431. Flask: Thank you so goddamn much for letting us know about that.
  1432.
  1433. Jonathan Sommer: rolling 1d100+35+10+10
  1434. (93)+35+10+10= 148

1437. GM (GM): You still their noses!
1438. They pull out guns and demand you give them back. now!
  1439. *Steal
  1440. But they are distracted.
  1441.
1442. Nicolas Q. admires Jon's show of magic
  1443.
1444. RatDoto admires Jon's show of magic
  1445.
1446. Claudius Silvanus says in an honest tone "Miss Flask... we actually just arrived to inform about this."
  1447.
1448. Jonathan Sommer does some hand maneuvers. "Follow your noses to me, my friends!"
  1449.
1450. Clayton R. I was hoping it wouldn't come to that... but it's a bit late now. What kind of damage have they done? Can we bring them down with some flak guns?"
  1451.
1452. Flask gives you a look, you can actually see the blood pressure pulsate in her eyes.
  1453.
1454. Clayton R.: (( who is flask looking at? ))
  1455.
  1456. GM (GM): The moose.
1457. But you are in the splash zone of her hate
  1458.
1459. Jonathan Sommer starts leading the rats away from the monitors.
  1460.
1461. Jonathan Sommer: ((The Pied Walrus))
  1462.
  1463. Clayton R.: (( and I'm at ground zero ))
  1464.
1465. Clayton R. glares back at both of his companions. "please leave."
  1466.
1467. Flask: Not alot of damage done so far, but sandcrawlers are getting blown to bits so we are losing our eyes up there.
  1468.
1469. Clayton R.: "What solutions do we have?"
  1470.
  1471. RatDoto follows Jon
  1472.
1473. Flask: And I shouldn't need to point this out but a bunch of chuckleheads throwing bombs can tip topsiders off of our location.

1488. Clayton R. sighs. "alright... I'll inform the others, can I borrow a comm to keep in contact?... or do you want o give me a frequency to tune into?"
  1489.
1490. Flask: One more thing, is that yours?" She points to a topsider transport on the the screen.
  1491.

  1985.
  1986. slugman ponders
  1987.
1988. GM (GM): He wails on his guitar and shouts "Rock and roll, rock the sky!"
  1989.
1990. Jonathan Sommer nods and smiles.
  1991.
1992. Jonathan Sommer: ((I fire my wrist launcher at the closest airborne bird))
1993. ((Any special rolls for wrist launchers?))
  1994.
  1995. GM (GM): Have targeting?

  2005.
2006. Claudius Silvanus: (( I'd say some kind of an Exotic Weapon Skill is in order ))
  2007.
2008. GM (GM): Walrus the Magnanimous here has a weapon almost completely dependant on his hand dexterity and isn't like anything else ever.
2009. Does that mean his pickpocket or magic skills should be a combat bonus here?
  2010.
  2011. Jonathan Sommer: Hmm...
  2012. Sleight of hand?
  2013.
2014. Nicolas Q.: Magic, sleight of hand
  2015.
2016. GM (GM): I mean, technically at his level he can do the killer card tricks.
  2017.
  2018. Nicolas Q.: What's the difference
  2019.
2020. Martin Baron: Wrist mounted card launcher
  2021.
  2022. Nicolas Q.: He's now
  2023. GAMBIT
  2024.
  2025. Jonathan Sommer: ((Aw yeah))
  2026.
2027. Martin Baron: If it's wrist mounted, I think it's reliant on aim rather than reflex or skill.
  2028.
2029. GM (GM): Sleight of hand is going in, magic is going out.
2030. To be as vague as possible.
  2031.
2032. Martin Baron: If he was tossing the knife, it'd get combat bonus from sleight of hand / magic
  2033.
  2034. Jonathan Sommer: ((Okay dokay))
  2035.
2036. GM (GM): Fine, +10 per level in pick pocket. roll 1d100

  2045. Nicolas Q.: Mada mada
  2046.
2047. Jonathan Sommer: ((Now to roll for that sweet dmg))
2048. ((Is it the launcher + knife, or only launcher?))
  2049.
  2050. GM (GM): only launcher

  2062.
2063. GM (GM): (( All the way.))
  2064. endturn?
  2065.
  2066. Jonathan Sommer: ((Hell yeah))
  2067. ((Wait, I'm out?))
  2068.
2069. GM (GM): If that's all your actions
  2070.
2071. Jonathan Sommer: ((Was that all one action?))
  2072.
  2073. GM (GM): Yeap
  2074.
2075. Jonathan Sommer: ((I pull 'em closer to the group))
  2076.
2077. Nicolas Q.: I assume the birds have a belt of grenades?
  2078.
  2079. GM (GM): Yes.
2080. And other random bits of explosives
  2081.
2082. Nicolas Q.: So my choices are
  2083.
2084. Claudius Silvanus will use the remaining round to intimidate them
  2085.
2086. GM (GM): They are already leaning to make a pass over your squad as it is.
  2087.
  2088. Jonathan Sommer: rolling 1d100+20
  2089. (60)+20= 80
  2090.
2091. Nicolas Q.: Pull the pin from their grenades, act as an executioner or do a non lethal kick to the gut
  2092.
2093. Claudius Silvanus: (( Well more so to have them surrender ))
  2094.
2095. Jonathan Sommer: ((Slap a collar on 'em))
  2096.
2097. Claudius Silvanus: (( Since well Claude is non-lethal and shit ))
2098. (( I'm sure Flask will execute them though ))
  2099.
2100. Martin Baron: ( Not our problem. )
  2101.
2102. GM (GM): Oh that was to intimidate
  2103.
2104. Martin Baron: ( And it's perfectly reasonable to boot. )
  2105.
2106. Jonathan Sommer: ((Oh, that was to pull))
  2107.
2108. Nicolas Q.: Then I'm going to execute them ^^
  2109.
  2110. GM (GM): rolling 4d100+20
  2111. (96+47+33+79)+20= 275
2112. All but one of them has been scared!
  2113.
2114. Jonathan Sommer: ((That works too))
  2115.
2116. Martin Baron: ( Best not. It's like Batman, you can beat them to an inch of their life, but whether they die or not is up to the court. )
  2117.
2118. Claudius Silvanus: (( I'll do the last one ))
  2119.
2120. Jonathan Sommer: ((I'll use my last turn to ready for a dodge))
  2121.
2122. Nicolas Q.: Characters best reason with the Rat Ogre then ^^
  2123.
  2124. GM (GM): Martin?

  2136.
2137. Martin Baron: ( Is there a debuff to intimiation? )
  2138.
  2139. GM (GM): Nope
  2140. That's not a bad idea though.

  2150.
  2151. GM (GM): You yell,
  2152.
2153. Martin Baron screams out some drunken garble at the remaining bird, most of his comprehensible words being multiple curses and actions he will do to the bird if he doesn't surrender.
  2154.
  2155. Claudius Silvanus: (( Christ man ))
  2156.
2157. You yell a mighty cry that thunders across the sky and into the bird's brain.
  2158.
2159. Martin Baron: ( I'm surprised he doesn't commit suicide from that intimidation. )
  2160.
2161. Jonathan Sommer: ((Martin's got the Voice))
  2162.
2163. The sky quakes and his fear is palpable. He flees like the devil follows him!

2174. Jonathan Sommer: ((Anyone want to shoot?))
  2175.

  2177.
2178. RatDoto walks towards his mark, his axe at the ready.
  2179.
2180. Jonathan Sommer takes one warning shot against the last retreatee.

2209. Jonathan Sommer: "Huh. Didn't expect that..."
  2210.
2211. RatDoto barely registers as all his focus is on his mark.

  2396.
  2397. GM (GM): Or perception
2398. Honestly at 160 you could do some disappearing magic trick or something.

2400. Jonathan Sommer shimmers out of the visible eye.
  2401.
2402. RatDoto mesmerized by the magic trick

  2417. Nicolas Q.: You'll choke the bird
  2418.
  2419. Jonathan Sommer shrugs.
